KokoBeware: But she left out this part which I think justified his statementInaudible right ? Mark the words "at the end of the year power will be stable". At the end of the year 2013 the power situation in Naija will still remain the same if not worse....its not a cause ! |
ypzilanti: My advice is that the President's media aides should quietly let this one slide. Something tells me that Amanpour is going to be relentless in destroying their pack of lies if they try a back and forth with her. This one no be Channels or AIT reporter,oh.This Jonadunce and his government think they can lie to the western media and get away with it. Little do they know that the truth is out there for the seasoned journalist and reporters of the western media to seek for. Imagine the retard claiming on public media that the light situations has improved in Nigeria on that CNN interview the day he was being interviewd...SMH. It was like i should rip off the TV screen and slap him with my two bare hands to STFU !!! Little did he know that Amanpour would do a follow up on his statement and interview Nigerians on his claim about the country now having steady power supply which has now been established as a blattant lie ! For GEJ to make such a false statement on international media and on top of that further prooved wrong by the CNN report on the interview shows how corrupt minded he is !!! |
onila: I FEEL BAD FOR IVORY COAST!!Hey are you from Ivory Coast ni And my man of the man goes to Sunday Mba !!! |
Oh boy see another football stadium for nairaland . Heaviest traffick here ever......this is the power of Naija !! Up Super Eagles and Congratz fellow Nigerians !! |
Now these EAGLES are back to being SUPERRRRR again !!! |
Naija pumping ! Super Eagles pumping !! |
Ryabcool: Will all of you shut the hell up?! Can any of you dumbheads falsify their claims? What David Cameron said about squandering, is he WRONG? Yes or No! All of you are stuuuupid stuuupid people who evidently do not want betterment of yourselves and your environment. All you feed on is sentiments and utter display of stupidity. Ask yourselves; if Nigeria was on the right path, would these foreigners be saying these things? Good God these stuuuuupid nairaland people have pissed me off this morning.Help me tell them ooo my brother....black men exhibiting their crude and black minded characters and behaviours here, having the narrow minded concept that anything whites discuss about Nigeria or Africa is based on ulterior motives ! No wonder the African countries a backward despite the huge natural wealth. Since African leaders can not harness their resouces ,perhaps the western developed countries would do far a far better job !!! |
uceee: ^^^ Thank God for your life and the life of your baby. Don't tell us you didn't make them pay in any way for all this.Gosh her story is so pathetic and a true state of things in that our sorry ass naija !!! |
Nice one Super Eagles more of this, even though it was an easy one. I hope you all carry this winning spirit into the AFCON tournament ! |
SUPER EAGLES WRAP UP WITH BIG WIN ... Trounce Portuguese side 5-0 The Super Eagles this evening in Faro, Portugal completed their 2013 AFCON build-up with a resounding 5-0 win over 2nd Division Portuguese side, Farense. Playing in front of crowd of just over 1,000 locals, the Super Eagles started brightly with Chelsea's John Mikel Obi scoring from the penalty spot after a foul on Celtic of Scotland's Efe Ambrose. Ambrose had waltzed his way into the defence of the Portuguese side and was duly fouled. However, the Eagles failed to score again as the players went for the 1st half interval. Indeed, Godfrey Oboabona who partnered skipper of the team, Joseph Yobo was the only home-based player in Nigeria's starting XI. Coach of the Nigerian national side, Steven Keshi made wholesale changes on resumption and the substitutes brought the desired effect. Infact, he changed 8 players! Ike Uche re-established himself as the Eagles leading marksman by grabbing a 2nd half hat-trick before Emmanuel Emenike scored the 5th at the death. The team will now depart for South Africa tomorrow. |
By Gods' grace Calgary and am an accountant.[/quote Okay nicey !!! |
bashtee: @ brother most of those things are here, they dont have to bring them if it would add up to their luggage and inconvenience them, they will get enough in African/Nigeria convenience storse, some people dont even eat oyinbo food here, strickly naijalol @ bashtee some students are on management level so bringing things from naija might just be more cost effective/economical than hitting the africa store |
mercylicious: U must be very lucky.Trust me....she really is !!! what province are u going to and what profession are u into @ missahoy ? |
MissAhoy: No I did not, because my two offer letters showed income earned and what will sustain me in Canada, I also added payslips to show that, no harm in adding though, I am not a fan of "plenty documents" in a visa application, takes time to verify and also may lead to too many questions. So I always keep it simple.Aii...copy that ! Thanks for the Info !! |

Ok nice ! So you didnt submit no bank statement to show you are financially capable to take care of yourself while in Canada or even a financial sponsor ? Reason i asked is because i saw bank statement on the list of supporting documents for one of the Canadian visa office |
MissAhoy: I wore a brown dress, light skinned, short brown hair, sat behind you on the xray queue, wanted to ask you then, but you were discussing with the guy infront of you. Finished there 2.30pm will resubmit passport tommorow,no condition was attached to mine.Hi Missahoy, congratz to you and others on your medical call up. Please a dear friend wants to apply for a work permit visa. Kindly list the documents you submitted for comparison purpose. Thanks and wish you get your trv soonest, including others too. Cheers ! |

abusaibu: Goodday guys, i check the status of my application for the Federal Skill Work Programme last week and i saw there, Decision Made, but i filled in since 2006 and i heard that they are going to cancell application receieved b/4 Feb 27 2008 and now i saw Decision Made.Let me first and foremost wish u a very hearty congrations bro. You made it through the rough and stormy paths. For you to see that update on ur file means u are one of the lucky few that the VO had worked on ur file to a stage before a final decision is to be made just when the new policy to cancel the about 300,000 applications that applied before february 2008. But now a final decision has been made on ur file because those lucky few like u will see their files treated to conclusion and i am glad u are one of them. So do not waste time, take the next flight to Accra,Ghana and pick up ur PRV. Its normally on mondays by 8am. Congrats once again and see u in Canada Bro ! NB: On a second thought have u not been checking ur email that u receive from the embassy? Check the email u indicated on ur application for correspondence with the embassy because u ought to have been receiving updates from them to do some certain things. So check that email and know what the update is before u travel because from the way u spoke up there u dont check the email. All the best bro ! |
His deformity has reformed his future for Good !!! Congrats Victor Chukwueke ! |
@ Creamygal...a hearty congrats to you on your TRV and all others too that have secured theirs . Its really good to see progress being made in the house even though CDCH is showing strong head a little. I pray for more good news as these for all others awaiting TRVs and Medical call ups IJN. Allways remember that prayer is the Key ! |
No one else but our own SIGA !!! |
iluminati: Royal air maroc does not fly direct to montreal you must transit thru New york city. Their flight is very small. 118 seats. There is no direct flight to canada. I have finally booked Ethiopia airline to canada on 28th Dec since their transit time is only 2 hours wait in addis ababa unlike turkish airline which is 8 hours wait. Any one going to memorial who have booked airline?Nice...what is the price you booked and where is your destination ? |
blink6: thnx brov. etihad to dubai and then canny as stated by someone here, will do then. Not to Dubai but to Abu Dhabi and then to Canada ! |
iluminati: Etihad airline flied canada at 179k but their connecting flight is in Dubai. Who knows if one will need transit visa in dubai? You should Call their office number to find out guy. |
No need for any form of strife or tension in the house as as regards qouta or no quota. Prayer is the key to getting TRVs...no matter the bottle neck action by CDHC ! |
nivax21: Hmmmm.I don't believe that crapI concur with you...it sure is pure crap ! The simple scenerio playing out is that CDHC's quota for the year is limited now and they have to deny so many to give the limited available trvs to the best packaged applications. School's admission qoutas per season have absolutely nothing to do with CDHCs visa qoutas as there exist different start dates the students could use in determining when to apply and that is why the schools sometimes gives offers about 2 start dates to students as highlighted by @ Efizzypo. So if a student aplication visa does not pull through with a previous start that he uses the next. I believe this quite logical to analyse. So the onus is on students applying for trv to study the trend of visa refusals and aprovals to know the appropriate and best time to apply. But above all its God that does all the work since he alone knows what time is best to bless his own. So guys that were refused please never give up on your dreams until its attained ! |
. . . and another one !!! All these rankings popping up lately with Nigeria @ the wrong end. - Worst out of 80 places to be born. - Most fraudulent - . . . . . . . . . . What's next ?
Im waiting for all those never wana here the truth nairalanders to come and discredit/denounce this report and ask the poster where da hell the report came from...saying its a doctored report and its not true about the Nigerian situation.... Rubbish !!! |
Siga: ...To be honest with you....I dont think any Nigerian that passed English legitimately needs to worry about passing IELTS....just my opinion...I may be wrong...Bro i dont quite agree with you on that oh...IELTS test does not come in the format of the WAEC or SSCE exams. Sincerely speaking that exam is tough because it is technical. Fine! it is the normal english language thingy we all did in secondary school but it is the technicality that knocks most people out ! Especially in the listening and Reading Test. Hence the need to practice those aspect well and of course you also have time to contend with. Though it is not a pass or fail exam but your score matters depending which institution/organization and their stipulated requirements on what the minimum score you should have. |
uchechuwku: Like how much does it cost and can I get materials to prepare for the exam?Siga is right....As at early march this year, you make payment of 35k through a bank draft to Zenith bank and the cost of study materials was about 5k and it includes a study booklet with a practise CD inside. |
uchechuwku: How long does it tAke to register and write an IELTS exam?It only takes a few hours to register and make payments at the Britsh council in Lagos. During your registration you get to pick the exact date from a list of already specified exam dates on their schedule. My advice to @effizypo is to try and enrol for the exam as early as possible even before the new policy review is concluded because many try out the test and dont get their best result @ their first sitting. So it is advisable to make sure applicants tender their best score when applying for the FSWP now since language requirement is now the higest allocated point on the point grid system. In the new policy both husband and wife are mandated to take the test and the result after the exam is valid for 2year |

Done already bro...The final part of the new policy for the FSWP should be out before december runs out. Lots of prospective applicants are already getting themselve set to submit their applications . So i believe you should be warming up too as regards gathering of documents and other stuffs like preparing for IELTS exams because that is a major determinant since the language requirements carries the highest points on the point grid system. |
Let's not wash our dirty linen in public. Memo to Abati and Okupe: Leave Amanpour alone,oh...or you will regret it.
