I think the ladies have to convert more of their free-throws cos if those were scored, we'd be talking of at least a 12-point lead at half time.

But the defense has been effective so far, both zonal and woman to woman. The high press has already caused the Senegalese to commit 2 shot clock violations

FamilyRe: Is Feminism Relevant In Nigeria Today? by PDPGuy: 9:33pm On Aug 23, 2017
Feminism can never really take root in Nigeria until the bride-price tradition is abolished.

There is no way a man would pay bride-price for his wife, and expect to only be a co-equal partner in the marriage even if she works a full time job.

So, a Nigerian man will always lay claim to being the natural head of house if he is married to a Naija woman.

That's why most Nigerian men who are married to European/American women fully accept the notion that they are co-equal partners in the marriage because there was no bride-price involved, and the women equally foot half the bills for running the home. It's also highly likely that the woman paid for the dates on some occasions, unlike in Nigeria where the man is expected to foot 99.9% of the bills on dates.

Truckpusher:
Buhari won the election under the constant threat of war and chaos which we saw during the first election in 2011 and yet some persons in this part of the world still feel he's someone to entrust the future of a volatile nation like Nigeria with , it baffles me till this very moment. Right now he has given some agitators the recognition they never had under Jonathan and some other leaders which have paved way for fifth columnists to threaten our collective existence as a country. Buhari was a looming calamity but again the too many power drunk idiots in a particular part of this country felt otherwise as long as power is in the North irrespective of their own welfare forgetting that Nigeria has only two tribes which is the Rich and the Poor.
If a northerner must be president in 2019, I'd support Governor Dankwambo of Gombe. He's got both state executive, and federal (was former Accountant-general under Obasanjo) experience to lead a country like Nigeria. Donald Duke would complement him as an able running-mate.

Some girls are really stupid. You post semi-nude pictures all over your IG, a guy comes in, views your pictures and you think in his mind he should see you as descent. Rubbish! Don't appear like you don't want to be treated. If that guy had seen a well dressed lady and one who carried herself with decency when you guys met he wouldn't have behaved like a dog which obviously he is. He would have questioned any move before making it.
Whether she posted fully nude pictures of herself on IG or not, the man shouldn't have attempted to rape her. Rape can NEVER be justified in any circumstance. What you're implying is that people have the right to commit sexual assault on another due to the 'indecent' dressing of the victim. That is so wrong on many levels.

It's clear to overwhelming majority of Americans that trump is a divisive figure. A president suppose to bring everybody together not divide us. Why would he relitigate the Charlottesville mess he created. Never believe I will witness an overt racist presiding over America. He's a shame to be called a president. The Begining of the end of this abomination. Why would he attack Sen McCain especially when he knew McCain is on his last stage of life. Trump is truly a low class. I guess money can't buy class. Hopefully, Director Mueller will hurry up and end this abberation.
I still can't believe most of what I heard tonight. It was like something out of a Jerry Springer-type show.

Anyway, Director Mueller's investigation will likely be concluded either late next year or early 2019. That type of investigation takes a lot of time
Foreign AffairsRe: American Politics Lounge - Donald Trump Is US President-Elect ! by PDPGuy: 4:30am On Aug 23, 2017
President Trump spoke for 75 minutes at his campaign rally in Phoenix, Arizona.

He spent most of his speech attacking the media, and picking a fight with Arizona Senator Flake.

Yes, he clarified that he condemned the neo-nazi's, the KKK, and White Supremacists in his speech, he couldn't resist bringing Clinton's name unnecessarily. And why on earth would a POTUS complain about media cameras "going red", which was clearly a lie? cry

thank u at pdp guy but anoda que i want to ask is can one renew his tourist visa over dia b4 it expire if posible how can one go about it thank u
Generally, one cannot renew a non-immigrant US visa in the United States.

But you could extend your "authorized period of stay" by filing a form I-539 with the USCIS. The authorized period of stay is usually a 6-month period starting from the day the CBP officer stamped your passport at the airport. Of course, any application for extension has to be filed well before your period of stay expires.

This may be the initial 30-man list for the World Cup next year cheesy The likes of Kayode, Emmanuel Daniel, Onyekuru, already have have a fight on their hands.
But if Carl Ikeme recovers from leukemia in time, I would put him in my the list, and take out Akpeyi. Dele Alampasu, Daniel and Ezenwa are clear upgrades on Akpeyi.

helloo at pdp guy pls wat do u mean by e-verify and also asid immediate family member is dia any other way one can adjust his statue(as in non immigrant statue
E-verify is a voluntary program by which a good number of US companies and businesses verify the legal status of prospective/new employees.
It basically entails running the person's name on an electronic software to check whether that person is legally authorized to work over here.
As someone on a non-immigrant visa, family is the only route towards adjustment of status

I no even tall @all
She's a giantess
SportsMeet Felicia Aiyeotan, A 6ft 9in Nigerian Basketballer In The US by PDPGuy(op):
Back in her native Nigeria, Felicia Aiyeotan has two brothers, one younger and one older. Asked if her brothers are tall, too, Aiyeotan laughed.

"No, they're tiny!" she said.

In reality, her older brother stands around 6-4, which speaks to the vantage point from which Aiyeotan surveys the world. At 6-9, she's one of the tallest players in women's basketball, at any level.

Aiyeotan, already fluent in English, came to the United States before the ninth grade and, while living with a host family, spent three years at Neumann Goretti High in Philadelphia.

She finished high school at Blair Academy in New Jersey, where she was a boarding student in 2015-16, and then enrolled this month at the University of Virginia. One of four newcomers in head coach Joanne Boyle's program -- the others are 6-3 Lisa Jablonowski, 5-9 Dominique Toussaint and 6-0 Jocelyn Willoughby -- Aiyeotan is an intriguing addition to a frontcourt that's been one of the ACC's smallest in recent years.

"You can't teach size, and I think she's come a really long way in the last four years playing in the States," Boyle said. "Strength is going to be her thing. In this conference, can she hold off stronger players and play against physicality?"

Aiyeotan, whose maternal grandfather stood 7-1, was 6-5 by the time she was 12 years old. She reached her current height in the 10th grade. Growing up, she said, it was not easy being taller than the other girls in Lagos.

"I was trying to hide myself and trying to make myself seem unnoticed, because when I was home in Nigeria back then, I would get made fun of, because I was totally different," Aiyeotan recalled. "I was really skinny, and it was just hard for me to fit. That's why I shied away from sport at first. But coming into America and seeing how people really care about me and are so excited about who I am and my height, and not discouraging, I got comfortable with myself, and I feel free."

On Virginia's 2016-17 roster, Aiyeotan is one of five players listed at 6-3 or taller, along with Jablonowski (6-3), redshirt freshman Shakyna Payne (6-3), and sophomores Debra Ferguson (6-4) and Moné Jones (6-3). The Wahoos' other post players include 6-2 juniors Jae'Lisa Allen and Lauren Moses, who led the team in rebounds (6.9 per game) in 2015-16.

TravelRe: Delta Air Launches Direct New York To Lagos Flight by PDPGuy: 2:25am On Aug 22, 2017
The proposed national carrier would provide competition to the likes of Delta and the mega European carriers on the intercontinental routes.
TravelRe: Delta Air Launches Direct New York To Lagos Flight by PDPGuy: 2:22am On Aug 22, 2017
linearity:
Not true, even the above article indicates that...there is a Delta direct flight between Atlanta & Lagos. Most people, especially from the East Coast in the US despise that flight, because you have to travel backwards (westward) to Atlanta, do a stopover before the plane will travel Eastward towards Nigeria, as a result most East Coast travelers prefer going through London or Europe.

The NYC - Nigeria direct flight is a welcome development, it will represent a major competition between European Carriers and Delta for East Coast travelers, though am not completely sold as American carriers' services are not at par with their European, Asian or even Arab counterparts.
Delta doesn't hold a candle to Ethiopian, let alone Emirates or Etihad. US airlines, most of the time, treat passengers like cattle. There are few/non-existent amenities, even on international flights.
