FortuneTeller:These American doctors are just threading on the side of caution; they don't want you to sue them for medical negligence (malpractice) ![]() You know we are a lawsuit-happy nation, lol. Your feet must have been swollen by now ![]() Anyway, I like San Diego: it's got the perfect weather and the beaches are serene. The only downside is the cost of living. If you find a one-bedroom apartment for like $1,000, just know that you are lucky. A professor friend of mine, here, said she pays $1500 for her one bedroom apartment. I was shocked. But I told her there are some in my city that go for no more than $1,200 in my area. That is Pacific Beach in San Diego. We hung out there last month

FortuneTeller:Haha I wouldn't want to cause problems ![]() How are you coping with the pregnancy? |
FortuneTeller:Lol It's just her unique way of worshipping God ![]() |
FortuneTeller:Yeah I'll send u a pm |
FortuneTeller:Enjoy your meal |
Thankfully, CAF rejected the idea of hosting the AFCON outside Africa. It was a ridiculous suggestion in the first place. If Ghanaians feel that they can't host it alone, they could partner with Nigeria in co-hosting the event. Simple. |
I thought the minimum age the NASS is seeking was 30 years for president and governors, and senators; 25 years for House of Assembly members and members of the House of Reps? Anyway, I think 30 years is too young for someone to be a president. Instead, the minimum age for the presidency should be 36-37. People with, at least, 13 years life experience after completing higher education, should be the ones to contest the highest office in the land. |
Chelseafan1:Hmm You risk a ban for putting up the pic of another Nairalander without their consent. |
$12.9bn warship while Americans pay the highest medical bills in the Western world ![]() The MIC sure has Washington by the balls. |
OkoYibo:You gerrit ![]() |
OkoYibo:Lol You think she go accept N40k to fvck a guy? 'Socialites' at her level accept nothing less than N250k. In fact, na only millionaires fit afford her services. |
Yes. Scaramucci's appointment signals the President's intention to go all out to battle Mueller and his team fire for fire. Meanwhile, SHS is only the third female White House press secretary, following Dee Dee Myers (Clinton's administration) and Dana Perino (Bush 43's administration). |
MadCow1:It's sad that you think your daughter is an article for sale |
airmark:Well, it's not like Chelsea doesn't have precedent for benching expensive players. I still recall Mourinho's insistence on benching Shaun Wright Phillips, despite the player costing the club over £20 million |
diggz:Chelsea didn't spend big money to buy him just to strap him to the bench. He has to be a starter. |
timbros:I seriously doubt if Conte would relegate Fabregas to the bench this season. My hunch is that he will start in the midfield alongside Kante and Bakayoko. Something like this could be possible: --------------Courtois--------- ----Azpilicueta---Luiz----Rudiger------ ---Moses------Kante---Bakayoko----- --------------Fabregas----------- ----Willian------Morata-------Hazard----- |
![]() I wish her good luck and patience ![]() |
Laura Ingraham or Sarah Huckabee Sanders should be front-runners for the job now. |
Lol The man even tried by staying in the job for six months sef ![]() Its not easy to work in Trump's White House where you're forced to tell bizarre lies every other day. Of course, all administrations lie, but they do so in a believable way. In hindsight, his goose was cooked when he had to lie about the crowd size at the inauguration. It was so blatant |
EmekaBlue:Mekus, you're on point. I sure as hell won't marry any lady who ain't working class/owns her business. That way, I know even if her siblings need financial support, both of us or herself would be able to cater for them. I am not going to train her 4 siblings because I don't resemble Father Christmas ![]() |
dakeskese:I'm sure that those people the pastor paired aren't getting married the next day. Of course, they will get to know themselves before making the decision to tie the knot. |
I agree with one of the critics who said that people should find their pilgrimages with their own money. Government, at all levels, should stop this silly business of subsidizing people's personal religious journeys. It's totally absurd |
davidif:Election of an LG head officer (or Area commander) would bring unnecessary acrimony within the ranks of the Nigeria Police Force. But I believe that the Local Government Councils could exercise effective oversight over the local police formations within their domain. For instance, the Area commanders and DPOs could be required, by law, to brief LG councillors on police activities and the general security situation in the LG. Ditto for the CP to the House of Assembly. |
otokx:Yes. You have to renew it every year. |
happney65:I'm not sure if he can pardon himself under the constitution. Article 2 of the constitution gives him broad powers to pardon any federal official or anyone convicted in a federal court. However, there is a crucial exception to the rule: a president cannot pardon officials who have been impeached or are the subject of an impeachment proceeding. If Trump eventually decides to pardon himself, it will obviously set a new constitutional law precedent in America because no past US president had ever thought of, let alone pardon himself for past crimes or preempt a future indictment. |
happney65:If Obama made the exact same statements, Republicans and conservatives would have been all over the news media denouncing Obama as a "totalitarian president". Some hardline conservatives in the House of Reps may even have called for his impeachment. As you said, the DOJ, Attorney-General (including the deputy and Assistant Attorneys-General), and heads of the federal law enforcement agencies aren't personal aides to the president of the United States. They are only required to pledge their loyalty to the country and the constitution. Even the White House counsel isn't a personal attorney to the president. The counsel only represents the broader Executive Office of the president (which includes WH advisors and other organs of the White House) in legal proceedings. Trump's statements, particularly toward Special counsel Mueller, when taken in their entirety, can be interpreted to constitute obstruction of justice. But, absent specific presidential action such as pressuring the Deputy AG to fire Mueller, obstruction of justice would be hard to prove in this sutuation. |
CAF made the right decision |
Icon4s:Bleep federal character. Its better to hosts the tournament in the areas with the most populous urban centers/football fans. After all, both the 2002 and 2006 AWCON tournaments were exclusively held in Delta, so there is a precedent for ignoring federal character in that regard. |
ChangetheChange:The points you've raised are the reasons why I prefer a decentralization of the Police Force. I'll put forth the following suggestions: - The governors, who are constitutionally recognized as the chief security officers of their states, should have statutory authority to deploy officers in any part the state in the event of a total breakdown of law and order. - The State commissioners of police and the serving DPOs should be answerable to the state houses of assembly. The commissioner of police shall be required to brief the Houses of Assembly at least thrice in 12 months on the general security situation of the state. - A police commissioner and/or DPO can be removed from office by a 2/3 vote of the House of Assembly. - A state shall be responsible for no less than 30% of the funding for police formations within the state. And such funding shall be by way of first line charge from the consolidated revenue fund. - The federal government shall still be responsible for training officers. - Only officers who are residents of their states (i.e. have served in that state for no less than 5 years) should be considered for the CP, DCP and ACP positions. |
And OJ has been granted parole! |
