manbuchai: I disagree with you,how come the villagers stood-by watching without any opposition to the lynching. If they are human and accomodating as you claimed why didnt the chief or elders prevent this lynching. They approved of it,if you watched the video,it is absolutely clear that the villagers are evil.I as a person could not comprehend why they went to this extent. The Aluu villagers are a set of evil people, none of them attempted to stop the lynching of the four young students. My heart bleeds!i am relly scared, one is not save in that country. There is so much hatred,it is a shame.I watched one of those videos in you tube and I certainly heard a voice sounding "open that gate" I am not making assertions here but it could still be possible it was not in the open village. Whatever the case the act is condemned. I do not in any way support this, but what I am trying to say is that the act of a small group of persons cannot be used to make a generic statement for a full tribe. My advice still is, that the law agents should swing into full action to fish out the culprits and kill them to justice. |
ujchief: What are u guys doing at choba and upstructing trafic! Head down to aluu and born those houses! Kill their animals, burn their market and secondary schools. Destroy their public utilities: transformers, boreholes etc. If u cant find the culprits to kill, then destroy properties there. Who said 2 wrongs dont make a right? A second wrong always apeases the first! Burn the palace, market place and any useful establishment their!Your advice is wrong. More than 70% of the structures there are owner by non indegenes of that community. Going there to burn down structures will not in any way replace the lives of those poor helpless students. The real thing to do is for the law enforcement agencies to swing into full action and produce the culprits and not sit down and tell us they are investigating. There are pictures and videos taken at the scene. This should be a food starting point for results. If houses are destroyed and the people go Scott free, then we have achieved nothing. This act should be deeply looked into, and those involved be really killed slowly to feel more pains than they inflicted on the poor students. |
manbuchai: Ikwerre people are known to be hostile to other tribes, they claim they own Port Harcourt. This hostility did not start today, they have no respect for the law of the land.I have heard stories how they terrorise those that lives amongst them. The Aluu village i suppose have reached the end of the road. You should leave the Ikwerre people out of this. I have being in Port Harcourt for decades and as far as I am concerned, they are amongst the most accommodating people in that Rivers state. This is just a barbaric act that has been widely condemned even amongst them. Be more objective pls. |
; ABEG LEAVE MY PRESIDO ALONE. HE IS LOOKING FOR HIS SHOES |
We are all busy talking about the present effect of a past bad job by previous governors. Well, if you ask me, that is not the solution. The present govt is busy giving road contracts to individuals/political associates. Wonder what happened to Julius Berger and others. The only construction company we can reckon with I'm the state for now is the RCC. If they don't stop awarding road construction contracts to indigenous firms/politicians, more of this will happen in the nearest future. Currently, virtually all the roads in PH are bad. Take a drive on the roads of PH if u doubt me. Tankers and trailers are falling everyday on PH roads. A journey of 20mins takes a minimum of 1hr 30mins cos of very bad roads. The govt should invite J.Berger to assist RCC or make RCC come with full squad in the state. Pls save our loves from accidents. |
If there was to be a next world, what would you not like to do that you did in this present world. |
To me, the Marathon medals winners looked like the real winners of the olympics as they were crowned before all spectators alike, during the closing ceremony |
Now, sincerely, does love exist? If it does, then what is Love? If it does not, why do people say 'I love you'? |
This thing na story. E no happen at all. Babes make up stories like this when they have a guilt hanging in their lives. Cock and Bull story, if you ask me. If it really happened anyways, then watch out for the return of The real father. |
Goldie or whatever they call her. I regret having u as a Naija person. We are not like what you exhibited out there. Even a mountain goat from the Hills of Naija will represent is wellllll. |
I HATE TO SAY THIS, BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE. I HATE THIS EGJ OR JGE REGIME. IT IS FULL OF SO MANY DEATHS. BEGINING FROM HIS CAMPAIGN TIME TILL NOW, IT HAS BEEN DEATH, DEATH, DEATH. I HOPE THEY ARE NOT BLOOD TASKING DEM..S? NA WA OH. |
I blame all this on the school officials who will always find pleasure in delaying graduands from their clearance cos of want of money and greed. I hope they are happy now? Other school authorities should learn how not to delay their students from what they should do on time. Nonsense! What a huge loss not only to their parents but to us all (Nija). All the efforts and brains wasted. RIP all. |
I am begining to conclude (with due respect) that GEJ is just a CRETIN. See the open showcase of his immaturity. Coming to conspicously tell Nigerians that he is behind all the ills Bayelsa state is suffering politically. Openly telling us how he had used his presidential wits to arrange people to stone the governor of his state. Whatever you sow, that shall you reap. You see how he was also stoned in another country. |
GEJ shut up, SYLVA u too shut up. Both of you should be seriously ashamed of yourselves. All the projects in Yenagoa and all of Bayelsa are by Alamesiagha. Both of you were non performers in Bayelsa. GEJ, I felt like stoning you that day when you were hailing that SYLVA of his achievements just before the primaries. I wonder where you got your statistics from. Your own time was even worse. The only person I pity is our dear state. You have started again to sing praises for Seriake Dickson. I bet you will still come back to call him a bunch of disgrace and disappointment. Howbeit, we are not surprised at all at all your incompetencies, afterall WHAT SHOULD BE EXPECTED OF A PDP LED BUNCH OF THIEVES? |
OBJ all the way. Almost a stable currency exchange rate for yrs, no borrowing from IMF, WB etc. GSM, the list goea on and on. Above all, he's got liver. |
You guys feel there is no protest in PH. Maybe yeah, but the truth is that activity is really grounded. All companies and banks are closed. The only difference is that cars are moving freely. NLC/TUC officials are ensuring total compliance. They even closed down a drilling company's office today and have threatened to stop all taxis if the strike contonues. |
BADLUCK LABELLA JOSATAN, SHAME ON YOU. YOU THINK SAY YOU GO FIT USE BACKYARD RUNS GET US, NA LIE. INSTEAD, NA YOU GO LEAVE THAT SEAT IN SHAME. I HEREBY PRONOUNCE A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE ON BADLUCK JOSATAN. SERVING TERMS = 10YRS WITH HARD LABOUR AND WITHOUT SUBSIDY.. |
The problem here is that the poor ones amongst them cannot even afford to pay their fare back cos of the Badluck Badnathan fuel hike. That man no go see better. |
Do we blame him? Somebody that went to school without sandals in between mangrooves and different sea animals like crocs. How would he reason like a human. He is only exhibiting his low levels and previlege of dining with humans. I doubt if this guy is actually from Niger Delta. He reasoning is entire different. GEJ MUST GO. GEJ MUST GO. GEJ MUST GO. I DECLARE A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE ON HIM. |
Zebrudaya would say: JESUS CHRIST SAVIOURIZE US ![]() |
I AM SORY TO TELL YOU THAT IT IS PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FORGIVE AND FORGET A CHEATING SPOUSE. YOU ONLY PUT IT IN YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS OR IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, UR UNCOSCIOUS STATE OF MIND. THE NEXT LITTLE STORY/ISSUE OR EVEN MOVIE THAT WEARS THAT LOOK AROUND YOU, YOU REMEMBER IT IMMEDIATELY AND START FEELING BAD. LET NOBODY DECEIVE YOU. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE FORGIVE AND FORGET AS PEOPLE CLAIM. YOU CAN ONLY FORGIVE - BUT FORGET, NO WAY! JUST PRAY IT DOES NOT HAPPEN TO YOU. |
@Occam, They are only trying to stop further troubles an average Nigerian is facing considering the many wahalas we already have. Sorry for my choice of words anyways. |
@Occam, Just sharrrrrrrrrap. I don't think you are from this country otherwise you would asked your elders if they ever practiced such a taboo. May be you are one of them. Now that the UK and Amnesty are saying it is wrong to stop it why don't you people ask them to give you free visa to their country so you will be free to practice you sheet over there. Nonsense. |
Uk, Amnesty or whatever name you ber, you can go to hell. Here is Africa and we've got culture before your yeye entry. Same sex is evil in the sight of God and man. |
No don't do anything! Abi you said she took the call by 10:30pm while you were trying to arrange for love making. The next one will be by 11pm when you are already inside, and she will push you away to take the important calls that matter to her. She knows that you can tolerate such rubbish that is why she is doing it anyway. My friend, open your eyes. If they are open and you still seem blind, then use onions to wash them fast. Guys, can you imagine your wives taking a call by 10:30pm and proudly/boldly telling you to your face that it was their ex-guy that called. I hate to imagine the action that will follow. |
ig should resign. they should also get the policemen and kill them openly. idiots. |
Mbulela, Please don't mind all these pple who will just generalise things cos they were lucky that they have either not being a victim or had a friend/relative as victim. We do not pray for that anyway. @Obinna, it is either that you do not live in PHC or you do not have any news giving media around you. PHC is not safe at all for now. Let us stop painting a fake pix of our town. The pace of crime in the city is so alarming that ppl are afraid of even moving these days. In Trans Amadi some wks back, it was a hell f sporadic shooting. It was gun sound display at Rukpokwu, it a maybe a granade charade at the Everyday supermarket. These ones are the very obvious ones. The worst of it is that the news kinda slow on the diseminating of theseinfo, maybe for political or whatever reason. Let the govt step up and ensure the lives of the citizens in PHC is safe. If you make a random sampling of pples opinion currently, you will find that the residents of PHC are somehow declining their participation in the forth coming RIV carnival for security fears. |
@ Da doctor: MADAM, MIND YOUR LANGUAGE. I AND MY WIFE HAVE LONG BEEN MARRIED WITH CHILDREN, WE DONT TAKE IN ANY 3RD PARTY. SHE IS UP TO THE TASK AND I HELP TOO AS NEED BE. IF U ARE LAZY NOT ALL WOEMN ARE LAZY. THE ODDS OF OMO ODO OUT WEIGHS THE GAINS . MY OPINION. NOTE THAT NOT ALL HOME USE OMO ODO. YOU AND your HUBBY MAY BE SPECIALISTS. NOT OTHERS May I also submit that your wife may be a full house wife. Not all women are. I also think that you do not have the mind of helping anybody so you hide under the cloak of terming it ''Lazy.'' We always say these mordern women, we should also remember that our mothers had their siblings around to help them out in certian house chores as the case may be. |
@Da doctor and Pinkrex, I think you guys are deranged. The issue here is that you see what I wrote as impossible huh. Ok, tell me what is wrong in bringing someone from a very remote village who has no parents stay with you and get some form of education. I bet I have done better than you both. Impact some lives around you! It is wrong when you make them the work machine in the house. Now tell me: would you not make your 14yr old child do some work if you have one? It is the same application here. |
I hate it when we speak as though we are not in Nigeria or that we are not aware of the nature around us. Most of you guys that want to skin the Poster alive are even doing worse than what you are thinking of this lady. Having house girl in Nigeria is a very common thing. It is seen everywhere including your houses and neighbourhood. But we thank God that it is getting refined except for those who are hard-hearted. Most people have house helps and make sure they attend not just school but private and other good schools. The level of exposure your house girl receives also determines the kind of treatment and coaching your children would receive from the house girl, cos whether we like it or not, the house girl is also your daughter and co-coach for our children. You can hardly identify a house girl this days as they look close to if not exactly like the children of those who hire them. And come to think of it, what do they really do these days? Just to help in bathing the kids (that is if the parents did not meet up in that for that time in question), sweep the house and assist the woman of the house when she is cooking. As the kids set out for school in the morning, she follows suit. I am saying this cos we have a maid in my house. Neighbours around us never knew that she was not related to us till when she was to leave (that was after passing out of Secondary school). And to tell you the truth, we are scouting for another. A lot of people put theirs in a trade to benefit them in skill learning. This means that the maids are busy only in the morning. They rarely cook. Ask those who have one, and you will find out. this is so cos most men would not want any other person to cook their home food except their wife plus the fact that the women will not give that opportunity of their husband rating the food of the maid better. House maid is not slavery at all, rather it is a way of helping to reach unto the less previlieged. You use them as you would use your children. This is my perception anyway. |
