safarigirl:The US is definitely home to one of the largest immigrant populations in the world. Every year, close to a million people immigrate over to this country. Even at that, I wouldn’t want to immigrate to a particular city just because it has a huge Nigerian population. I’d prefer to live in an area with a relatively low African-immigrant population |
safarigirl:How exactly is the country overrated? |
Yet another mass shooting. What on earth is going on? Do schools now need to hire more armed guards? |
Elder001:Well, it has been case law since 2013, I think. The plaintiff in that case was an Igbo woman who sued late father’s relatives because they sought to deny her inheritance to some of her dad’s properties. |
Elder001:Yes, it’s much more likely that child support will be implemented via a judicial decision, rather than an Act of the National Assembly. That was exactly how women in Nigeria earned the right to inherit their late fathers’ properties, via a Supreme Court ruling. |
Discussions around the construction of the 4th Mainland bridge in Lagos have resurfaced as the State Government disclosed works on the proposed N844 Billion (US$2.46B) bridge will commence before year-end. Adebowale Akinsanya, Lagos’ Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure made this public at a press conference held to mark the 3rd Anniversary of the State’s Governor on the 19th of April 2018. He stated that the proposed 38km bridge which links the Ikorodu and Eti Osa Local Government areas was awarded in May 2017 but the award was terminated as a result of delays in the commencement of work by the contractors. The approved bidders will be announced by June 2018. When the project was initially announced in May 2016, members of the project team included Visible Asset Limited, Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), Access Bank and many others. As reported earlier, the proposed bridge is expected to be a four-lane dual carriageway, made up of 8 interchanges. Each carriageway will comprise of 3 lanes and a 2-meter hard shoulder on each side. It will also be completed through a Public Private Partnership (PPP). https://estateintel.com/lagos-4th-mainland-bridge-gets-green-light-as-the-state-is-set-to-announce-new-investors/ |
happney65:Well, Trump can’t be indicted per DOJ-OLC memos written in the 70s and 2000. If Mueller believes that Trump committed a crime by coordinating with the Russians, Mueller May submit a report to Congress recommending the impeachment of Trump. |
Lucasbalo:Yeah. The Latino population, here, vastly outnumbers Blacks and other minorities |
Lucasbalo:Thanks Well, 99.9% of gang prosecutions in the county are against Latino gangs |
safarigirl:Of course, he does not have a spec, just like me; although my spec is between 'moderately' curvy and curvy. I can't see myself dating a woman who looks like she weighs less than 100lbs. |
Lucasbalo:Yeah I now work in the county DA's office. So far, its been one of the more interesting gigs I've had. This morning, I sat in on a presentation by a police detective about a gang-related attempted murder that happened last week. |
Lucasbalo:My oga, I've been occupied with work and school. I'm glad the semester is over though. |

Hi everyone, Welcome to the (revamped) American politics thread where we are free to talk about all things connected to political events in the United States. We should endeavor to be civil in our discussions, and eschew unnecessary personal attacks on each other. ![]() ** Edited ** Follow updates on former President Trump’s historic second impeachment trial from page 2004 Follow updates for the November 5, 2024 Presidential election from page 4600 |
diggz:Yes oh That is America for you. The land where personal injury litigation can transform an attorney to a millionaire. The attorneys, depending on Michigan laws, will be entitled to a percentage of that settlement. |
We should also note that the replacement for any injured player, who is part of the final 23-man squad, doesn’t have to come from the preliminary list, per FIFA regulations. So, if for eg Moses Simon cops an injury 2 days before the first Nigeria’s first WC match, a Kayode or Umar could be called up to replace him. |
airmark:Yes |
Ibime:His form in the second half of the season, and injuries, probably counted against him. |
Ibime:Yup Here it is https://mobile.twitter.com/thenff/status/996034802523475969/photo/1 |
I’ll go out on a limb and predict the players to be dropped will be Stephen Eze, Lokosa, Akpeyi, Mikel Agu, Uche Agbo, Echiejile, and Omeruo |
What do you guys think of the Super Eagles 30-man preliminary squad? |
It’s now truly over for Chelsea ![]() Can’t see the team scoring 3, and Brighton scoring 4. It’s now time to take a geography lesson our potential Central and Eastern European opponents. |
PrecisionFx:I hope other men get your message. It’s the height of foolishness for someone to train another person in school, in the expectation that the woman will marry you. If she needs money for school fees, her relatives and family members can hustle to fund her education. |
And some idiots will still go ahead to train another lady in college, and expect her to marry him in the end. |
Sansa143:Haha I had to practice a lot in order to get the pronounciation right. ![]() |
armyofone:I used worcechestershire sauce |
