I think you are right about the switch but mine is a not an electricity switch which goes on and produces light at an instant.
Its a switch which you turn on but you will see the light after a while. That will take somebody who has enough patience but that is not my worry at all.My heart takes time to warm up,but when it does it produces a very bright light which does not go off quick.
That warming up is a process which takes time to build.The more I understand you the more I like you and the warmer my heart gets.
Sooner or later I will be able to tell if I have grown in love with you coz when I finally open my mouth to say 'I love you' then it means I have studied you,accepted you,embraced you with all your shortcomings and am therefore willing to die for you.(put away self)

Have I ever loved? of course I have.Have I had my heart broken before? Yes dear I have. Did I learn a lesson ? A big major lesson.
That is why I tread carefully and don't lose my head.
I never say I love you anyhow and fast.

Love involves your emotions and your heart.
I must love you to the point where am willing to die for you.Now dying here means dying to self which is not an easy thing cz it means accepting the other individual with all their shortcomings and not trying hard to change them.
These shortcomings are the things we ignore assuming that all will be smooth sailing cz we are deeply in love.
Unfortunately they are the every things that end up killing the love.
