This Onuigbo man is just one of the nominees who are going to serve as Board members of the North East Development Commission (NEDC). He is serving as the representative of the Southeast in the commission.

A man from Adamawa is the Chairman of the newly appointed board.

While another man from Borno is the Secretary of the Board.

Onuigbo is just a floor member; appointed just to satisfy statutory requirement.

But Yoruba/Agbado Press has made the entire thing about Onuigbo as if he was appointed the chairman of the Commission, and to project it as what Tinubu has done for Igbos/Southeast.

To set the records straight, every geopolitical zone must have a representative in the NEDC; it’s a provision of the law. So, the appointment is not out of Tinubu’s magnanimity.

Same rule in NDDC - every geopolitical zone has representative in the NDDC Board.

This should drive a death nail into the hope of any traducer who has been hoping that Obi can be bullied into caving in and abandoning his challenge of the outcome of the last election.

Obi came into the ring ready for all eventualities.

If this list is true, then Tinubu is preparing more for rerun than for governance.

Nobody of another political party won anything in Abia, and across Southeast, largely, on the day of presidential election. Southeast people voted LP top to bottom especially in Abia.

If our judiciary was to work, Orji Uzor Kalu would lose his seat if he’s being challenged in court.

Ben Kalu should lose his seat.

Umahi should lose his seat.

Same with all National Assembly members from Ebonyi that are of the APC.

The same in Imo.

The only few people that are of another party that I think genuinely won their elections are Ifeanyi Uba, the PDP guy that won one Senatorial Seat in Enugu, I think Chinedu Ogar also genuinely won his seat (he’s popular in Ikwo); another other person got his position through rigging.
