Politics › Re: God Has Repaid Rotimi Ameachi For His Treachery by Penguin2: 8:05am On Jan 24, 2023 |
N3TRAL: Look inwards.
The former Governor of Rivers State had a place in the Federal Executive council for 7 years. He headed an important ministry in the country and was given the responsibility of negotiating tens of billions of dollars with foreign States and multinationals to revamp Nigeria's archaic transportation infrastructure.
Ameachi only left his department to seek for the highest office in Nigeria. He defeated the incumbent Vice-president and came second to Tinubu.
Ameachi was not betrayed. APC kept their Presidential Primaries open and the most popular southern politician alive won it.
Wike who remained in PDP lost to an experienced Atiku. If Ameachi remained in PDP he wouldn't still be PDP'S candidate against an Atiku or Wike.
Peter Obi wouldn't come third in a PDP primaries election so he departed to an unknown party where he was not going to fight popular political figures to clinch the GCFR ticket.
No southern politician alive stands a chance against Tinubu alone in a Nigerian election. If anyone apart from Tinubu wins in February, it is because a Northerner was in the race. Without an Atiku, Tinubu was going to get 80% of votes cast in Northern Nigeria against any southern politician.
That is the Tinubu that Ameachi came only second to. Finally, somebody is seeing things from my perspective. If this election was between Obi and Tinubu, it would have been over by now, because the north would have voted overwhelmingly for Tinubu. Peter Obi stands a chance in the race today because of Atiku and Kwankwaso who going to take the votes of the north away from Tinubu. |

We were sympathetic to IPOB because we felt they were fighting a just cause, and they were under a purposeful and coordinated leadership of Nnamdi Kanu. But since they have proven, recently, to be working at cross purpose with the interest of Ndigbo, we will tell them that we made them, and we can unmake them, no matter how many guns they have. |

Dsalvo: You guys are really Ignorant and delusional. Thank God this will all be over in around 40 days.
We are all fed up of the "Obi is the messiah" hype from you IPOBians.
Most Nigerians are irritated by the worthless hype and propaganda, over a complete empty barrel and leadership zero, you Igbos believe you must hinge on insulting, demonizing and cursing other candidates especially BAT.
Not long to go. Rest assured future elections will never take the toxic, hateful and insultive nature you Igbos lead it in merely because you always wish to be in charge of things and others even when you or your candidate lack the capacity to lead
Once Tinubu weaves his reformational magic every Nigeria will be too busy trying to aid the success of their State and region, after BAT has 'bulldozed' his theories of decentralized democracy into practice, to be concerned with who becomes President let alone be hating on others over that.
The hustle, for every Nigerian in their corner of Nigeria, will be real under BAT. No more Igbos running away from their land and misrule to go and be burdening others everywhere because of 'one Nigeria' .
We will all be charged to build successes first from our State and regional bases.
You Igbos should even take seconds sometimes to think about the inevitable future Nigeria is heading in instead of just continuing life, year in year out, as irredeemable creatures of instinct, emotion, covetousness, bigotry and blind hatred of others.
Your "lunatic" antics, i.e doing thing the same way over and over to expect a different outcome, has historically brought you nothing but losses, pain, embarrassment, shame and a tragic loss of Igbo sense of identity. Yet you remain self-destructibe and tragic. I pity you people. What you have here is ethnic bigotry woven into beautiful grammatical constructions; but that can only impress an illiterate, not me. To put your entire comment in simpler words, if Tinubu wins (God forbid), Igbos will be chased out of Lagos to back and develop their region. I’m sure you guys are already eyeing all the fine estates owned by Igbos and how you are going to convert them to yours after you have gotten rid of the Igbos from Lagos but God will put you people to shame except Igbos have ulterior motives of subjugating either the Yoruba or any other group in Lagos. Igbos are not covetous, whatever they have, they worked for it. Nobody anywhere in Nigeria can accuse any Igbo man of trying to take what doesn’t belong to him. But it is you guys who resurrect our fault lines every period, reminding the north of how Igbos killed their ancestors, hoping to gain from the apprehensions of the north of the Igbos. You have succeeded with this game since 2015. But having seen that it is not working this time around, you have resorted to conjectures and hallucinatory vituperative utterances. But let me tell you this for free, there’s no pathway for Tinubu to the presidency…. If Obi doesn’t win, Atiku is taking it. Danke! |

Politics › Re: After Seeing Peter Obi Do This I Promise You Can Now Call Me An Igbo Man Too by Penguin2: 9:55am On Jan 22, 2023 |
LocalStandard1: My grand father forth in the Nigerian civil war many years ago. He was a brutal and ardent defender in the war that he got shot on the upper chest, a venomous snake beat him, his finger still carries the scars and vibrates cos of his exploits till his death. He even has a nickname among his pairs in the military. He was so active that even after his injuries instead of retiring he was made a Military Police who was stationed to guard the higher ranking officials. He knew a lot about the personalities of Buhari, Gowon and the likes.
In just a single week Peter Obi has done what I have never seen a single politician in Nigeria do. When Peter Obi visited Kaduna State I taught, well he tried. And that was it. Then just like rumors I read he is visiting Southern Kaduna, exclusively. I thought "ah, just a fake news". Until he actually did visit!
See, I and many others made a woeful mistake of supporting Buhari in 2015 elections, mistakes we are still paying for even till today. So I watched as the years went by and I did my best to not repeat such folly.
Peter Obi's visit to Southern Kaduna is a historic one cos normally no one, I mean no one remembers us in Southern KD when they're out for political voyage and gains. Not the State, not the federal government, not even private institutions. But Peter Obi, an Igbo. I mean this is a classical case of history happening here guys!
And so my promise is this, decades ago my grandfather forth against the Igbos, today and as far as the future goes I will do my best to defend and lend my voice to these people. I used to have to clarify online and offline I am not Igbo, but now you too can call me an Igbo, or even an Ipob, or even an OSU.
Cos an Igbo man has done what no one else ever did. Not only was Peter Obi able to unite the Southern Kaduna people in one voice, but in one fell swoop he has united the Middle Belt, the South South and the South East in one loud and deafening new word....
"OBIDIENTS!!!" Cos of this man Nigeria will never be the same again win or loose. Something has been birthed right in our eyes.
Let's make history together....
NOTE: We have never had issues with Igbos in the entire Middle Belt, I have never heard of communal clashes with them here, if you have ever been to KD, Plateau State, Taraba, Abuja, Adamawa and the likes you will testify. So that says a lot. So I go carry these people matter for head like gala, deal with it!!
EDITED: I forgot to add, my grandfather's name is also PETER by the way. I like your last lines… “Win or lose, something has been birthed.” Nigeria will not remain the same . |

FreeStuffsNG: My dear Igbo Brother, welcome back from ban. Please do not be confused for too long, I know things are moving too fast for you not to be dazed. Sir, 'defection' is different from COLLAPSE.
The new political phenomenon is to collapse all elected political offices and campaign structure into APC like LP did in Ekiti last year when on the last day of campaign, it collapsed completely into APC and same LP did in Jigawa today and same LP did in Plateau state ( 8th state with highest voters registered) on Friday by collapsing into APC.
Methink those who argued that Mr Obi is working for us awa ti Asiwaju Tinubu are prophets. It has already come to pass. Before election, almost half of states with lp candidates will collapse into APC.
Collapse of whole party structure into ruling party has never happened before. Your candidates from Governorship to NA will return their tickets and join campaign train of APC!
Asiwaju and APC have won this election. check my signature for free stuffs! Lol! You wish I’m banned, right? I must be causing you a lot of heartache. FYI, I’ve not served any ban in the last one year because I engage civilly without descending to gutter behaviour. That you don’t see my comments or activities sometimes is probably because I got too busy with work. About collapsing (as you chose to call it) of Jigawa LP structure to APC, I thought you guys said there were no structures? It’s either you accept that you have been lying all along or that no structure was collapsed. |
Politics › Does Anyone Remember The Defections To APC Before Anambra Guber Elections? by Penguin2(op): 9:53pm On Jan 21, 2023 |
APC supporters have been everywhere rejoicing on how the entire Labour Structure in Jigawa has collapsed to APC.
But one wonders why they are rejoicing for harvesting a structure they have always claimed does not exist.
But away from that, I want to remind Nigerians of the quantum defections to APC before the Anambra gubernatorial elections where even the sitting deputy governor and serving senators defected to the party.
While these defections were going on, those of us who are aware of Anambra politics, tried making APC supporters understand that those defections will not guarantee victory for APC but they brushed us aside. What happened at last? Election Day came and APC came third with all the “structures” they bought.
Now, as the 2023 elections approach, the party has embarked on same wild goose chase by thinking that harvesting the structures of rival political parties will give them victory. But I make due to state that all these defections will not matter because in the end, the people will vote who they want to vote.
Jigawa for instance might fall to Sule Lamido’s son who is the PDP candidate. I do not support the boy becoming governor after his father ruled the state, but it seems Jigawa people would rather have him than vote APC. I’m sure the realization of this reality is the reason the APC in the state has started buying defectors as if that will save them from defeat.
So, in conclusion, defections will not get APC victory; and the earlier her supporters learnt this, the closer they are to not getting hurt after the elections. |
