lexy2014:When the CBN redesigned the Naira, did you hear them say, for once, that it was to prevent vote buying? Now, answer me…. Whose responsibility is it to redesign the Naira? |
garfield1:Wike “rigged”…. Learn to be using the right register. |
vanitybutiwanti:But are you aware that all the examples you have given here is example of “influence”, not “popularity”? Can Wike walk the streets of Yenegoa and get hailed? |
Lol! Emefiele ensured the money they stashed to buy votes was useless during the election which was why they lost the election and are having a hard time at the Tribunal right now. So they want to punish Emefiele back. Ndi ala! |
iLoveYouToo:But you do realize that Obi could be declared winner? Or the election voided? Or Tinubu disqualified? Or you think these are not possibilities? |
vanitybutiwanti:Are you aware that there’s a huge difference between “being influential” and “being popular”? If we are talking influence, nobody would deny Wike of being influential. But popularity? No. IBB, TY Danjuma, Abdulsalami, Obasanjo, etc, these men are influential but can rarely win their polling unit for anybody. So, know the difference. |
losky83:How does this relate to the topic and body of this post🤔? |
iLoveYouToo:Of course that’s a possibility. The sword ⚔️ can cut either ways. But right now, they are sweating in their scrotal sacs, and Obi is the one responsible for it. |
lexy2014:Whose job is it to redesign the Nigerian currency? |
Lol! All these things they are doing against Emefiele is just because he changed the naira and stopped them from buying votes which is why they lost so scandalously and had to resort to kindergarten level of rigging just to get themselves announced but the embarrassment that followed the rigging has ensured that Tinubu has not breathed well since he was announced. Emefiele did them dirty.🤓 That’s why they want to do him dirty within the little time they have. But will all these stop tribunal from sacking Tinubu? Nope! |
garfield1:The tables are turning… Wike has lost the people while the people are already warming up to Amaechi. The only problem Rivers people had with Amaechi was his being in APC and his association with Buhari. Asides that, Amaechi was more popular than Wike before his political miscalculation. |
Thomasankara:Lol! Ngige is no small fry but I’ll leave you to what you believe. |
AmotekunSW:Lol! If Obi was a nonentity, your paymasters wouldn’t have paid you to doctor the front pages of Newspapers to insert what Obi didn’t say. Obi is holding your Tinubu and all his strongmen on their scrotum.
|
SledgeHammerer:Do you have cognitive difficulties or are you being deliberately mischievous? Go back and read my comment, did I say that Tinubu lost his polling unit? I was specific when I said “Burdillorn gate” but you are here posting his polling unit at Ikeja. Are you not ashamed Tinubu lost at the polling unit in front of his gate? And who is in charge at Aso Rock if not the president? |
Una sure say dem don get am? That was how they lied last week that the list had arrived National Assembly. |
SledgeHammerer:Tinubu lost at his Burdillon gate. Or do you have short memory? Buhari lost Aso Rock. Adamu lost his polling unit too. So what are you saying? |
garfield1:Does this your SS include Edo? Can Wike get 5 unmobilized supporters if he goes to Benin today? Can Wike walk in the streets of Yenegoa without being pelted with pebbles? Can Wike walk the streets of Asaba in Delta? Or even Warri? Except he goes with Akpabio, can Wike draw out 50 people on his accord if he’s in Uyo? How many people rate him in Calabar? Even in his own Port Harcourt, nobody rates Wike. So, where in Southsouth is Wike popular? I want facts, figures, numbers and pictures if possible, and not conjectures. |
kokorokoman:Well, even Hitler had supporters… But what I’m saying is that Wike is not anything close to what the OP described him as. |
I’m sure Tinubu will be regretting paying hundreds of millions of dollars to INEC to rig him in because this purported victory has been tasting like ash since he got. The said “success has many friends” but why is Tinubu’s own success so lonely that he has to commission rogues to malign opposition? By the Peter Obi is done with them, they’d realize that Okwute that Obi is called, is not guy name. Ndi ala!
|
garfield1:One thing I found out about you is that you like to lie to yourself a lot. This was how you were assigning funny figures to Atiku and Tinubu in the Southeast and Southsouth before the elections; I told you it won’t happen but you argued you a are a professor of ‘real politick’. What later happened? Tinubu and Atiku both struggled to get up to 5% of votes cast in the entire southeast. Southsouth wasn’t any different either but for INEC’s rigging. Now you are back with another round of self deception. I can take what you said about other people because they appear realistic but how did you arrive at your conclusion about Wike? Let me tell you the reality on ground, like I told you before the elections, Wike is the most hated politician in Rivers State in particular, and the entire Southsouth in general, as of today. If he contests in a free and fair House of Assembly election today, he would fail even if his opponent is a stone. What you are mistaking for popularity is just his network of criminal structure within the PDP across some Southsouth states. But for the fact that these guys are associating with him alone, they have lost popularity just like Wike. Things were even better for Wike before the election. But after doing what he did during the election, he buried himself by himself. That’s why he’s struggling to get a post in Tinubu’s govt so he can stay relevant. As you didn’t before the election, I don’t expect you to believe what I’ve said here, not like I care, I just wanted to state the facts as they are; like I always do. |
Exclusive101:So much bile in one comment… Well, first of all, Ikpeazu was able to complete the Osisioma Flyover and inaugurated it since as back as July 2022. But asides that, do I look like an Ikpeazu supporter to you? Are you guys not the ones who support the worst of us even when we are doing everything to make sure they are driven into oblivion? You support Orji Uzor Kalu. You support Chimaroke Nnamani You support Okorocha You support Uzodimma You support Soludo. And I won’t be surprised to see Ikpeazu added to your list of darlings now he’s frolicking with Tinubu - your lord and personal saviour. Now, these are men we hate with undying passion but it is you who give them lifeline but will never fail to use them as a yardstick for failure when it suits you. What else is hypocrisy?
|
NewDea4:Can a Nigerian who is staying in Nigeria say is not a Nigerian anymore? And you would say we should respect his choice? |
garfield1:Exactly my point at the bolded. The major aim of this is to use it as a litmus test to test the reliability of Jackson Ude. But remember that having seen him Jackson report the absence of Wike in the ministerial list, Tinubu camp might want to embarrass Jackson and make him a liar by reinserting Wike’s name. But let’s just wait until later today. |
APCNig:The people… He didn’t have the people of Rivers State with him. But that does not mean that he doesn’t have men. Hope you understand the difference? No matter the network that Wike can boast of, including in the judiciary, I don’t think Amaechi has any less of it. Again, he understands the workings of APC and where everyone belongs. Add it to the fact that he will always have eyes inside. |
Rolings:Lol! Tinubu will treat Amaechi and Osinbajo’s fork ups? Really? Well, Tinubu is president and can do anything he wants but let’s see when he would touch Osinbajo or even Amaechi. |
Odin13:Lol! You don’t know the man they call Peter Obi. By the time he’s done with Tinubu and his Owambe boys, they will understand why he’s called Okwute and why Chris Ngige avoids anything concerning Obi like a plague. Agbado boys think it’s by noise but Obi will destroy them while smiling. |
Lol! They thought they would distract us with BBNAIJA but we are wiser now. Sanwolu must explain how we went from “nobody died” to having “103 unclaimed EndSARS victims”. I’m glad the international bodies and platforms are already picking up the news. BBC already reported it. I can’t wait for CNN to do a follow up of their 2020 detailed report of the massacre that happened at Lekki. The souls of our comrades must get justice.

TemplarLandry:Amaechi was Buhari’s Campaign Director General twice. Amaechi was reported to be among the few ministers that had unfettered access to Buhari while he was in govt - he wasn’t used to going through protocols nor booking appointments like other ministers and even governors. Amaechi was part of the engine room and kitchen cabinet of Buhari’s government. Underestimate his network at your own and your paymaster and personal saviour’s peril. But I know you are just consoling yourself sha.
|
garfield1:Lol! I should be the one telling you to reason intellectually. In this game, you can never know who is who. You never know who is loyal to who. You never know who is listening. And there will always be double agents. Obasanjo is reported to once have said that in Nigeria, even if you go into a hole to hold a meeting, by the time you are coming out of the hole, the media must have reported the full details of what you discussed in the hole. Somebody will always know something. |
Since he lost the APC presidential primaries ticket to Tinubu, Rotimi Amaechi has been uncharacteristically quiet and somewhat detached and indifferent about the affairs of his party. Surprisingly, on May 29th when Tinubu was getting sworn in and a lot of governors elected on the platform of APC in different states, Amaechi chose to attend the inauguration of Alex Otti, the only Labour Party Governor that was sworn in that day. Yours faithfully was surprised to see Amaechi there sitting next to Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, Peter Obi’s running mate in the last election. The next time I saw Amaechi in public was at the burial of the late mother of Emeka Ihedioha. It was an event attended by mostly PDP members but Amaechi attended anyways although he sat like nobody invited him but only came because he was bored at home. Lol! Remember that Obi attended that burial too. And now, in new set of pictures, Obi and Amaechi were photographed together in an event. No, it didn’t look like they met at the event, the kind of conviviality captured in the photographs looked like they attended the event together in the company of the only APGA senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe - Soludo’s party’s only senator. Remember that Soludo bragged before the election that APGA was the third biggest political party in Nigeria. I think they are fifth now, behind NNPP. Life! Now, back to the topic, is Rotimi Amaechi now Peter Obi’s ally? Nlfpmod Mynd44

seunmsg:Of course we are enemies of Nigeria for calling out an anomaly. By the way stop spreading fake news on Nairaland. You people should stop editing newspapers to insert what Obi didn’t say. I thought you people said you are not afraid of him?
|
Zxcvbnmghtr:But Tinubu is qualified? And by the way, what is funny about what you just said that you adding laughing emojis? |
