A former General counsel of the FEC says that Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner may have broken federal election laws when they met with the Russian lawyer who had ties with the Kremlin. If anything was discussed with regards to how to undermine the then Clinton campaign, "political collusion" could be inferred from the conduct of the Trump campaign officials. But legally speaking, unless an exchange of money between both parties can be proved, then there is little to no evidence of criminal collusion. |
sukkot:Haba Anyone is free to bake cakes. His ability to bake cup cakes bears no link to his gender. |
Shiitposter:Someone who pays his girls between N50k to N100k would enough money to influence Nairaland. Not too surprising |
Over 70% of both married, and never married adult Americans say divorce is morally acceptable. |
A former Guantanamo Bay prisoner who pleaded guilty to killing a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan received an apology and a multi million-dollar payment from the Canadian government after a court ruling said his rights were abused. A government statement Friday said details of the settlement are confidential, but an official familiar with the deal said previously that it was for $8 million. The government and Khadr's lawyers negotiated the deal last month based on a 2010 Supreme Court of Canada ruling that Canadian officials violated his rights at Guantanamo. The government released a statement apologizing to Khadr. "On behalf of the government of Canada, we wish to apologize to Mr. Khadr for any role Canadian officials may have played in relation to his ordeal abroad and any resulting harm," said the statement from Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale and Foreign Affairs minister Chrystia Freeland. The Canadian-born Khadr was 15 when he was captured by US troops following a firefight at a suspected Al Qaeda compound in Afghanistan that resulted in the death of an American special forces medic, U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Christopher Speer. Khadr, who was suspected of throwing the grenade that killed Speer, was taken to Guantanamo and charged with war crimes by a military commission. He pleaded guilty in 2010 to charges that included murder and was sentenced to eight years plus the time he had already spent in custody. He returned to Canada two years later to serve the remainder of his sentence and was released in May 2015 pending an appeal of his guilty plea, which he said was made under duress. source: The San Diego Union-Tribune |
Ordega with an assist to Mallory Pugh! Its now Washington Spirit 1-1 Orlando. 27 mins |
baddosky1:The movie should be rated PG-18 (or 17). Such a rating would prevent kids from watching the movie at a theater. |
The club should just have faith in Batshuayi.. He is young, has good positioning and a bit of pace. I wouldn't support the club shelling out £80 million + on some expensive striker from continental Europe. It will be a stupid waste of money. |
Lukaku to Chelsea looks shaky by the day. Chai. His 'jambody' style and positioning in the box will suit CFC. BTW, I just discovered that Spain are unbeaten in their last 59 world cup qualifiers. In fact, the haven't lost a WCQ match since 1993 I believe Nigeria holds the African unbeaten record: The Super eagles are unbeaten in WCQ since a June 2004 loss to Angola. |
It definitely won't be enough to study and live in the US. In the US, you'd need no less than N11 million for the tuition alone. |
Abbeycharles:Where is the nudity? |
Explorers:TuFace, are you listening? ![]() |
DJInfluence:The car companies are working on making electric vehicles that can contain more than 3 people. Besides, within the next 15 years, the cheapest electric cars would sell for around $20,000, which will be affordable by most middle class Americans and Europeans. |
How can a club pay a player 500,000 Pounds/week? And you say someone should go get a Bachelors and Masters degree? After all that, you'd be lucky to be paid $60,000/year. Mehn, this life isn't fair oh. |
Alaska is in serious danger. But now is the time to show how US missile defense works |

Personally, the other thing I found fascinating about America is the portion size of most restaurant meals. A meal meant for one person could actually feed 3 adults in the UK or Nigeria. Yes, they are that big. |
Hannah Cranston and Francis discuss the five things that some non-Americans find weird about American culture and way of life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c29qAiDqjkI 1. One whole aisle of cereal: A visitor from the Netherlands claimed that there are only about 8 different brands of cereals in Dutch stores 2. There are a lot of squirrels 3. The huge gaps in the doors of public toilets 4. Television commercials for prescription drugs: Its only in the United States that pharmaceutical companies are allowed to market prescription medication to the general public. 5. Saying "that's so funny", but never laughing at the other person's joke. |
Wow Did she write a PhD thesis as her resume? This is really serious oh. I'm even trying to get my resume to 2.75 pages, and this lawyer already has a 23-page resume. She must have been so trusted with many tasks in the law office(s)/firms that she has worked at. Kudos to her. |
So, Terry doesn't want to retire?! Instead of signing for another EPL team, he could have pushed for a move to the MLS to retire properly ![]() |

stanech:I don't mind having unprotected sex with Madonna, but I no fit suck breast milk from Bruce Jenner. |
stanech:Quite commendable if accurate |
I should move to Vegas soon ![]() In case anyone is wondering why the marijuana dispensaries only deal with cash, U.S. federal law currently outlaws the cultivation, distribution and consumption of marijuana. And as the banks are regulated by the federal government, they have to follow federal law in that regard. So, the marijuana dispensaries would have to be denied banking services. |
The headline of this post is absolute bollocks. Acting President Osinbajo, by virtue of the powers vested in him by section 145 of the constitution, has assumed ALL the powers of a substantive president. So, there is no hindrance to Nigerian ambassadors or foreign ambassadors in performing their respective official duties. |
bigkesh:That is really scary. When Chile's vastly experienced team can't beat Germany's B (or combo of B and C) team, just know that the rest of the world has no hope next summer. However, the one flaw that Germany's B team has is Draxler's selfish play. There are countless times when he preferred to dribble 4 opposition players instead of laying a pass to a well-positioned teammate. Joachim Low would have to work on that aspect of Draxler's game before the World Cup |
Guys, which international front-two or front-three is the best of all time? I'll go with Brazil's trio of Ronaldinho-Ronaldo-Rivaldo. These guys were an absolute delight to watch at the 2002 World Cup |
Lucasbalo:It's really baffles me at times. Seriously |
Timbuktuo:Of course, the president has free speech rights. What is in question is whether the president's speech was dignifying of the office he holds. For instance, you and I could say "Tonto Dikeh is an ugly idiot" without any scrutiny from the public. But a president (or other public office holder) uttering such a statement reeks of immaturity and lack of appropriate sophistication. |
