This White House has been a huge joke. Although the Russia issue is somewhat overblown by the media, the penchant for outright lies/obfuscation by the WH Comms team has been really unfortunate.

The public infighting by the President's aides is indeed a new low

can't you read to understand his motive, he said tremendous cost are being incurred to maintain trannys, so since that's the best way to keep cash flowing in America, so his development is welcomed,
The cost of medical care for transgender soldiers is so great that only less than 1% of the Pentagon's $49bn healthcare budget is spent on transgender healthcare.
Moreover, the US military spend more money in providing viagra to male soldiers, so I don't see how the 'tremendous' cost of trans healthcare is a financial burden to the US military budget. Besides, the top brass of the pentagon, contrary to President Trump's tweet, were taken by surprise with his sudden decision.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Protest In Newyork, Washington As Trump Bans Transgender In U.S.Military(Photos) by PDPGuy: 5:17am On Jul 27, 2017
Trump hasn't seen anything. He will be shocked to discover that Congress can overturn his Executive Order with the necessary legislation.

'Transgenderism' isn't a clear cut mental disease, and as long as the transgendered military personnel are fit to serve physically and mentally, then I see no reason why they should be barred from serving in the military.

Even the top brass at the Pentagon were shocked by the president's sudden move.

Nonetheless, lawsuits against the president challenging the legality of the EO would likely end in a court victory for the president and the military because the US courts have generally given the military deference in such issues.

The proposed legislative immunity will only cover acts (or words spoken) that were done in the legislators' official capacity i.e. speaking on the floor of the senate and/or House of Reps, or other acts that may be performed during an official legislative function.

The immunity won't cover any member of the NASS who commits murder, fraud, electoral malpractices, defamation (when he/she is not working in the respective chambers of both houses) etc.

After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you
It's a big set back for transgender rights.

So does that also applicable to state? why don't they bare who ever has contested before in their states from contesting for senate? Presidency should not sign such selfish jare. wereh senators.
Even if Osinbajo vetoes the bill, the NASS would still override the veto.
So, for all practical purposes, once the amendment is approved by at least 24 state legislatures, just know that it will be one law one way or another.

It's a great series but you have to start at the beginning.
As for housing, you can definitely move to this area and get a 4 bedroom for that price. but I don't think the bar is reciprocal. So you would have to take the one here. It might be better for you to move near DC to avoid retaking it. Also Virginia Beach won't be too far from you. I don't know about getting a house that cheap near DC, but a lot of Nigerians are there.

It seems you are looking to settle down fairly soon. Do you have a fiancee yet?
Lol. No girlfriend yet, let alone a fiancée. My next window for entering a serious relationship would be my 2nd or last year in school.
Hopefully, I'll meet some African lady here.

If I were to move to D.C., I'd have to wait for 4 years after being admitted to the bar here, in order to be eligible

Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by PDPGuy: 9:55pm On Jul 24, 2017
Following FIFA's decision to expand future world cups (from 2026) to 48 teams, and granting Africa 9 guaranteed slots, CAF could expand the qualifying tournament in such a way that the big and 'mid level' teams in Africa can maximize their match-day revenues from home games.

CAF could propose 3 groups of six teams. The top 3 in each group automatically qualify to the WC, and the best 4th-placed team goes into the intercontinental playoffs. This system will guarantee the big teams, such as Nigeria, play 10 matches in total, including five home games. There is precedent for this because the qualification competition for the 2006 World Cup featured a final phase of 5 groups of 6 teams.

Politics › 17 Million Nigerians In Diaspora Push For Voting Rights by PDPGuy(op): 3:59pm On Jul 24, 2017
The leaders of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) are in the country to ensure that about 17 million of their members spread across the world participate in elections to choose those to be at the helm of the country.

At a joint press conference ahead of the July 25th Diaspora Day celebration, NIDO's Chairman, Mr. Kenneth Gbandi, disclosed that the organisation was sending a delegation to meet with the leadership of the National Assembly to achieve the goal.

He expressed optimism that the quest for voting rights for Nigerians in diaspora would be actualised since there is a budgetary provision for the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to capture the data and issue identity cards to them abroad.

The Chairman of NIDO's Board of Trustees, Mr. Samuel Adewusi, who spoke in the same vein, stressed the need to pass the Electoral Act and the 1999 Constitution as amended to pave the way for diaspora voting.

He wondered why Nigeria is yet to take a cue from less endowed countries like South Africa and Niger on the issue of diaspora voting and representation in the National Assembly.

Reiterating NIDO's commitment to providing brain power and technology transfer to the country, he said the fact that Nigerians in the diaspora remitted $24 billion to the Nigeria economy in 2015 spoke volume of the organisation's contribution to the development of the country.

"We are not boasting here. If you look at the $24 billion, it is more than what Nigeria gets in foreign direct investment within five years from the West, our so-called friends. But for those remittances, I don't think Nigeria would be in this position now to talk.

"Those remittances alone are enough to show what Nigerians abroad are doing for this country, not to talk of what we have to give in areas of technology transfer, knowledge transfer like the ICT, and the trauma centre being built by one of us," he said.

Yes that is very true. But remember don't get into too much debt. It's almost impossible to get out of it once it gets too far. Yep. I'll get some fin aid, but I won't work at all for my first year. The admissions advisor told me it's not advisable for first year students to do any type of work due to the volume of school work to be done.

So, it's most likely that I'll be doing part time work in my 2nd year.

BTW, where do you live? I may just move there to take advantage of the cheaper housing cheesy
