Six months later, and Joe Biden still goes about his business like an election didn’t happen in Nigeria. Meanwhile he has congratulated Boakai of Liberia and the Outsider who won in Argentina? The question is as straightforward as the headline; why is the world avoiding Tinubu? After Tinubu was rigged in, only Rishi Sunak (for reasons best known to him) posted a congratulatory message to him. But Mr Sunak has avoided meeting with Tinubu ever since then. Same with the United States…. It was on the morning after INEC’s abracadabra that a deputy spokesperson (you read that right, a deputy spokesperson) in the office of Department of State that congratulated “Nigeria for a successful election and the winner (in passing).” Almost 6 months since Tinubu was declared, Joe Biden, the president of the United States of America, has carried on his business as though nothing happened. Not a single word of congratulation to Tinubu nor has he met with him even after it had been publicized that Biden would meet Tinubu at the last UNGA. I cited these two leaders because they are the two most important and powerful leaders in the world and Nigeria is a strategic partner of both the US and the UK which makes these countries not joke with whoever is her president. But that seems to have changed since Tinubu came in. And the question is why? Away from the US and UK, not even the Chinese President has sent a word of congratulations to Tinubu since he was rigged in, nor has he met with him. Recall that China’s partnership with Nigeria has soared in recent years due to the previous governments decision to borrow a lot of loans from China and Chinese lenders. Again, the question is why is Xi Jinping avoiding Tinubu? Same thing goes for whenever he attends global events to represent Nigeria, rarely do we see other world leaders gravitating towards him. No world leader is ever interested in a personal photograph with him or anything. The photographs that Tinubu appear in are only group photographs where they usually place him at the edge of the line even though he is not tall. Again I ask, why? I’m sure Tinubu thought that Supreme Court’s embarrassment of themselves to uphold the sham that brought him in would have helped his image a little but the nonsense only gave him legality but not legitimacy and the global community is aware. So, why is the world avoiding Tinubu? Or do you have contrary prove that the world isn’t ? This question is necessary because if the world continue to avoid Tinubu like plague like they are currently doing, nobody would wanna invest in Nigeria again because of the terrible image that he represents. What has Nigeria done to herself 🤦? |
naijapips04:Well, that you can’t see a road constructed by Obi in his father’s village is enough to prove to you that Obi is not your everyday kind of politician who plays clannish politics of “my people first”. Obi was too preoccupied trying to provide what will serve the generality of Ndi Anambra that he forgot to construct the road in his father’s village (supposing he did). That’s why Anambra people love him with their blood. |
The nightmare of Agbado RONUs is the coming together of Atiku and Peter Obi under one ticket again or under whatever arrangement. But from reality on ground, that alliance is becoming inevitable. That Tinubu was able to be rigged in was because Obi was on the ballot. But was Obi wrong to contest the last election? No. Because by so doing, Obi has become a factor in Nigerian politics that no idiot would dare try to tell Atiku not to choose Obi as running mate. As things stand, Atiku would even have a hard time convincing Obi to be his running mate. Or alternatively, stupid Kwankwaso would eventually come back in shame to become running mate to Obi after his stupidity in the last election. Had Obi not contested the last election and Atiku won with Southeast votes, fools would have attributed his victory to Okowa’s shrewdness and all those nonsense. But now everyone knows who the main man is when it comes to Southern politics. Happy birthday Atiku! |
Stale! Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed already made it clear that even if Tinubu appoints his entire family, he would still not stop calling him a drug lord. Tinubu can carry on with his tomfoolery, the LP, Obidients and sane Nigerians are unmoved. Ndi ala😏 |
Isn’t it ironic that it is the past chairman of NBA, Olumide Akpata, that is wading into the controversy and demanding answers on behalf practicing lawyers. While the supposed current NBA chairman, stupid Maikyau (or whatever his name is) is more interested in shuttling between his office and Aso Rock with his okpolo eyes. One thing I know is that something drastic will happen in this country, and very soon. |
aswani:Yeah! That’s what you lots want, you do all atrocities and expect everyone to move on and never remember it happened. Then by next election you repeat the same thing and you come out again and ask people to forget it happened and move on again. And you expect sane people to follow you to do that nonsense. Never! Tinubu is illegitimate He didn’t win the election. We saw result sheets altered like primary school children writing book. Rivers State was called for Tinubu when he barely scored 25% of votes. INEC shut down IREV that would ensured transparency. INEC officers could no longer transmit election results due to deliberate sabotage from INEC headquarters. And you want us to move on and support Tinubu. I’m sure it’s malaria that is disturbing you. Because look, even if I’m the last man standing, I will never ever accept Tinubu as president nor support any rubbish he does in the name of stupid ‘patriotism’. |
Fool! You don’t like ingrates because you are the only one that voted for him in Rivers. I thought you wrote results and said he was voted by Rivers people? If he was indeed voted for by Rivers people, why do you want him to be subservient to you in perpetuity? If you want to be a godfather go to Lagos, that’s where such rubbish works. |
Pakute:As you know am wella, where is he from?🤔 |
ValarDoharis:Chris Nwokobia is from Kogi State |
APC and INEC has midwifed the writing of results into our electoral system again. They are happy about it; just like their RONU supporters. But the same writing of results that they are gloating about, will be their undoing tomorrow. What goes around comes around. |
Pakute:So, Chris Nwokobia from Kogi is now Igbo? Tomorrow when we say there Igbos in Kogi State you will say Igbos have come. I hope you get healed from this equivocation someday. |
Makunahatata:You need proof to see that courts in Nigeria have consistently said that party membership is an internal party affair until it got to the Kano Governorship case? Why is the court dabbling into internal party affair of the NNPP in Kano State? |
Feintline:Especially in the judiciary. We can forgive the Executives and Legislatures for being politicians. But the Judiciary must never be compromised. We should draw the line there |
There’s always somebody somewhere ready to administer the antidote to madness. We have formed #OpenJusticeAlliance to bring together forces interested in fighting the capture of the judiciary in #Nigeria & with it the destruction of the idea of justice for #Nigerians: @citizen_gavel; @TapNitiative; @CivicHive; @NULAINigeria; @mindsethttps://twitter.com/chidiodinkalu/status/1728005706643611924?s=46&t=2AB_wrBea-oBYJf5ZCFV-A Nlfpmod |
If Obi was president, by now, the last bandit enclave would have been set on fire. Those social irritants would have faced both arial and ground bombardments from wherever they are. Both some northerners and their stakeholders preferred Tinubu to be rigged in than for Obi, who won the election, to rule Nigeria. Let them enjoy the product of their choice. |
benuejosh:Which one does Benue produce 🤔? I know you and your ilk are pained that southeast is doing well without your Federal Government. |
Lol! I said it the other time that “APC will see what they are looking for in Nigeria” and it will happen. Court is of Appeal in Obi’s case already ruled that party membership is an internal party affair and is non-justiciable. Same court yesterday affirmed the election of Cross River governor who is an APC member and reiterated that party membership is an internal party affair. But months later, a lower Tribunal and same Court of Appeal are sacking Kano governor because he was not a Member of NNPP as of the time of election. Such stupid contradictions. Meanwhile RONU crooners are cheering their paymasters on to destruction. Instead of telling Tinubu to leave Kano people and their governor. Leave Plateau and their governor Leave Zamfara people and their governor Leave Abia people and their governor. If not, Wetin una dey find, una go see am sharp sharp o Don’t say you weren’t warned. |
Macphenson:Lol! Agbado RONUs will be having chest pain right now. They thought Fubara, an Igbo man, will tolerate the kind of nonsense that people in that their region tolerate. Baba Sope politics cannot work in any State in Southeast and Southsouth. Obaseki was first to cut his own chimpanzee to size. Now Fubara is shredding Wike. If only Ambode had balls🤦 |
Padipadi:Try not to be skipping your meds bro. |
I hope APC find what they are looking for. Interesting that 1 of the judges on the Kano Governorship Court of Appeal Panel judgment scandal is a nephew of the current CJN from Iseyin who was only appointed to @CourtOfAppealNG earlier this year & sworn in on 20 Sept. Don't take my word. Pls verify. This is the report of the swearing in with 9 other new Justices of Appeal on 20 Sept, also including the son-in-law of the current President of the Court of Appeal.Chidi Odinkalu On Twitter

It’s simple, if APC and Supreme Court doesn’t want this country to burn, they should just uphold Abba Gida Gilda’s election. But if they think otherwise, they can stretch their luck.😏 |
Padipadi:Why not say life ban since you are sure it will deny me of oxygen and withdraw money from my bank account. Nonsense 😏 |
Padipadi:They fabricated a CTC issued by the Appeal Court? Has Appeal Court denied issuing the judgment? Has it? |
emperor863:If you have sense, the last thing you would want is for pro-APC group to join that protest. Because the moment they do, things are bound to turn violent and snowball into something you lots would never have imagined. But you can put them in the street if you care. |
damkin24:You should said “I hate to hear the truth” or “the truth irritates me”.😏 |
Lol Revolution will start in the north - Dele Farotimi. Tinubu is playing with fire. The idiot didn’t win the election and he knows he didn’t win the election; that he’s on weak mandate. He’s not popular in the North. Not popular in the South. And non-existent in the East. A little conflagration and he will be consumed. Yet the fool keeps stretching his luck. This is how we always shout. Like we shouted that Buhari should not be voted for in 2015 that he’s a daft, you voted for him and he turned out a disaster. While he was in power we kept trying to bring him back on track and fools kept defending his stupidity only to be crying 6 months after he left office. Everything we have warned about always comes to pass. That’s how we are warning Tinubu now. Stop trying to corrupt everything. Leave Kano and the governor they voted. Leave Zamfara and the governor they voted. Leave Plateau people with the governor they chose for themselves. Don’t stretch your luck too far. Anything that makes the north enter the street and the Igbos join them, it’s game over for Tinubu o. But you can continue to live in denial like you always do. |
Burob:So why is Southwest not better than Dubai?🤔 |
Kwankwaso is a fool. An ant 🐜 that thought himself an elephant 🐘. He called Obedients Andrews Livers Salt but today he and his entire political system are worse than Andrews Liver Salt. Idiot would have been Vice President by now if not for his stupidity and tribal bigotry and ethnic jingoism. If not that I don’t support injustice I would said let them take that Kano from him. Onye ala! |
Helinus:We didn’t lose though “They stole the election”😏 And we will never allow them enjoy it in peace. |
Lol I’m sure the poor judges already prepared their judgment affirming the Kano governor to deliver and the APC criminal government threatened them with DSS few days before judgment and they had to declare whatever they were asked to declare. But to declare their innocence and clear their conscience, they’ve gone ahead to make public, their initial judgment. Same rubbish happened at the PEPT. Same rubbish happened at the Supreme Court. Criminal Tinubu and his gang of criminals want to destroy whatever Buhari forgot to destroy. I’m just wondering if these guys think we will just standby and watch them destroy everything? Like Dele Farotimi have always said, “Revolution will start in the north.” Let the Supreme Court sustain that Appeal Court stupidity in Kano and let’s see what happens next. Fools! |
