I am not an ICT wizz but i believe it is safe, if you have programmed the power button to "shut down". In such a case when you press the power button the computer has become programmed to recognise it as a shut down prompt and will commence normal shut down procedure. It's the long press of the power button that can create a problem as the computer will not shut down but simply go off. Irrespective of how you shut down as long as the computer recognises it as a shut down command you should be fine. My 2 kobo (by no means an expert opinion)
You never know what Putin is up to, but he has been effective. Also i dont trust mainstream western media's narrative onn the war in syria and the Russian involvement
ammyluv2002: My dear, he's not your ATM machine. Don't expect much from him, you have a job so why not take care of yourself. I know, we have different ideologies of 'spending' in a relationship but you should free him.
You can ask him for money if the need arises but don't make it look as if its your birthright. I think, it's a bit early to start having issues with money.
errrr.... the Helic i saw in the video is the MI-28 night hunter. the KA 52 has co-axial blades and no tail rotor and a rather distinct shape. except i missed something thats not the KA 52
Exactly, Pay on Delivery always. I recently bought the Droipad 7c pro from parktel at a price far below what Jumia and Konga are offering but i paid on delivery and had no problems.
LOVEGINO: My dear brother, the best way to shop online in naija is PAY ON DELIVERY. Shikenan

Makes sense ooooo!! But we don't know whether he has some Billions backing him up too . Eventually if he wants to truly expand he'll hve to go public with his shares. He's still building sha. Has even started fabricating spares for the Air force.....He can go far
JuanDeDios: I agree. But I hope he doesn't rely on government patronage for funding. He needs to go to the stock market - he has established a good business and should be able to raise money from shares easily. There is really no way you can run a capital intensive business like IVM without going to the stock market unless you're Globacom backed by IBB's stolen billions or Arik backed by Peter Odili's stolen billions or Lekki Gardens backed by Akpabio's stolen billions. It's either that or you remain small forever, unable to compete with the Toyotas and the Nissans.
I feel you totally, u made valid points. My comments are based on the belief that Nigeria must protect its own companies. Govt Patronage alone won't make Innoson start but that guaranteed market @ the beginning will help ensure the company stays afloat and has funds for research, development and improvements. Lets call it encouragement
JuanDeDios: . Good point. But patronage can't be based on such sentiments only. I hope Innoson gets its act together and produces vehicles that meet specs. I'd even suggest they meet with those who buy large numbers of vehicles like the police and discuss their needs.
More importantly, though, Innoson can't survive on government patronage only - that was the mistake Peugeot made. They need the critical mass of Nigerians. The way to get that market is to up their game and compete well with the Toyotas and the Nissans. For example, I'd like to see them export their cars and let's see what foreign regulatory agencies say about them in terms of emissions, airbags, breaking systems, you know the works. You see how they've been rejecting our beans and cashew in Europe? Low standards. I hope Innoson meets standards - I want to buy one of their cars myself. I hope you get my drift.
Preference cos it's a home grown company and responsibly we shld protect it and guarantee it a market. Otherwise big players may push it out. Innoson's funds stay in naija. Am not saying buy Innoson only am saying guarantee Innoson a market share to help keep it afloat
kolexy: Are you not creating a monopoly if you give preference to Innoson or any company.
