Hmmm!

Seems Southeast bloc has pitched their tent with Sani Musa.

First, it was Orji Uzor Kalu at his home.

And now it’s Hope Uzodimma boys flooding Imo with his posters.

Tinubu and his urchins seem to have thrown their weight behind Almakura.

The first line of the battle has already been drawn let’s see who will register the first victory.

There’s no gainsaying that whichever of the bloc that succeeds in installing their man as national chairman already has one hand clinging on the party presidential ticket.

We wait and watch...

I still don’t understand something...

The man was the proprietor of the school which means he wasn’t really hungry.

We might say the school may not have been as profitable but at least his meal is assured.

So why the wickedness?

His action was purely an act of wickedness, betrayal of trust, kidnapping, murder and fraud.

I support he be publicly hanged.

These are times jungle justice comes handy.

Instead of waiting for high court, Appeal Court and Supreme Court when our anger shall have subsided.

Each time I imagine what a beauty Hanifa was, I get even more angry...

Politics › Re: Saleh Zazzaga To Tinubu: Apologise For Saying 'I Don't Believe In One Nigeria' by Penguin2: 5:09pm On Jan 24, 2022
Tinubu won’t apologize for that statement because he still holds that view.

And not just holding the view, he has been putting his words to action since 2015.

Since 2015 Tinubu has had nothing to do with anybody or anything concerning Southeast and Southsouth.

IPOB/ESN/UGM menace o...

Niger Delta Avengers o...

Tinubu has never issued any statement or given 10 kobo to victims.

But not so with the north...

Tinubu is always caring about the north. If there’s any fire incident he will rush and donate millions.

If a northerner loses his cat, Tinubu will go for condolence visit.

In his own map of Nigeria, there’s only North and Southwest.

So, why would you ask him to apologize when he still holds the view and putting it into action?
Politics › Re: Dokpesi: Atiku Will Vacate Office After 4 years For President Of SE Extraction by Penguin2: 4:36pm On Jan 24, 2022
Lies!

Southeast and Southsouth will vote Atiku if he gets the PDP ticket; so this lie is totally unnecessary because Atiku would definitely wanna do his 8 years if God spares his life.

The Southeast is not in a hurry.

We don’t even mind the Southsouth getting VP in 2023.

Politics › Re: 2023: Challenges Before Osinbajo by Penguin2: 4:31pm On Jan 24, 2022
NobleRace:
You don't know the status of a president. A president is the overall authority. He has no godfather. He's not subservient to anybody. If Osinbajo would cow under Tinubu, He would have cowed under the Villa Canal during his days as acting president.

It was said of Buhari too that he'll be loyal to Tinubu Because Tinubu was the vehicle he rode on to be become president. You can judge if this prophecy has come to pass.

Even Obasanjo was not not voted for in the south west because it was thought that he'll be doing the bidding of the north. We all know that the reverse was the case.

The president fears no one because he's not under the authority of anybody.
Whatever Osinbajo becomes tomorrow, he would never go against Tinubu interest too.

Or are you going to tell me he would?

This is the mark of a genius, well-reasoned,well-thought out. I've always suspected this. And everytime I remember that that Tinubu and Osinbajo are Yorubas, I always suspect an undercurrent of a cult-like understanding and agreement leading to mutual benefits for the two of them in all this.
Exactly.

But they think they are smart and we wouldn’t know.
Politics › Re: 2023: Challenges Before Osinbajo by Penguin2:
Don’t be deceived Nigerians, the imaginary rift between Tinubu and Osinbajo is a smokescreen.

Tinubu and Osinbajo are one and the same.

The two are playing a game in APC.

See how they’ve made the political discussions and permutations in APC revolve around the both of them.

Their aim is simple, it’s either Tinubu gets the ticket or in trying to escape from Tinubu, the cabals will settle for Osinbajo; in which case the Yoruba still gets it and Osinbajo will forever be loyal to Tinubu.

An Osinbajo presidency will never go against Tinubu interest. That’s a given.

Tinubu will nominate appointees in Osinbajo government. That’s a given.

Osinbajo might not be able to reprimand a Tinubu appointee in his cabinet because such individual would be answerable to Tinubu instead.

Therefore, even though Osinbajo is ably qualified to become the president of this country, the Tinubu encumbrance hanging around him is a huge dent. We don’t want a president who would still hand our treasury to his godfather.

So, I admonish APC and its stakeholders to look beyond the noise that these two are generating and go for a neutral candidate.
See him mouth like settle.

It is interesting and vital to note here that the PDP which many of us still proudly support and adore was in power for 16 solid years and in those years there were 4 Presidential Inaugurations and on none of those was an Igbo man found worthy by the PDP of even Vice Presidency and we are still bold to say it is the APC that has not even finished one and a half tenure that doesn't want to give power to Igbos. Odi nma.

NOW; Seriously, let's be sincere. As things stand today politically, why would the APC even hand power to us Igbos in 2023?
On what grounds?
On what records?
On what politics?
is power given to anyone?
is it an appeasement or a gift?

The APC is a political party. The main focus of a political Party is to hold power and keep it to enable it deliver on its agenda. So if the APC reads that the SE does not want the Presidency or does not have the capacity to help them win and keep power, they will stick with the regions that can and work with individuals who are interested.
We are not talking about grilling vultures here.

For peace to reign they tinkered with the law and allowed AD to be registered so that the Southwest healing process can be completed since they had adopted the AD as their own political party.

But some leaders of this same Southwest today are not willing to make a single sacrifice towards the healing of a section of this country that is bleeding. They now want everything for themselves. The rest of Nigerians can go and die.

2023 is the only chance Nigerians have to bury the ghost of the civil war by ensuring that equity and fairness guides the political parties into choosing Igbo men as Presidential flagbearers.

If Tinubu and Osinbajo love this country, they should choose its corporate existence over their ill guided ambitions.

The Southwest was settled in 1999. The Southeast should be settled in 2023.

psychalade:
Your number one reason about Tinubu being the brain behind touting in Lagos is grossly flawed, I don't know how old you are or how long you have been in Lagos. I don't really know when touting problems started in Lagos but it existed during the time of sagari and PA Awolowo politics, people on this forum might be able to give their eye witness account of activities of touts at lawanson, ilasamaja, idiaraba, iponri, obalende, Yaba, itire, mushin olosa etc, there is a particular tout gang leader along itire road called "asorowo" the guy was very ruthless with Danfo drivers, some of them when caught with, loosing ears and hands in confrontations with his boys because the driver refused to drop the 20 kobo levy back then, those were the days when "Ake UTC" became popular in Lagos it was the overthrow of the sagari regime by buhari and idiagbon and the lunching of the war against Indiscipline program that brought some semblance of sanity to Lagos roads back then and to be honest there is no state in Nigeria where the problem of touting does not exist. Why is tinubu being singled out for attack, It's not only him that brought buhari to power why are the others not been discussed? huh
Thank you for trying to give some historical background to the touting menace...

But you see why I’m indicting Tinubu? By 1999, it was obvious that the world was entering a new era and some certain elements can no longer be tolerated in our society like those touts.

Now, when Tinubu came to power, was he not supposed to see to it that their menace ends once and for all? He didn’t do that. He rather embraced them and gave them backbone upon which they stand till this day.

Now as metropolitan as Lagos is, touts still fill its streets. Is it supposed to be so?

I might be wrong but I’m not sure there’s anywhere in Nigeria that you can find something similar to what happens in Lagos. And if you are sincere with yourself you would agree with me.

When Peter Obi came to power in Anambra, Upper Iweka was a no go area. He made sure he dislodged the irritants there. He didn’t embrace them and gave them portfolios.
