I remember those posts too. They were like "Ukraine will fall in 3 days". They later revised it to Ukraine would fall by Sunday of the week of invasion. Some are still around posting father and mother Russia all over Nairaland.
They are people with warped brain.

Wicked souls that take delight in seeing the weak oppressed by the strong.

That’s why they are supporting those with structure.

But how far Tinubu urchins, is Emilokan’s 1billion votes from Bauchi still possible like this grin?

Odidigboigbo:
Atiku will just tell Ayu to resigned and he will just resigned just like that? Where did Atiku derives the power to order a seating Party Chairman to resigned?
And if Ayu resigned today who takes over? According to party constitution, Umar Damagum Deputy National Chairman North, from Yobe state, the same NE with Atiku takes over if Ayu resigned. You can see that does not solve the issue of bringing the national chairmanship to South. So Wike and his group knows what they are looking for.
All this thing you are saying sounds silly to me.

You and I know that if Atiku and his men decides to accede to the Wike group demand, all they need to is ask Ayu, Damagum and Anyanwu to resign. That way, the Deputy National Chairman South will become the next highest ranking official which will pave way for him to become the Acting National Chairman while the deputy national secretary, who is from the north, will become the Acting National Secretary.

Case closed.

Is this impossible?

mrksquare:
When Ogbulafor gave way it was over 2yeas to election. So the scenerio isn't the same. Here we are faced with a situation were G5 are requesting the resignation of Ayu three months to the presidential election.

Beside Ayu ouster will essentially mean that the Nation Working Commitee of the PDP will have to be dissolved. Senator Sam Anyanwu will have to relinquish his position as the National Secretary of the party to give way for a northerner. And the dissolution of Ayu led NWC will mean organizing another convention for the picking of fresh members of the NWC. So it means that delegates from the 36 states will have to converge for that purpose. And you can imagine the draw back it will have on PDP. The request of the G5 isn't tenable and they also know this fact.

Atiku isn't against Ayu's ouster per se. Is just the timing that isn't expedient. Even if I was Atiku I won't bulge to the G5 request.
If Atiku and his men are serious about resolving the PDP crisis, all this long process you are talking about will not be needed.

The only thing they will need to do is for Ayu, Damagum (Deputy National Chairman North) and Samuel Anyanwu (National Secretary) to resign.

That will leave the Deputy National Chairman South as the next most ranking NWC member and automatically he becomes PDP Acting National Chairman while the Deputy National Secretary, who I believe is from the north, will become the Acting National Secretary.

Status quo will remain in other positions until after the elections.

This thing is not rocket science, is it?

I’m sure what happened was that the guy lured the South African Senator into a nude conversation which the alaye recorded.

Now, the alaye gave the Southy senator bill to pay or he releases her nudes. I’m sure the South African Akata was being stingy with money and refused to pay the bill which made the alaye release the woman’s nudes.

I don’t think Governor Diri has any business here.

Atiku is a greedy person ,his goal is to get 2 term as president even as he has not getting one.
He believes that if he allow Ayu to go and the the Wike faction gets the PDP chairmanship they will use it to work against him in 2027.

What will happen is two ways;
1. The Wike G5 will forget their grudges against Atiku and support him even with Ayu as chairman.
Or
2. They will only work for their governorship candidate and forget about Atiku.

Naturally Atiku will not win Oyo state that is Jagaban zone, Atiku cannot win Abia ,Enugu and Rivers those are peter obi zone

Atiku can only win Benue and Bauchi because those are his zone.

What the states he can't win can helping do is to get much vote to meet the minimum requirements of 25% votes or more.

The strength of Atiku or what is working in his favor is that he is assuming the north will vote for him and that peter obi and Tinubu cannot get much vote as he will get.

So he don't need G5 governor per SE because monst of the G5 state will not vote for him.

His focus should be in APC State in the north.
Atiku’s fear is not even about 2027. His immediate fear is that if Wike men get the PDP leadership they can mess him up in the coming election.

Do you know that you can’t plan your strategy of winning election without the party? So imagine Wike man getting all the strategies that Atiku wishes to deploy to win the 2023 elections… he will just transmit same to Wike and his men who would work on how to counter that strategy in favour of their desired candidate. That’s what Atiku is scared of.

Besides, Atiku is not winning Benue.

So, you think Fulani herdsmen have massacred Benue people since 2015, they will vote another Fulani man? We will see about that.

Foreign Affairs › Ukrainian War: Where Are The Putin Supporters? by Penguin2(op): 7:06am On Nov 12, 2022
When in March Russia invaded Ukraine, some folks rejoiced and supported the invasion and predicted that Kyiv would fall in 3 days.

Most of who support truth and fairness and justice and light, told them that Russia would fail in Ukraine but they laughed at us.

8 months down the line and it has been defeat upon defeat for the Kremlin to the extent they had to start co-opting men into the Russian army just try and hold their fort in their unjust war in Ukraine but the embarrassment continue. The embarrassment culminated when Russia finally swallowed her pride and announced it’s pulling out from Kherson, one of the territories it had occupied since the war. Recall the had pulled out of several territories before and have continued to retreat since about April due to heavy loses they constantly suffered.

Where are the Putin supporters who predicted that Ukraine will be done with within 72 hours?

Where are those fools? Why have they all gone mute?

You’d be surprised how people would open their two eyes and choose to support evil, injustice, oppression of the weak by the strong, and be speaking big grammar on top of it.

Or are they Muslims that want the downfall of America or what?

Surprisingly, these same folks are the ones supporting Tinubu despite his frailties, ills and terrible past.

But I prophesy today, that as Putin failed in Ukraine with all his “Structure” and nuclear warheads against a “structureless” Ukraine who had to quickly assemble a military to combat Russia, so shall Tinubu and even Atiku fail with all their structures against a structureless Labour Party.

The war in Ukraine was not just a war, it was a battle between darkness and light, between freedom and repression, between the big boy who felt he had all the structure to bully the small guy and the small guy who is only seeking his self preservation.

And as always, light will always be victorious over darkness!

Politics › PDP Crisis: Why Is Atiku Afraid To Let Ayu Go? by Penguin2(op): 9:27pm On Nov 11, 2022
An African adage says that the one who kills people with sword does not allow someone else go past his back with a sword.

This adage correctly explains why Atiku is scared to let Ayu resign and allow Wike group produce PDP chairman.

But do you know why he’s afraid? Some do, while some don’t. Now, for the benefit of those who don’t, I’ll try to give this little background.

In the run on to the 2015 presidential election, Atiku, Amaechi, Sule Lamido, Saraki, Babaginda Aliyu, etc, became the aggrieved members of PDP when it became obvious that Jonathan was going to seek re-election; something the north vehemently resisted because they felt it was their turn.

Now, to placate this group, Jonathan conceded the chairmanship of the party to them which led to the ouster of Bamanga Tukur who was the party chairman then, for Adamu Muazu.
[/b
After succeeding in installing Adamu, the aggrieved group christened themselves New PDP (nPDP) and eventually left the party for the newly formed APC.

[b]But their secret agent, Adamu Muazu, remained in PDP and Goodluck Jonathan eventually got the PDP ticket and Adamu was in charge of logistics for Jonathan’s reelection bid.

Needless to say that every plan of the PDP towards winning the 2015 election was supplied, in toto, to the rival APC. No surprises that as INEC was announcing the result of the presidential election, Adamu Muazu was on the next available flight out of the country because he feared Jonathan might come after him. Adamu did not return to Nigeria until sometimes around 2018.

Now, like deja vu, Atiku is seeing the script they played on Jonathan about to be played on him.

Like the nPDP installed the party Chairman before leaving in 2015, the G5 are making similar demand in preparation for 2023, and no one knows what their next move will be even if Atiku accedes to their demand.

Atiku is likely scared that if he surrenders the party leadership to Wike and his men, they might grab the party structure and sabotage his chances from within just like they did to Jonathan.

And as it stands today, Atiku seems fried no matter which side he swings. If he decides to call the bluff of the G5, he’s fried; especially as the G5 seems poised to sign a new member and increase their number. If he decides to accede to the demands of the G5, he’s fried because that would be like handing your scrotum to the enemy’s hand.

We hear IBB has been drafted to broker peace but let’s see what that yields and who blinks first.

Penguin is a bird of reason.
