Omo, religion deep o. Just as the mind of humans are deep in ignorance and some are deep in knowledge, that's how the practice of religion is deep ![]() Even the so called pentecostals who claimed they have knowledge of scriptures are largely Swift away by ignorance Didijiji:Here is the thing! If you follow the bible carefully you understand the dynamics of time. Holy ground has transcended from that spot of Moses going bare footed and has moved on to being the heart of the saints(believers of Christ) Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. As at the time Jesus was talking to Peter in this verse, he has not yet build his church or he has not yet died and resurrected. He only built his church after he had died and resurrected.(understanding the dynamics of time that what was applicable in the past may not be so anymore in the present). So, one may ask, why would the founders of white garment churches carry over a practice of Moses into the church seeing that the church has transcend from mere being a holy ground into being a spirit being ? The instruction came from God to Moses who was a Prophet.after that, another instruction came from God to Jesus Christ who is a better prophet, better than Moses, that he should build his church The founders of white garment churches could have also been instructed by the Holy Spirit as prophets,is there any such record in the new testament that the founders of these white garment churches have seen the disciples of jesus Christ carrying over Moses practices? If there is no such record in the new testament, certainly it can never be from the holy spirit, but from the spirit of Judaism (the religion practiced by Moses). Don't get me wrong, I'm not condemning any practice, there is nothing wrong going bare footed and putting on white garments in holy grounds, but the question one may probe is, are all these things still necessary in Christianity? or inspired by Moses as a Prophet or have interpreted that verse humanly while emulating a bible verse in their own way as most of them were wbibithout modern education,This is exactly the case! This is the point and answer to my question i have been asking ![]() So, you know in science, humans is believed to evolved from monkeys. monkeys still exist alongside with humans. (The dynamics of time is, something has changed) So, the question now is, will any reasonable educated person continue to subject himself to that kind of interpretation of scriptures? By the way, is it convient to always putting on white garments and tying robes like one ancient of days while other people are on their contemporary outfits looking smart and relating well to the outside world properly? The answer is no! Is it convient to walk bare foot and expose your foots to pressures and sometimes even infections from the soil? The answer is no! What if there is an urgent professional call that requires him to leave the church, he will go there with white garment bare footed? So, common sense will ask, why doing them when they are not necessary anymore? same way Rev Kumuyi and Deeper Life condemned the watching of TV by members who saw it then as a sin. Now almost all Deeper Life churches have a TV.you are getting the picture why i asked the question. Kumuyi banning television watching wasn't necessary in the first place. Now, the members are becoming wiser. I just hope one day, these white garment people will read their bible and become wiser someday. What people should be asking is what is demonic about the removal of shoes? Does it mean I glorify a demon when I remove my shoe or what? What is bad about shoe removal at the point of worship? I was at a mountain yesterday and saw a man dressed in suit praying and he removed his shoes. I feel it’s a sign of respect. The truth is, there is nothing demonic about removal of shoes. There is nothing demonic about white garments. There is nothing demonic about putting people's name in ogogoro and cause them to become drunk, don't mind the pastor, it is all fiction ![]() There is nothing wrong in doing all these things But these white garment people need to understand that too and set themselves free from ignorance |
Didijiji:that one is his own cup of tea. hates shouldn't be a thing of christianity irrespective of how one feels about a particular sect. I think there are questions he needed to ask about the things he saw white garment churches doing, before erroneously coming out to say that in white garment churches someone's name can be soaked in a bottle of ogogoro making the person to become drunk. But the question is, even if the pastor had taken steps to ask questions about what he feels, will anyone in white garment church deem it fit to clarify their ritual activities to him? I think no one is ready to do that. Note also, I have asked a question in this thread, why are white garment churches go bare foots on streets and no one including the op has deem it fit to explain the significance of that or is it because they don't know what to say? The same thing applies,, the pastor or anyone else for that matter may continue saying all sort of hateful things about white garment churches because someone is not reasonably explaining to them what white garment churches are doing |
Ok |

Snakedoctor1:well, what you should know is, when it comes to worship, you can't judge whether people worship other gods by merely see them engaging with other gods. Worship only comes from the heart. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth(not with what you do)confession is made unto salvation. What this means is that, salvation is not by what we do,but by our faith. And if you see a Christian who consistently goes to church having one traditional juju shrine in his backyard, his heart or his faith may be fully with God though he may have the shrine there at his backyard and ignorantly thinking that the shrine is protecting him. Such person's worship is still accepted by God so long he has faith in Christ for his eternal life. In that case, you can't judge him |
My question about white garments is, what are the significance of the white garments and walking bare foot on streets? And, is it really true that white garment churches put people's names in a bottle of ogogoro and cause them to behave drunk according to what that pastor said? |
MTNnews:you are useless fool! get the police arrest these people and create headlines on the story posting pictures and videos of the arrest as evidence, you cannot. Are you not a serial failure like that? |
Creativity22:no one is contemplating demolition of igbos shop at Alaba, it is all fake story by enemies of Nigeria to cause more tension and dishamony between Igbos and Yorubas, they have absolutely nothing to gain from it |
Onyiiobi7735:but you know that it was unlawful for David to take bread from the altar just like you think that it is unlawful for comedians to perform on the altar of the holy spirit? |
Typing:ok, whatever is the outcome, he should also post the news headline here o, that IPOB was found in Alaba. That big fool? |
So, what stops you from blowing whistle to security agents at Alaba, why coming here to display your hatred? |
ebubeson:comedians aren't drunkards and prostitutes now, are they? If a pastor feels that comedy will entertain church members while a programme is on going, I don't see anything bad about entertainment, so long everything is done moderately |
Onyiiobi7735:did you not hear that David took bread in the altar that was meant for the altar and eat it and nothing happened? What is there in this altar that to you are shouting over? My guy, go and learn what the altar of the holy spirit is, stop making noise |
ebubeson:firstly, there has never been anything like polute God's altar. Those that brought comedians to their altar in the past still have their altars working so what's your own? |
Snakedoctor1:and you think that anyone who goes to church consistently do engage into idolatry? !how? |
what is idolatry? |
IamV:you have well explain this. Thanks! But going by the question INEC council, Awonikoko asked Ijeoma Osamor during her cross-examination at the tribunal that the INEC chairman said results will no longer be uploaded in real time . Is it that the INEC council was referring to raw figures or he was referring to scanned ECBA ? Because from the lawyer's statement, the results will no longer be uploaded
|
meolaniyi:OK, I get it now. Thanks |
IamV:https://tribuneonlineng.com/we-wont-transmit-raw-figures-of-election-results-inec-chairman |
Penguin2:snap of ECBA results to upload using BVAS is more authentic than mere uploading figures |
Acekidc4:but fraud can win? |
It seems INEC chairman is deliberately trying to confuse Nigerians in order to delay justice at the tribunal and the court of public opinion, but here is the thing. According to Daily tribune publication on 23rd February 2023 made reference by the INEC council, Ijeoma may not aware that Yakubu did announce that the commission will no longer transmit results from polling units in real time on the IReV, but he specifically said that the polling units have the mandate to use the BVAS to upload the results on INEC portal. real time transmission of results on the IRev is one thing Uploading results on INEC portal is another thing. The idea was that, real time transmission during the collation of results at the national conference centre Abuja should be solely dependent on uploading results on the INEC portal,so that even if the INEC chairman is collecting paper or printed forms from state levels to announce the winner, the figures will have to tally or correspond with what was being uploaded or transmitted and there wouldn't have been any argument at all. The least INEC would have done was to upload the results on it portal through the BVAS if they could not transmit, so that Nigerians will atleast view the results using their android phones and compare them with what was being announced. But INEC did not upload, neither did they transmit on that collation day. Rather, they resolved to some cooked fraudulent paper sheets brought from state levels https://tribuneonlineng.com/we-wont-transmit-raw-figures-of-election-results-inec-chairman |
