The Coalition For Peter Obi, a support group for the presidential candidate of the Labor Party (LP), has declared support for the Gubernatorial Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, ahead of the march 11th guber elections.

The CPO, comprising over 200 support groups across the 13 Local Government areas of the State, is headed by Dr. John Agha, who famously led the obidients movement in the State.

According to a press statement by the deputy director of Media and publicity of the State PDP campaign council, Mr. Moses Idika said the group has equally agreed to stand by Odii and canvas for people to vote for him come Saturday's elections.

"The People's Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council Ebonyi State welcomes with open hands the declaration of support for our governorship candidate, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii by the Coalition for Peter Obi (CPO) ahead of the March 11, 2023 governorship election in the State.

"Recall that the CPO comprising over 200 support groups across all the 13 local governments of Ebonyi State, met in Abakaliki where they declared their support for Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, and also agreed to go ahead and canvas votes for him and stand by him in the forthcoming governorship election in the state," it stated.

Idika further noted that "In the last few weeks, several groups and prominent individuals including top government functionaries have been declaring their support for the PDP flag bearer".

It recalls that the Special Assistant to the Ebonyi State Governor on youth mobilization and drug control, Hon Mark Onu, the State Chairman of the Action Alliance (AA), Mr. Godwin Ugwu adopted Odii as their sole Gubernatorial Candidate before this moment.

He urged other well-meaning support groups in the State to identify with the PDP, and canvas for people to vote for the party's Gubernatorial Candidate on election day.

Tell them that they are wasting their time.

It is the turn of Ebonyi North to produce the governorship in Ebonyi.

If they can’t support the Labour Party candidate, Engr Fidelis Nwankwo, who is from Ebonyi North, then let Nwifuru have it.

If Nigerian judiciary were anywhere close to independent, the sham organized by INEC shouldn’t stand at all.

But this is Nigeria🤦

And one more thing, according to the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Michael Aondoakaa, the Supreme Court has ruled that INEC guidelines have constitutional flavour.

The reason is that INEC’s power to set up guidelines for elections was derived from the constitution which established it. It therefore follows that whatever they decide as guideline carries legal weight and justiciable as against some APC supporters arguing that “Results Transmission” is mere INEC guideline.

See, this case is a huge litmus test for the Nigerian Judiciary; if they still have any shame at all or they have banished all shame and become the vestige of corrupt politicians.

The authentic governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Rivers State, Mrs Beatrice Itubo, has described Mr Fafaa Dan Princewill who is claiming to be the NEW governorship candidate of Labour Party in Rivers as a clown and a distraction.

Mrs Itubo insists that she is the authentic governorship candidate of the LP in Rivers State as she is still in possession of her certificate of return from LP National Leadership and that Fafaa Dan Princewill never participated in the Labour Party primaries.

Could it be possible that Fafaa Dan Princewill was sent by Wike to distract Labour Party in Rivers as some people are claiming?
