But it’s just the last kick of a dying horse. He will still lose.

Politics › Re: INEC Declares Bassey Otu Winner Of Cross River Governorship Election by Penguin2: 7:18pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Buddha3: Let me even spice up your evening the more:
Sandy Onor is from Ikom LGA in the central. I am from Yakurr LGA in the same central. But I vigorously campaigned for Prince Otu in Cross River, though I don't currently reside in my home State. And from the results, Prince Otu convincingly won in my Local Government.
See, political enlightenment doesn't correlate with party allegiance in my State. We consciously study and understand candidates, then sensitize our people on the need(s) to cast their votes for the right leaders. Ben Ayade has been the only electoral mistake we have had in over 3 decades, and he was imposed by the Governor before him, Liyel Imoke, owing to monetary arrangements between them.
Right from Clement Ebri, to Donald Duke, to Liyel Imoke himself, we have always picked our Governors with a sound measure of awareness and devoid of party or crowd sentiments.
Outside the fact that Sandy's emergence defied long standing agreements, he lacks the capacity to deliver a decent leadership when put side by side with Prince Bassey Otu. So even as brothers, we campaigned and voted against Sandy. We completely ignored the party he belongs to.
I love my State. We don't do blind politics. We voted for Peter Obi in the Presidential elections because we believe in his capacity to deliver, despite the fact the government in power is APC. Now we have gone ahead to elect Bassey Otu for the Governorship against Sandy who is coming from the traditional PDP platform that the State has been used to. So this has nothing to do with any of the parties. The people spoke and INEC listened! You cannot rig elections in Cross River. Yakurr in Cross River is the only Nigerian LGA that successfully dismantled and dislodged an Army barrack over the unbearable antics of military personnel, years ago (I stand corrected). Wow! I give it up for Yakurr people if they truly did that. Meanwhile, I found out before the election that Cross River people like Bassey Otu so I expected his victory. |

TheNiceGuy: Read well penguin! Presidential Election was not condemned but State Election.
Obi did not win any Election anywhere, he failed and came third. By the time Alaigbo Results is challenged in court, his votes will be reduced. He may even come 4th.
EU and other foreign observers who are not on ground just based their assumption on the rumours of hateful Ipob Terrorist apologist who always wants to dent the image of Nigeria in the face of the World.
This was what transpired during Presidential Election, After rigging Alaigbo for Obi, Obidence began to give over-bloated figures to Obi across States.
By the Time INEC concluded collation of Results and announced winner, Ashiwaju Ahmad Bola Tinubu, they began to cry on internet that they were shortchanged of their IMAGINARY mandate.
How? Which mandate?
You don't have 8% in northwest that has the highest numbers of voters. You don't have 30% in Southwest that has the second highest numbers of voters, North Central and North East.
You only performed well in South South and over had over 90% in South East that has least registered voters.
Dear Ipob Terrorist irridentist, How was your mandate stolen? Can Alaigbo mandate make Obi President? After slashing Obi’s votes across regions and adding them to Tinubu, you are here talking about 8% in Northwest and rada rada. Why did INEC not transmit results as stipulated by the Electoral Act and their guidelines if e sure fore Tinubu? |
Politics › Re: So APC Won In Ebonyi And They Are Forcing LP On Us In Lagos? by Penguin2: 7:03pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
TooNoisy: So I just read that APC candidate easily won the gubernatorial elections in Ebonyi State. In-fact he won with 199,131 defeating his PDP rival who had 80,191. A difference of about 120,000 votes. So these people actually voted for APC in Ebonyi but want to force LP down our throats in Lagos abi. I only pity the silly Yorubas that voted along with them in Lagos.
Yorubas voted along with you to defeat a whole Jagaban in his home State; you did not cry tribalism. You guys voted APGA in the State assembly elections in Anambra (Peter Obi's home state) and that was okay for you people. You voted APC in the State assembly elections in Imo and that is also fine. You voted massively for APC in Ebonyi and that is perfect. LP and PDP are neck in neck in Enugu and it is your right to choose. LP will win in Abia and that is perfect.
Now Yorubas decided they preferred Sanwo-olu to GRV and that is now tribalism. You want to force GRV - a person whole most of you had never heard of one month ago - down our throats. GRV that,- being Bode George's friend's son is his only achievement and you want us to hand over the 5th largest economy to him? And the only reason why you want him is that he called Yoruba Afonja, he insulted pastor Adeboye and says he does not think in Yoruba. No sane person voting based on competence will vote for GRV ahead of Sanwo-Olu. Even Jandor is better than GRV.
So Yorubas don't have a right to choose again abi? You can decide to vote APGA, LP, APC and PDP in your States but we have to vote whomever you guys chose in Lagos? If we disagree it is tribalism. And some "woke" Yoruba even joined them too - but most of the Yorubas that joined them are first time voters and young people. LP didn’t have gubernatorial candidate in Ebonyi. But how would you know when you are more interested in noise making 😏 The two states in the East where LP have candidates, they are currently leading. So why the masturbation? |
Politics › Re: The BIGGEST Win For Me As An Igbo Man In This Election by Penguin2: 6:37pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
mancoconut: Amidst all the chaos, bigotry, violence and decadence was that Igbos finally woke up and permanently retired deadweights like Ikpeazu, Chimaroke, Ugwuanyi etc these are derelict who are part of the political class of Igbo leaders that have posed a cog in the wheel of progress for Ndigbo...and trust me more of this is coming. I'm particularly happy for my Abia people, God knows these people have suffered under the clutches of political elements like OUK, Theodore Orji, Ikpeazu etc who have held the state bondage for nearly ages, a new dawn has come in that state and I hope it goes well for them. I intentionally left out Umahi from this political class of failures cause he did very well for Ebonyi, yes maybe his rhetorics sometimes gave him out as someone who was misrepresenting the Igbo interest, but in hindsight when you look deeper...you will realize he was only playing national politics". I hope his successor builds on his successful foundation in Ebonyi, I'm hearing Nwifuru won Ebonyi which is good.
It now remains Imo state, all hands must be on deck to kick out Uzodinma this November when guber election starts in Imo, Uzodinma will prove a tough nut to crack as he's a very ruthless and efficient politician (we saw the handprints of his rigging in the just concluded House of Assembly election in Imo, APC won 25 out of 27 HOA in Imo 🤣). I'm confident if a strong opposition candidate emerges on the LP or APGA ticket for Imo, we will rally behind him to take back power from Uzodinma come November.
In all, this election from a South East perspective, was a much needed breath of air for so many reasons. You are right. And with what happened in this election, it would be difficult before any elected official in Igboland would openly and unabashedly stand against the collective interest of Ndigbo like some of them like Chimaroke and co have done in recent times. |

I’m happy the world is seeing who and what Tinubu and his hordes of BATstards are.
I know Tinubu Morons will say that it’s not Europe that will tell Nigeria how to govern herself but I want to see how Tinubu’s government will relate with the rest of the world after they have clearly stated that the election that brought him is a sham.
That a car snatcher is able to successfully snatch a car and resell it and eat the proceeds does not remove the fact that he’s a thief.
If Tinubu gets sworn in, he would be so illegitimate that he would always be ashamed to come out.
But I know he won’t be sworn in.

In Cross River, it was the turn of the South and PDP foolishly gave their ticket to somebody from the Central in total disregard to that gentleman agreement. It was same story in Ebonyi. It’s the turn of Ebonyi North to produce the governor and only APC gave their ticket to somebody from Ebonyi North. APGA gave it to somebody from the central. While PDP was even more foolish by giving their ticket to somebody from Umahi’s village. So, Ebonyi people had no choice than to respect that zoning arrangement by voting for the APC candidate. Do you know that even Anyim Pius Anyim had to put his political differences with Umahi aside to endorse Nwifuru even though he’s like the leader of PDP in Ebonyi right now? That’s how they won, so don’t gloat about it. |
