Politics / Re: Buhari’s Plane Barred From Landing At Makurdi Airport by patostation(m): 4:55am On Nov 27, 2014 |
Mohammadu Buhari may not be my best presidential material among the motley of aspirants but to interfere with his freedom of movement smacks of desperation for which this government has become increasingly involved as next year's election draws nearer. Only last week, the Speaker of the House of Reps was locked out and the opposition data office was raided. What next will we expect? |
Politics / Re: Why GEJ Is Failing In Boko Haram Battle – Obasanjo Revealed Causes & Solution by patostation(m): 4:13am On Nov 27, 2014 |
Very true. Government appologists have been sharing this idea that it is because the North does not want GEJ, that's why they are sponsoring Boko Haram. Nothing can be farther from the truth! Boko Haram started preparing their assault years before the Yar'Adua presidency. They only bared their fang when the Yar'Adua government murdered their leader, Mohamed Yusuf, extrajudicially. When Aljazeera aired the news of the murders, terrorist and muslim extremists saw that as an attack on muslims in Nigeria and decided to mobilize, finance and sponsor a brutal offensive against the Nigerian state 2 Likes 1 Share |

The "law" is an asss. The government is dumb. GEJ is clueless. The ruling class has no idea. The experts have failed. The co-ordinating minister of the economy is unco-ordinated. The Senior Special Advisers advice woefully and badly. So there are no surprises for me. 4 Likes |

It pains me ànytime I hear the word, "consensus". My mind immediately tells me that there is an 'arrangee' situation, a non-popular but pro-establishment SÉLECTION, not à democratic choice. PDP has succeeded in infesting other parties with the consensus virus. So sad. |
Politics / Re: APC Challenges DSS To Provide Evidence Of Cloning Of Voters' Cards by patostation(m): 9:24pm On Nov 25, 2014 |
Nigerian version of the WATERGATE SCANDAL! American Version; An unpopular and insecure Republican Richard Nixon commissions agents to raid the Democratic Party office in order to gain an upper hand in the forthcoming election. Nixon was disgraced from office and had to resign. Nigerian Version: An increasingly unpopular, insecure and underperforming ruling party after wastefully pumping Billion of Naira on TAN advertisements, still worries that the opposition might win next years' elections. The party is therefore not trusting it's "transformation" to win votes for it. Its scorecards and achievements on the economy and infrasstructure does not seem to inspire confidence. So what to do, it uses police to intimidate Tambuwal and uses DSS to break into the opposition party data centre. These are desperate actions by a desperate party. Even the party failed to conduct presidential primaries out of desperation. 4 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: APC Cloning Voter Cards, PDP Insists by patostation(m): 8:27pm On Nov 25, 2014 |
Our Ruling Party, the Presidency and the security agencies should always remember RICHARD NIXON and the WATERGATE SCANDAL. When an insecure, unsure and underperforming government sees the handwritng on the wall (voters resolve to make changes), it often resorts to underhand practices, often using security agencies. My advice: Leave the opposition alone and sell your own achievements and "transformation". If your "transformation" convinces them, they will vote for you. But if your "transformation" is a ruse, sorry. |
Politics / Re: APC Cloning Voter's Cards In Lagos ‘office’ – DSS by patostation(m): 8:18am On Nov 25, 2014 |
When American former president saw the handwriting on the wall that the political situation in America was not favoring him, what did he do? He paid some agents to break into the Democratic Party office. That resulted in what is known as the WATERGATE Scandal. It cost him his presidensy. Fastforward to Nigeria. When saTAN ambassadors, police or the DSS are used by the ruring party to harras, intimidate, attack or break into the opposition party offices, it becomes a virtue. Also when someone defects from the opposition to the ruling party, it is a virtue. But if it is the other way round, it becomes a vice and heaven must fall down. We are watching! |
Health / Re: Bathing With Sponges & Without Sponges. by patostation(m): 12:53pm On Nov 24, 2014 |
I have not used sponge on my body for more than 15 years. I have sponge in my soap bag though. The iching I get anyday I try it is better told than experienced. On the other hand, I have found out that those who use sponge don't in any way look, feel or smell better than myself. On the contrary, I have managed to maintain a youthful skin when compared with my contemporaries. Over-scrubbing the skin can even expose the skin to ultraviolet rays. It is also next to bleaching. |

As GOVnors, SINators, saTAN ambassadors, members of the house of representaTHIEVES and poliTHIEFtians, they legisLOOT our common wealth into their private accounts and pockets. From state assemblymen they become commissioner, from commissioners to ministers, from ministers to deputy gov'nors and to gov'nors, from gov'nors to VPs and eventually to presidos. In all their long rulerships, they fail to build lasting infrastructure that will take care of the people. Their children school abroad while they treat their headaches, malaria, toothache and other minor ailments in foreign hospitals. They forget there is a day of recorning, a day when what goes around will come around, a day of karma. A day to hear of American drugs, Indian hospitals and Cuban doctors, infact a day when the chickens will come home to roost, a day to die! 4 Likes |

Religion / Re: To All Atheist, Agnostic, Skeptics E.t.c Do People Know You As An Atheist? by patostation(m): 3:31pm On Nov 04, 2014 |
This is what false religion has done to many. All the so-called atheists and agnostics were "converted" by false religions' bad fruitage so they have come to see religion in the negative light. Many of them still know that there is 'a God'. That is why under severe illhealth, intense suffering, uncertainty, death of loved ones you often hear atheists cry out: "Oh God, please help me". In essence many "neo-atheists" have nothing against their maker. Their religions of birth have simply failed in letting them know Him. For now, I wish them luck till the day something will make them know that there is God. 3 Likes |

Romance / Re: Who Do Ladies Dress To Impress? Men Or Other Ladies by patostation(m): 2:40am On Oct 14, 2014 |
1. Before marriage, women dress to find a man (or should I say a Mr Right) 2. After marriage, women dress to impress other women or not to be outdone by them (some though still dress to show men that they still 'got it') 3. Men just dress for the occassion. But the one that annoys me these days is the high heel shoe my wife buys. She will carry it in an extra bag, and a few meters to the event centre, she will "struggle' to wear it (now looking taller than me). And after the occassion, she will again pack the "big shoes" in a nylon bag and wear normal shoe on our way home. Sometimes I am asked to help carry the 'excess luggage' and when the big shoes are on her legs, we experience a 'go slow'. Na wa for women! 1 Like |

Civil servants look forward to retirement pension and life insurance. To most women, children are their insurance since they are the ones that benefit more when children start paying back to their parents. And the more, the better. |

Two things can happen: 1. The jet can crash, bearing in mind the poor maintainance culture in Nigeria 2. Boko Haram, with their RPGs and other sophisticated weapons can easily shoot down the plane. And remember that our fighter pilots have not seen war for a long time. |
