Trinitycian:Wait, are you a northerner? |
garfield1:Defection or no defection, you know APC cannot win Niger State in 2023. |
Trinitycian:I think we finally have a point of agreement. It is anyone but Tinubu for me too. Nigeria will never recover from Tinubu if he dares win in 2023. |
One of the issues with Tinubu supporters is their inability to be factual, practical and empirical in analyzing the chance(s) of the the APC presidential candidate. If you ask an Atiku supporter how Atiku would win the presidency, he would tell you that Atiku is sure of victory in Northeast, except Borno and Yobe, Northwest, except Kano because of Kwankwaso, and Southsouth because of Okowa and PDP structure (even though we know this is a pipe dream). Ask an Obi supporter and he would tell you that Obi has Southeast and Southsouth on lockdown. Now, with Buhari administration having supervised the greatest massacre of people of Middle Belt in history, those people do not want to hear Muslim or Fulani again which leaves them with only the option of voting Peter Obi. A scenario that will clearly give Obi Victory in North Central and other Bible Belt region like Taraba, Southern Kaduna, Southern Gombe, Southern Kebbi, Southern Borno and even Adamawa. I can tell you authoritatively, that it is an incontrovertible fact that these people would even pay to vote for Obi if it comes to that. For them, it is a “life and death” something. But ask a Tinubu supporter to empirically and logically demonstrate how Tinubu would win the presidency and you will start to hear statements like, “Tinubu is the next president whether you like it or not” and other illogical gibberish. But I want to remind them of a reality that they like to avoid. Buhari was able to become president in 2015 because he won almost the entire North plus the Southwest region. While the Southeast and Southsouth and some part of North Central stuck with Jonathan. Now, for Tinubu to win the presidency, he must have to win the north in addition to his native Southwest region. If not all of the north, at least 2 northern regions plus southwest. The question therefore is, can Tinubu win the Northeast ahead of Atiku? Again, can Tinubu win the Northwest ahead of Atiku and Kwankwaso? Especially with some APC governors in Northwest starting to show some kind of cold feet towards Tinubu’s campaign. Or can Tinubu win the North Central ahead of Atiku and Peter Obi? Of course Tinubu’s chances in Southeast and Southsouth is too obvious to be talked about. Any candidate who will win the presidency next year must win at least 3 regions in addition to getting 25% of votes cast in some other states, which other region can Tinubu realistically win asides Southwest? Trinitycian:Lol! Even Atiku supporter agrees. But do you also agree that Obi has an edge over Atiku? |
Whether na lie o or na true o, we all know that APC governors seem to have abandoned Tinubu to his fate. But his BATstards keep living in fool’s paradise |
I think like Buhari wave swept across Northern Nigeria in 2015, so is Atiku wave sweeping the north this time around. I keep reminding Tinubu BATstards that for Tinubu to stand a chanc, he needs to win the North in addition to Southwest… Can Tinubu win the north like this? |
general111:Hahahaha ![]() Imagine Buhari coming to campaign for Tinubu in Anambra or anywhere in Southeast and even Southsouth… Na minus 100k votes for every word that Buhari utters in support of Tinubu ![]() |
Tinubu supporters have been going hysterical because they heard Buhari say he’d lead Tinubu’s campaign from the front. But I just wanna remind them that during electioneering campaigns in 2015, Buhari promised to lead the war against Boko Haram from the front of elected. Buhari ended up getting elected but terrorism festered on, and even metastasized, with Buhari nowhere to be found. So, the joke is on you to believe Buhari will lead Tinubu Campaign.

Na all this nonsense pension wey Peter Obi go stop when he comes to power. But because it’s a tricky one, he might just slash it into 4 and leave them with one while they remaining 3 will be channeled to something productive. |
Thinkam:IBB… that evil genius. You think this is one of his boys? |
Cherubim and Seraphim… No surprise ![]() More like Terrible and Sorrowful ![]() Tinubu will lose even if the Pope accepts to be in his campaign council. |
Nedfed:I think I now prefer him to Seun. He follows up responses with questions. Seun lets people escape with a lot of lies and incorrect facts. Kayode is good. |
The Nigerian Liquified Natural Gas Company, NLNG, has refuted news going rounds that it has closed operations after it declared Force Majeure due to flooding. Recall that rumour had started flying round that there would soon be scarcity of cooking gas due to their closing down which has driven people into panic buying. I can confirm that today at my place of work, our kitchen department was instructed to go refill their unfinished gas cylinders just so we don’t get cut up in the scarcity. We are still in operation!https://twitter.com/nigeriaLNG/status/1583455077788160000?t=xaO742ThJgy9h84bWAci6g&s=08

Lol Where is Osinbajo? |
OsunOriginal:APC failed woefully in all the things they promised. Incase you’ve forgotten, APC campaigned on 3 cardinal point… Security, Economy and Corruption. Would you say that security is better today than when Buhari was sworn in? Can you say that the economy is better today than when Buhari was sworn in? Can you say corruption has been reduced to below what it was when Buhari was sworn in? Must we continue to make excuses for Buhari’s failure with global economic issues? |
babyfaceafrica:Who will win Plateau, Benue and Taraba? |
OsunOriginal:What I think of Tinubu’s manifesto is that na mumu go believe Tinubu and his manifesto after all the lies they told in 2015 and later denied. |
garfield1:Garfield1, let’s be practical like we always are… You know Peter Obi will sweep the Southeast and Southsouth, right? And you know that Obi is strong in Southwest, right? Now, with what Fulani herdsmen did in the North Central with Muslim community seeming to be complicit, you know that states like Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa and Abuja do not want to have anything to do with a Muslim again not to talk of a Fulani? This clearly gives Peter Obi an edge in North Central. Then there is Taraba in Northeast. Adamawa Christians are another set of people that will also shock us. Then there’s Southern Kaduna, Southern Gombe, Southern Kebbi, Southern Bauchi, etc. These are empirical factors that puts Obi ahead in the upcoming election. Tinubu is only sure of Southwest. While Atiku is only sure of 4 States in Northeast and maybe 6 states in Northwest. With Kwankwaso running away with Kano if he doesn’t withdraw from the race. |
garfield1:Yea. Election is now about candidates, not parties. Like I’ve told you before, I’m supporting the APC guber candidate in my state. While we are all Obidient in the presidential election. |
garfield1:The truth is that you sef know that Cross River is PDP. The people of Southeast and Southsouth have this undeniable hatred for APC. |
Afamed:You must be in sifia pain. The heat from Labour Party don too much for una. Too muchn’t it ? |
Naija02:Which one is upholded? It’s upheld please Awon blogger blogger |
abbeyfel:Yes, flooding is a global phenomenon but when you look closely, you’d find out that there are things those governments have done to prevent subsequent occurrence. Have you not read that Cameroun had an agreement with Nigeria that Nigeria would build a dam which would always serve as buffer whenever Cameroun releases water from Lagdo dam but Nigeria has failed to build the dam since about 1980? |
seunmsg:Same question I wanna ask… Shey na ghosts get SCIL? Why was no mention made of its CEO or Chairman or even representative? Emefiele is just there doing aboki bidding. Very foolish man. |
DisLifeSha:Why not think of how to ensure that flooding doesn’t occur ever again, rather than allowing flood to occur so we can pay ecological funds? |
Windscribe:In 2015, as the English Premier League was about to begin, bookmakers who believe in structure like you, projected either Man City, Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea or even Arsenal to win the league. Their reason? Those clubs have structure and have won the league before. But somewhere, was a certain Leicester City who just got promoted to the league 2 years before then. They’ve never made top 4 before then. Not even top 10. Nobody gave them a chance. People wrote them off. But guess what, they won. Without structure and big money, they won. You know what gave them victory? Young determined squad that were out to make a statement. You see? Even with your football analysis you still goofed. And like Leicester, Labour Party will win the 2023 elections. Thank you! |
Obi has human feelings abeg. See responsiveness na. We have a sitting government o, they have not deemed it fit to issue even a statement. We have a whole Ministry for Disaster Management and Humanitarian Affairs. They too have not raised even a strand of hair on their head. But here is Peter Obi, the man they like to hate, doing what they and their candidate cannot do, and you are telling me it’s eye service. Thunder fire you. |
All I can say is that they messed with the wrong generation |
Morphinne:Obi was governor, so he has executive experience. Till today, nobody has accused him of corruption. We know his real age. We know where he’s from. We know his real name. We know the school he went to. We know his source of wealth. He was Chairman of a Bank and therefore has expert knowledge of the Financial Sector and Economy. He has chains of businesses which makes him an entrepreneur and a wealth creator which is what Nigeria needs right now. Then lastly, he’s frugal which will see him reduce cost of governance and wastages in government. I almost forgot that before he became governor of Anambra, the state was 26th in External examination performance but by the time he left office, Anambra was number one. That’s a testament of his value for education which is one area that Nigeria is in dire need of drastic measures to revitalize. Till today, he has no cronies or relatives he put in power and are feeding fat nor does he have agberos that are doing dirty jobs for him. |
Morphinne:Did you listen to his reasons for supporting Obi? |
