It would have been a surprise if had made a different choice.

fergie001:
See, the Tribunal Chairman based his evidence on the BVAS report which is a secomdary evidence rather than the primary evidence, the machine itself.

What about the voter's register.... Useless to Justice Kume.

One of two things will happen at the Appeal Court, either it is upturned or a retrial will be ordered but since there is no time, it should be upturned.

It is funny....just take a look at the majority judgement and tell me you wouldn't laugh.
When I saw the “Go lo lo lo” and “Buga won” references, it dawned on me that the judgment was written and given to Justice Kume to read.

I cannot, and will never believe, that a Judge who is from Benue and does not understand Yoruba, will be making reference to a Yoruba line in a song in the most trivial of manners for a case as serious as the mandate of the generality of Osun people.

I’m ashamed that something like this can still happen now, when we thought our judiciary was beginning to get things right.

I’m no longer surprised how Akpabio and APC governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom got their judgments.
Politics › Osun Tribunal: What The Law Says In Case Of Over Voting (picture) by Penguin2(op): 9:51pm On Jan 27, 2023
The lead judgment of the Osun Tribunal was hinged on over voting.

But what did the 2022 Electoral Act say about over voting?

Read the provision of the Electoral Act on over voting as captured in section 51 and decide for yourself if justice was truly served in Osun or not.

Do you know that after Segun Oni failed to get the PDP ticket, he was going to become APGA candidate in the last governorship election in Ekiti but was advised to go to SDP instead because APGA is “Igbo Party”?

Now, just imagine Obi was in APGA…
Politics › Re: Would Peter Obi Have Been This Popular If He Was In APGA? by Penguin2(op): 5:05pm On Jan 27, 2023
stanluiz:
No! He won't. Apga is a regional party. His support base will be limited in the South East.

Even Soludo that castigating Peter obi won't contest for president under Apga.

Soludo has a presidential ambition. That's why he is rooting for Atiku. Soludo hopes if Atiku wins and complete his Eight years in 2031, then he will now decamp from Apga to PDP and then contest under PDP.

What is paining Soludo is that Peter obi is getting Nationwide support. His obidient movement is like a revolution. Even International media are taking about him.

If Peter obi is under Apga party. Nobody will be talking about him. That what soludo want.

But he was outsmarted when Obi went to labour party. Soludo want to be the first president of Igbo extraction. So he see Peter obi has a huge stumbling block to his ambition.

With Pete obi supports and his Political change movement Nationwide. Soludo presidential ambition is dead on Arrival.

That's why he wrote that bitter article against Peter obi. He knows as long as Peter obi is still alive and active. He , Soludo is going nowhere as long as presidential race is concerned.
Valid points!

Soludo knows that if Obi succeeds with his presidency then his own ambition is dead forever.

Na Wetin dey pain am be that and we know.

gidgiddy:
What made Peter Obi popular is not the party he belongs to, but his integrity

For the first time in a long time, people actually saw a Nigerian politician talking about reducing the cost of governance, saying he only owns one house in Nigeria, took no pension or gratuity as an ex-governor, his two kids have no car despite being a billionaire, left 75 billion Naira for the incoming administration, did not borrow a kobo as Governor and called the office of first lady a waste

Very few Nigerian politicians can talk like this for it requires integrity to do so.

The problem Peter Obi would have had, had he stayed in APGA and become its Presidential candidate, is that his political enemies would have been shouting that he is in an "Igbo party" and chasing "Igbo agenda"
Exactly my point.

If Peter Obi was to be the APGA presidential candidate, you would have seen APC boys posting pictures of Peter Obi and Ojukwu, and how Obi is pursuing Ojukwu’s agenda through a democratic process.

Trust me, even the most educated of Nigerians would have been tempted to think in that line as well.

So, just like Tinubu men would argue that Tinubu chose Shettima due to political expediency and not for any religious reasons, same way it was for Obi choosing Labour over APGA.

the yoruba voted for buhari in 2015 because of their son ran for the vp and largely because of the deal signed with the northerners. you are dreaming if you think they will leave tinubu for obi or atiku.

the igbos were foolish enough to set camp with pdp and neglect ojukwu for obasanjo in 2003. the yorubas are not mumu.

btw, adeleke in that seat is as useless as a white crayon as far as the sw is concerned.

know this and know peace.
This judgment changes nothing.

In Soludo’s ignominious letter, one of the things he had against Obi was his (Obi) refusal to come and fly the APGA Presidential ticket.

But we know the sentiments around APGA as an Igbo party founded by Ojukwu.

Which has led me to ask… Do you think Obi would have been as popular as he is now if he was running on the platform of APGA?

Do you know that buhari won zone A but suswan won that zone and apc had no strong person to rig there.so who is doing all those rigging? Www.Jokers.ng😏

Tinubu propaganda machine having seen that Obi’s northern rallies have defied their prediction and always filled up with enthusiastic supporters, are now manufacturing crisis where there’s none.

Shebi before Kaduna rally, you idiots spread a video of one Olosho saying they won’t mobilize people to Obi’s rally in Kaduna if they are not given money?

What later happened? Obi’s two rallies in Kaduna has been one of the biggest of any politician in this election cycle.

Kano was a hit too.

And Bauchi was a banger.

So, tell the idiots in Bauchi that they can join Dogara in PDP. They won’t be missed.

I think you should answer that question yourself…

George Akume was the highest ranking APC man in Benue by 2019 election.

If APC got votes in Benue, it’s supposed to be in his region. So how come Buhari got all those votes but Akume didn’t win his Senatorial election?

You all are so predictable. How many Nigerians really can cash buy their conscience?. APC offered 20k in Osun and people still voted PDP. If Tinubu wins you all would be shouting he gave out cash instead of facing reality. Vote buying doesn't sway more than 5% of voters. It only energies those who already planned voting for you.

The complaint of Tinubu is that these policies would affect the image of government and by extension affect the ruling party. Mind you Tinubu was never part of the decision making of the Buhari government. So please you should be getting tired of all these noise.

99% of Nigerians would do worse if they were in Tinubu's shoes. In Osun the governor's sister slapped DSS officials less than a month in power because they refused to be turned to her domestic servants. These are the same people who would want us to believe Tinubu is a devil.

Obi today has not told us whatever happens to the interest on the $150m dollars he saved in banks. Interests on fixed deposits are paid ahead. Let's stop been irrational and start facing facts.
I’m not interested in other jargons you wrote…

But can you prove that the interest rate for the $150m dollars Obi saved was paid upfront to him?
