Vaginismus

Vaginismus is a condition where there is involuntary tightness of the womanliness during attempted intercourse. The tightness is actually caused by involuntary contractions of the pelvic floor muscles surrounding the womanliness. The woman does not directly control or 'will' the tightness to occur; it is an involuntary pelvic response. She may not even have any awareness that the muscle response is causing the tightness or penetration problem.

In some cases vaginismus tightness may begin to cause burning, pain, or stinging during intercourse. In other cases, penetration may be difficult or completely impossible. Types of vaginismus

When a woman has never at any time been able to have pain-free intercourse due to this muscle spasm her condition is known as primary vaginismus. Some women with primary vaginismus are unable to wear tampons and/or complete pelvic exams. Many couples are unable to consummate their relationship due to primary vaginismus.

Vaginismus can also develop later in life, even after many years of pleasurable intercourse. This type of condition, known as secondary vaginismus, is usually precipitated by a medical condition, traumatic event, childbirth, surgery, or life-change (menopause).

Vaginismus is treatable

Vaginismus is highly treatable and a full recovery from vaginismus is the normal outcome of treatment. Successful vaginismus treatment does not require drugs, surgery, hypnosis, nor any other complex invasive technique. Following a straight-forward program, pain-free and pleasurable intercourse is attainable for most couples.

Effective vaginismus treatment focuses on retraining the pelvic floor to eliminate involuntary muscle reactions that produce tightness or pain. Learning how to identify, selectively control, exercise and retrain the pelvic muscles to reduce pain and alleviate penetration tightness and difficulties is an important step in vaginismus treatment.


For women with penetration difficulties or pain, techniques must be learned to allow initial entry without pain. In this step, women practice pubococcygeus (PC) muscle control techniques as they allow the entry of a small object (cotton swab, tampon, or finger) into their vagina, working completely under their control and pace. Any involuntary muscle contractions that had previously closed the entrance to the vagina and prevented penetration are overridden

Exercises are designed to educate, build sexual trust and intimacy, and complete the transition to full sexual intercourse free of pain. Couples can begin to enjoy pleasure with intercourse,

Imagine I see some males opting for come we stay because the parents complicate issues too much.its just damn expensive.

Up there in one of my post I mentioned this lady that paid her own cz she got disgusted by the parents and relatives.

Guess wht? they got married and live together but parents have no clue she paid her own dowry and not the guy.He was just a poor dude struggling but love was key.

I dont believe placing a value on dowry guarantess a stable relationship

I imagine a guy telling the gals parents that hes spent this and that amount on her so it may as well be deducted from the actual figure demanded 4 dowry.
It may not even be monetary value but if your bringing say mmh 2 goats, you estimate the amount u spent on her  BB/Suya/Egusi while dating and equate it to the value of the goat.If its same then you deduct one goat?

In my country when the cold season sets in,they keep advertising on tv and radio warning pple not to leave charcoal burning in enclosed places.

Its the highest cause of death during chilly weather and a very silent killer.

Bt the postmortem will prove what went wrong.(my guess is, they lit fire, windows must have been closed ,then cooked.In the process of trying to keep warm they inhaled too much carbon monoxide which they mistook for sleep and dozed off to their deaths.

I also think women coz we invest our soul,body and mind into the whole relationship.

When it falls apart we are left devastated and picking up 3 the broken pieces takes longer than men'who may' have only invested their bodies into the relationship

And we all know that emotions take longer to heal than body.

Well I wonder who's gonna marry her anyway coz shes rubbed men the wrong way.Bride price is not purchase price .Its a thank u, but its just immoral to equate it to the amount spent in bringing anybody up.
Think of it this way. Dont you think the grooms parents have spent considerable amount on their boy too and probably more than you?
I know of a lady that agreed to pay her bride price on behalf of the fiancee coz the parents demands were too high.The man opted to stop the marriage to drive his point home.The gal frustrated by her parents/relatives decided to assist the guy cz she loved him too much and had money.
They married and the parents still have no clue who paid!
Was that a wrong thing for to have done? help her guy pay her dowry??
