Who am I to talk. I'm a serving core member and I spend most of my time acquiring skills and knowledge. I wanted to adopt his life style but everything changed when I went for an interview to get a job instead of going to my ppa. The question the Hr asked me was crazy anytime I think about it then, but now I have got the answer now. The question was "What do you have to offer? *. My cv was blank. No skill, nothing nothing aside ms office. I told her Ms office and she said no, everyone knows that what else do you I have to offer?, she rephrased the question again and asked what can I do?. I was mute the for several minutes. I was telling her about my qualities which involves me being a fast learner, honest and all but she was still asking me what skill I have. She told me she will get back to me. That's when I knew I lost that opportunity. Thank God for that. This scenario opened my eyes and I started learning skills to improve my self.

Pls,can you give example of the skills

The problem is, because some individuals personally feel secured (socially and economically), they think (because they don’t care to look at the total picture) that things are okay and Nigeria is the place to be. It is only when the majority of Nigerians have that sense of social and economic security and can confidently claim that it is the place to be that we can truly say Nigeria has grown, not when public officials’ pockets have ballooned whilst those of the common man is empty. So, do I blame those who seek students’ visa to escape Nigeria? No. Do I blame those travelling to US so children can be born there to claim citizenship? Not at all. Pay your hospital bills if you delivered babies there. Look Americans are in Africa for their self interests. European oil companies, for example, are plundering Africa’s wealth. However, when you get there seek legal and honest means of staying on. In my decades of living abroad, I’ve seen promising young men and women graduated with excellent degrees from world class universities rushing back home to achieve nothing in real terms. Nigeria wastes its talents. Don’t get wasted.
