A plaza?..How na?..Lol. Do you want the devil to slap your mouth.
I think you guys have comprehension issues.
How can you compare the lucrativeness, large scale economic benefits, manufacturing demands, employment opportunities, chains of supply, forex, etc that Ajaokuta steel when returned to full operation would generate for the country. Dangote refinery pales in comparison to Ajaokuta steel if not for systemic corruption which has bedeviled it.

-Viper
Ajaokuta Steel was built in 1982.

Since then till today, it has not produced a single steel rod.

Where does it then make its money from that made it lucrative to you?

Please explain the route cus I've tried to Imagine this
The idiot does not even know the map of Nigeria.

AKK is running from Abuja to Kaduna to Kano and upper north.

How would it now link to Imo that is close to 1000 kilometers away from Abuja?

You see some of the people we have on Nairaland are very foolish, uneducated and either uninformed or misinformed.

Where are the village chestbeaters saying "No amount of gas would be taken from iboland"?
Tell those toothless mofos that this gas is going all the way to Kaduna. How about that?.
The gas in Alaigbo would be used to revitalize the manufacturing hub in Kaduna and Kano.
Una go serve North taya.

-Viper
So it is no longer that the “southeast is a barren land”...

The narrative has changed to “they are piping your gas to Kaduna”. Lol.

God keeps disgracing the enemies of Southeast.

I thought that stupid mentality was dead long time ago.

It was a shock to see possibly a young person expressing such thought.

If the rest of Nigeria is segregating against us, we Igbos should not also be segregating against ourselves by stratifying ourselves into “Ndi Wawa” and “Ndi Agbaelu”.

Such stupid thinking go to justify Umahi’s comments that if Biafra comes, the Ebonyi man, Nsukka man, Nkanu man, will suffer as he will be discriminated against.

Don’t wait until Southeast gets the presidency before you step down.

Step down and support the Southeast to get the presidency if you so much love the Southeast.

First it was Dokpesi talking about Atiku stepping down for Southeast after one term.

Now, Doyin Okupe talking about stepping down if Southeast gets the presidency.

All these rhetorics about Southeast shows that they all know it’s the turn of the Southeast but ojukokoro won’t let them leave for us what is ours.

But how would you blame them when Tinubu is leading the way?

Politics › Re: Wikipedia Puts Tinubu’s Age At 79 On Daughter’s Page After Multiple Edits - FIJ by Penguin2: 7:43am On Jan 25, 2022
Protecting a lie is one of the hardest things in life.

If you tell one lie, you must have to tell about seven more lies to cover the first lie. And for each of the seven lies, you’d have to tell about seven lies to cover them up and so it keeps multiplying.

Another thing like is murder.

Once you commit murder. You’d discover that to cover up the murder, you might have to kill more people just to cover for the first.

Tinubu tried to reduce his age to 69. But before then the world already knew his daughter is 60.

Now the only solution is to also get the daughter to lie too.

And the child after the daughter would also have to adjust his or her age too so that everything will match.

Now they are all family of liars.

Give them access to Aso Rock and they’d make it a seat of lies.

1) I constructed 22 roads in Alimosho and refused to award any of the contracts to Aregbesola and co.

2) I insisted that contracts that had been awarded to party leaders under Fashola must be executed before they can be awarded new contracts under my regime.

3) I wanted to phase out Danfos and Area boys from the streets of Lagos and introduce smarter means of transportation without Area boys and Agberos.

4) I refused to pad the budget with 10% for the house of assembly members led by Bayo Osinowo and Mudashir Obasa.

5) I refused to grant the concession of 4th mainland bridge to Tinubu’s Hitech

6) I refused to increase the amount of money being paid from the state revenue to Tinubu through Alpha Beta from 10% to 20%

7) I developed Epe. Epe was never in their master plan.

I refused to support Aregbesola and Bayo Osinowo’s senatorial ambitions because they are not Lagosians.

9) I refused to use Lagos state funds to finance Osun elections.
And they were all true.

But Tinubu urchins all over Nairaland are too stupid to admit this obvious truth.

asanausana91:
then why for 22 years PDP had never chose an Igbo man as it presidential candidate?
Because the calculation and time was not yet right.

Obasanjo was PDP first president in 1999. He was there for 8 years.

Now after Obasanjo, would it be right for PDP to give ticket to another southerner in the name of the Igbos?

When it came to choosing VP for Yaradua in 2007, PDP chose national cohesion over party loyalty by choosing Goodluck Jonathan from Southsouth as Vice President which was to help douse the tension of Niger Delta militants which was threatening the corporate existence then.

By an act of God, Yaradua died in office and GEJ succeeded him. To show we are not power mongers we were his greatest supporters until Buhari and Tinubu took him out in 2015 with underage voters.

Now tell me, when should PDP have give the Igbo ticket and failed to do so? Because you people as though you are just bunch of....

so what did Ojukwu did to you that you rejected him like that in 2003 election.
Because unlike what you people accuse us of, we are not clannish and tribal bigots down here.

Ojukwu has his place in our history, granted.

But that does not mean we are to be tied to his apron for life even when it doesn’t make sense.

We are very objective people who always put the altruistic good of the whole over the relative satisfaction of the particular.

Reason we are sometimes the most vociferous about killings in Southern Kaduna, Plateau and Benue. And I’m sure some of you would be wondering why we are like that.

Same with Nnamdi Kanu... you might think we are following him blindly but let him veer off his line and you will see that IPOB violence is a mirage to our collective resolve.

So, in 2003, we voted Obasanjo, a Yoruba, over Ojukwu because we believe that by the principle of justice, Obasanjo should do his 8 years and that our own turn will come.

Unfortunately, it’s now our turn and our greatest challengers are the Yoruba.

Are you not bothered that Lagos, a metropolitan city still has its streets filled by touts who collect both legal and illegal dues; including for carrying long things on the bike?

Does it not bother you that Alpha Beta, a private company is collecting Lagos Revenue and pocketing 10 percent on monthly basis? Something Lagos Board of Internal Revenue should be doing.

Are you not bothered that Tinubu’s son is the sole authority when it comes to advertising in Lagos state?

Are you not bothered that Tinubu’s daughter is the Iyaloja General of Lagos charging arbitrary fees on peasant traders?

It depends on his values as well as his personality. I heard that rather than what's been circulated that Tinubu helped him, he used him. When Tinubu was approached for Osinbajo to become VP, he was opposed to it but after much pressure, he reluctantly agreed. I heard that their relationship has not been the same afterwards.
I’ve read something like it too.

But that story is still sketchy.

If Tinubu didn’t nominate Osinbajo how did they now find him out?

Because if anything, Osinbajo had gone out of reckon since they left office in 2007.

Which platform gan gan?

And saying he gave IPOB platform for “propaganda” is actually an insult.

Because he’s insinuating that what IPOB has been doing is engaging in “propaganda”; which is an erroneous assertion.

IPOB is not a propaganda organization. They are an organization fighting for justice, equity, fairness and truth.

Every statement that has ever emanated from them has been truth and no propaganda.

I suggest Atiku takes this man away from his campaign before he destroys it with careless statements.
