LandMann: Arise News should also give a balanced reportage by allowing for someone to show potential frauds committed by INEC agents in favour of Labour Party in various states across the federation.
I have seen result sheets altered in favour of Labour... I have seen result sheets where all votes were practically given to Labour Party and then the result sheet signed by only the presiding officer, no single party agent signature.
Also, obidients, atikulators, batifiers and Nigerians should start directing their anger and frustration towards the presiding officers whose names appear on this manipulated results... Their names are there and you can do simple investigation to fish them out and drag them all you want...
It's completely foolish to be dragging an entity like INEC and it's chairman who could not have possibly duplicated himself into 176000+ persons to commit these frauds while the presiding officers and INEC agents are walking around you free of guilt and shame APC and PDP claim they have structure and have agents in all polling units nationwide. Where were those agents when Labour was altering their results? Again, why did INEC not transmit directly from polling units to eliminate such occurrences? We’ve told you guys that Southeast is willing for the election to be canceled and redone in the region and nationwide. In fact, let Seyi Tinubu be the APC agent in the southeast to oversee the vote counting. And let INEC transmit directly from polling units to eliminate human manipulations outside the polling units. We are willing to go that route, are you guys willing to do that in Southwest? |

garfield1: Simple,it is because a lot of yorubas voted against him in Lagos maybe due to Muslim Muslim ticket and or because of controversy around him or because of anger against apc and being attracted to obi. Apc usually wins 14-16 lgas in Lagos and pdp wins the rest.the northerners in Lagos usually vote apc while the non Yoruba southerners go pdp.tinubu lost Lagos with just 10,000 votes but he won 11 out of 19 lgas.the deciding votes were from kosofe where he lost by 9000,somolu by 1000,Ikeja by 9000 and alimosho by 7000.these lgas are Yoruba dominated and usually vote apc.kosofe and alimosho usually gives bloc votes.infact, alimosho giving tinubu bloc votes would have given him victory.another factor is the massive loss in eti osa lga.again, amuwo odofin, oshodi and ojo gave obi bloc votes.bloc votes from any or two of alimosho, mushin or kosofe would have given tinubu victory... Again, the northerners divided their votes between apc and pdp.for the guber, most northerners will go apc.most yorubas will return apc, many obi fans will not turn up, some obi fans will vote sanwoolu.it will be a landslide...

Peoples Gazette reports that two weeks after the presidential elections held on February 25th, 2023, US President, Joe Biden, is yet to congratulate the person declared by INEC as president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall that both US Ambassador to Nigeria and some independent observers from the US has raised some question mark about the transparency of the election with a seating US senator calling on Washington not accept the outcome of the polls.
This adds to the negativity that has greeted the outcome of the election and the supposed winner as so many international tabloids have reported the person of Tinubu as a “drug baron”.
Should it not bother us that in 62 years, Nigeria can’t still conduct a substantially acceptable election?
Should it not bother us that rather than building on the gain made from 2015 elections, the elections of this year is being compared to 2007 elections?
Nobody should be happy about this, not even the supposed winners.

He just wakes up in the morning, have his bath, put on the AC and go back to sleep. Only expecting any little thing the wife can cook to eat? He wouldn't pay any bills, provide anything but very humble helping out with house cleaning and washing.
Knowing that the situation is not funny on the wife and two children.
The wife must struggle to make food available no matter how little for the children, because she can't watch the children go hungry. In a situation like this, when men goes out looking for means of making food available for their children and family, he is comfortable not having anything to offer all the time. Is this the character of a father and husband that loves?
Is this not enough reason to divorce him? Have you spoken to people or somebody he listens to about this? His parents… His pastor… You know, you need to get people to speak sense into him. So that if you are divorcing him, you will know that you exhausted every possible option. |

chivic: APC will not argue for election cancellation but they will insist that they won.By the time it get to that stage ,it will be to late for them to demand for the cancellation because that would not be in their initial submission.
LP on the other hand will need to prove that they got 25% in about 24 state which they are also claiming while trying to reduce the number of state where the APC got 25% so that it will be below 24.They are hoping to knock off APC is Lagos , plateau,Rivers ,Bayelsa ,Cross river ,and one or two state from the 25% criteria while laying claims of 25% in Ogun,Ekiti,Bauchi,Gombe,Adamawa,Borno etc.
PDP on the other hand will hope that LP does not get the required 25% in the required state .They have a strong believe that LP will reduce the vote declared for APC massively which will then make them the party with the required spread of 25% and more vote than APC even if LP has more vote than them.Ideally this scenario would have lead to a runoff election but supreme court can do magic. You need to understand that PDP also rigged from LP in places where they are strong. PDP took LP numbers in Taraba, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and even Sokoto. So, as LP is taking from APC’s numbers, they are also taking from PDP which in the end, if things go well, leave LP as the undisputed winnner. So, LP is not in court against just APC but PDP as well. The OP has good and logical points. But this is Nigeria. |
