Imagine my mum did that several times even though the gal had her own. The house was ever smelling deodarant!
She was a very clean girl.Matters of hygiene? she was good.My mom is strict on that area and would not tolerate dirt. So she knew the gal was ok.
Several years later my dad still remembers that distinct smell.It got registered in his mind permanently! like sulphur!
How bad was it? you could not even use the bathroom after she had left. And she knew that as well so she would spray it after shower.
We kind of learnt to live with it cz she was soo good. But the smell was silently killing my dad!
That was a medical condition

1.It takes lots of compromise, sacrifice and being humble for 2 people to agree.
Grown ups can be very difficult especially when you have strong willed individuals who believe they are correct and no one wants to compromise.

2.Be humble and be willing to take the losing position.You do not always have to be right if you want to sustain a relationship.

So what it takes? Compromise and sacrifice and be humble.

^^ yeah I just brought it up because at times we think people smell cz they are dirty while there r serious underlying issues.
But its easy to tell cz the gal used to bathe like 3 times. We never told her but she knew she had an offensive smell, just the silly childish stuff of trying to avoid her,while at the same time wanted to play with her! crazy. But she stayed almost 2 yrs.
My dad was getting so affected to the point of puking and pretending he was full at dinner times.
So we let her go in a nice way. I still remember her.

Better ways of handling such. Save your energy for better things not a dead relationship cz that is not progress.

Op. Some time back,my mum employed this housegal and men she made our lives miserable!! She would wash 3 times a day but the offensive smell still refused to go!!. We would spray the house before my dad came in from work cz the smell!! I rem my dad used to avoid her like plague and nobody wanted to be close to her.We were too young to understand but my mum had to let her go.
Till I grew up and realised it could be a medical problem and nothing to do with hygiene.
Now if your dude observes basic hygiene u know like shower daily,brush teeth the normal things we do to keep our bodies clean and he still eminates that foul smell then he could be suffering from a medical condition.

Nah ,counselling is the worst profession.Have you ever consoled somebody when you yourself are in need of consolation?
it happens but funny enough,when I tried to encourage smbody it bounces back at me.I feel encouraged that I encouraged somebody.
That's why I keep doing it because its therapy to me as well. I dont carry pressure and stress with me at all.
If I make somebody smile, I smile as well.

I have 2 friends of mine who seem to have similar probs with their boyfriends.
You know I heard tht men also suffer from pms? I think that is what their dudes are suffering from.
This thing of men suddenly retreating into their caves. The relationship is going on soo well then all of a sudden the dudes retreats!
He doesn't give any reason,he maintains he loves you but he goes mia.Going into some cave!
I told my 2 friends that men need time to reflect as well.Its got nothing to do with you but they just need some space!
But who's crowding them? Its not like you are with them 24/7 or calling them all the time.

OP Therein lies your problems.

1.You thought she loved you cz your handsome? She loves you cz u have more to offer than handsome and trust me that's what matters most to a lady.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made and therefore unique .Do not try to be what you are not.If you dont believe you are handsome then concentrate on the other strengths you have and let them shine. Humans have a way of noticing what you do more than what you look like.

2.What makes you think that sexkillz and 190 are handsome? are they your standard of handsome? Appreciate yourself!
