aswani:“President Tinubu people” You, who are you? |
aswani:I’m sure RONU wey of thinking has affected you. Which of what I said is not about Edo election? Or did you see me say any of the parties should give their ticket to an Igbo man to govern Edo? Where’s this trash coming from? |
garfield1:PDP and LP is massively popular in Edo, APC is not. |
Whoever wins the next American election will determine how the 2027 elections in Nigeria will be. That’s why I want Trump to win. A Trump will not tolerate a drug baron rigging himself back to power again. May Trump succeed! Maybe they will send MC Oluomo to help rig for Biden. |
Dee Sam Mbakwe Michael Okpara These men were ahead of their time and had a great foresight. I’m sure that road was constructed by Sam Mbakwe and that big gutter was built in expectation of population boom which eventually happened. But because subsequent leaders were goats, they couldn’t build new roads nor take care of what has been built already. I’m happy the Obidient wave swept them away from Abia. If that’s the only thing we gained, then so be it. Ndi ala! |
Zeezeal7:Lol! You know the thing is that Benue APC thought Fr Alia was a political neophyte that they can remote control as they wish but they got it wrong. This is a Catholic priest; with a degree in Philosophy and Theology. Studying philosophy is like studying all the fathers of political science and power. Machiavelli, Marx, and any other school of thought that these politicians subscribe to were all philosophers and you can’t study philosophy without reading their books and theories. Add that to lessons from the Catholic Church’s struggle with power right from when they were in control of all of Europe through the crusades. In a nutshell, Benue APC chose the wrong specimen for their experiment and they will have their noses burnt. I just pray Alia succeeds in Benue. I was expecting him to be doing what Otti is doing in Abia but I’ve not seen something like that from Benue. Or maybe the media is not reporting it. |
aswani:In summary, you lots are looking for who will share the money. I get it. |
garfield1:Continue taking by force. One day monkey go go market, e no go return. Or you think you lots will do this rubbish without response from the people forever? |
garfield1:In the next Edo election, APC will come third. Remind me after the election. |
Zeezeal7:Don’t mind them… From what I’ve seen, wherever Alia goes, that’s where Benue people will go. So, if APC pushes him away, Otilo for them. |
aswani:What is of paramount importance to you? A governor that is fluent in Esan? Or a governor with the pedigree to make Edo work? |
atiku4President:They desperately want to cage Fr Alia. That’s why they want to take this guy out. Benue APC is forgetting that without Fr Alia they would have come a distant third. Foolish people |
aswani:You people joke too much. PDP will win Edo Governorship election while LP will come second. The guy that Obaseki is projecting is loaded and qualified in all ramification to be the next governor of Edo state. Edo people will not vote APC even Jesus is their flagbearer. |
Bigkoko:Lol! Unfortunately the guys who are profiting from Nigeria as it is would not let that happen. If they could let that happen then they would have allow Obi have his mandate. Or you think Tinubu rigged the election without their consent? They already decided they would give it to him before the election. That’s why Nigerians needs to do something drastic to take Nigeria from these vultures. And unlike you, I do not believe that Nigeria needs to be unbundled for it to work. My conviction is that once we have the right guy as president, you will see Nigeria reset and start working. All we need is some full proof set of laws that nobody can manipulate nor misinterpret especially as it regards election and handling of finances and contracts and you see this country on the path of growth. |
What about those parading themselves as Sarkin Hausa? |
It becomes disturbing when an agency of government that is supposed to serve every people and tribe in Nigeria chooses to run a propaganda against one people for no reason. The Police tried to set the Igbos up as those responsible for the many kidnappings in Abuja but being the fools they are, because they are managed by fools, they couldn’t even get that right as well. When they were bursted they now added Michael and Okoye to Chinaza Philip. But no Igbo uses 2 English names at the same time. I wonder what they will say now that victims are confirming that their captors spoke Hausa and Yoruba. Jokers😏 |
Bigkoko:No. Ebonyi governor is young, vibrant and built differently. He’s not a kind of guy that would not take the development of Southeast seriously. Same with the Enugu guy. I don’t like him, but Peter Mbah seems to mean business as well. Especially as you know that he seems to understand that he has something to prove to Enugu people after they refused to vote for him. Maybe only Soludo and Uzodimma will backslide on such venture but I doubt they would. Forget their outward dispositions, they understand what’s up. About Supreme Court sacking Fubara…, the easiest way to set Nigeria on fire is for Supreme Court to sack Fubara. They already averted the conflagration that would have happened in Kano by allowing Abba have his mandate. They had better done the same in Rivers or they would be lighting a fire that no one knows how long, or far, it would burn. They can try if they want to. |
Which confusion? I’m not confused one bit nor am I surprised. Tinubu simply wants to nationalize Owomida and at same breath recruit boys for election. Remember that MC Oluomo is currently unemployed…. I’m sure he will be their leader. I already prepared my mind for the worst under Tinubu, so, not shocks me anymore. |
munavi:So which company gained 🤔? The ones that packed up and left Nigeria?🤔 |
Anytime I remember I could have bet my testicles that nobody can be worse than Buhari, I always thank God I didn’t go through with the bet. It’s been loss loss since this Bulaba grabbed power. Sorry, Nigeria 😏 |
Bigkoko:I don’t know how reliable that piece of information is, but I saw somewhere that Eastern governors, including Sim of Rivers, are planning a speed rail that would connect major cities of the Southeast and Port Harcourt. So, it’s obvious that Sim is not about to toe the path of foolishness like Wike; and there’s little to nothing Wike can do. The only game I’m suspecting Wike wants to play is to sack Sim through the Supreme Court. But if Supreme Court sacks Sim and enthrones Tonye Cole (Amaechi’s boy), then Wike will still be fried. |
ILoveNG:Don’t go back to this fact checking joke you guys engaged in during the election please. I call it a joke because sometimes if Obi says the number is 50, you lots will go on nonsense fact check and come back to say Obi was wrong because the number is actually 49. Is that what you want me to engage in again? Nahhh! We are talking about who abhors statistics more, and not silly fact check. |
This should be fake news. I doubt the screening process has begun for any of the major political parties. Screening, primaries and all should happen ending of February. So when was Afegbua screened out by APC?? |
ILoveNG:If there’s any group that abhours statistics, it is actually you and the man you like to adore. You people started with doubting ANAP Foundation statistics. You doubted BantuPage Statistics. You doubted Stears Statistics. You ridiculed Obi’s quotation of statistics at many fora. And you culminated it when your lord and saviour asked, “na statistics we go chop” and you supported and amplified it, didn’t you? Pray, tell us when we have ever abhorred statistics in the level I’ve enunciated for you now. I’ll wait! |
Shame on those who like to amplify everything they perceive as wrong in the southeast in a bid to drive investors away from the East. If a pregnant woman spits, they will report it with a sensational headline as though the Southeast was on fire. If a goat 🐐 stays in Labour beyond the period it should, their propaganda machine will report that the southeast has been set ablaze. But despite all this, the truth always comes out and proves that the Southeast is the safest region in the country; and it has been so for almost the last ten years or even more. That’s why I like what Alex Otti is doing in Abia. Now, he has taken bad PR away from Aba. Very soon investors will start trooping into Aba and all their agenda will come to nought. You can’t curse a covenant people!👌 |
seunmsg:I’m still waiting for the evidence of congratulatory message from Joe Biden, Xi Jinping, etc, to Tinubu. And talking about German Chancellor, the only reason the man came here was to tell Tinubu to get ready to accept Nigerian deportees from Germany. That’s all. But even if, who is Germany in global politics? |
Rossikk:You haven’t answered mine |
immortalcrown:You think it’s pointless that world leaders are avoiding Tinubu? If these leaders are avoiding Tinubu because they do not want to identify with him, tell me how investors from their countries would wanna do business or bring their investments to Nigeria? |
Rossikk:How did you come to the conclusion that this was a lie? |
Six months later, and Joe Biden still goes about his business like an election didn’t happen in Nigeria. Meanwhile he has congratulated Boakai of Liberia and the Outsider who won in Argentina? The question is as straightforward as the headline; why is the world avoiding Tinubu? After Tinubu was rigged in, only Rishi Sunak (for reasons best known to him) posted a congratulatory message to him. But Mr Sunak has avoided meeting with Tinubu ever since then. Same with the United States…. It was on the morning after INEC’s abracadabra that a deputy spokesperson (you read that right, a deputy spokesperson) in the office of Department of State that congratulated “Nigeria for a successful election and the winner (in passing).” Almost 6 months since Tinubu was declared, Joe Biden, the president of the United States of America, has carried on his business as though nothing happened. Not a single word of congratulation to Tinubu nor has he met with him even after it had been publicized that Biden would meet Tinubu at the last UNGA. I cited these two leaders because they are the two most important and powerful leaders in the world and Nigeria is a strategic partner of both the US and the UK which makes these countries not joke with whoever is her president. But that seems to have changed since Tinubu came in. And the question is why? Away from the US and UK, not even the Chinese President has sent a word of congratulations to Tinubu since he was rigged in, nor has he met with him. Recall that China’s partnership with Nigeria has soared in recent years due to the previous governments decision to borrow a lot of loans from China and Chinese lenders. Again, the question is why is Xi Jinping avoiding Tinubu? Same thing goes for whenever he attends global events to represent Nigeria, rarely do we see other world leaders gravitating towards him. No world leader is ever interested in a personal photograph with him or anything. The photographs that Tinubu appear in are only group photographs where they usually place him at the edge of the line even though he is not tall. Again I ask, why? I’m sure Tinubu thought that Supreme Court’s embarrassment of themselves to uphold the sham that brought him in would have helped his image a little but the nonsense only gave him legality but not legitimacy and the global community is aware. So, why is the world avoiding Tinubu? Or do you have contrary prove that the world isn’t ? This question is necessary because if the world continue to avoid Tinubu like plague like they are currently doing, nobody would wanna invest in Nigeria again because of the terrible image that he represents. What has Nigeria done to herself 🤦? |
naijapips04:Well, that you can’t see a road constructed by Obi in his father’s village is enough to prove to you that Obi is not your everyday kind of politician who plays clannish politics of “my people first”. Obi was too preoccupied trying to provide what will serve the generality of Ndi Anambra that he forgot to construct the road in his father’s village (supposing he did). That’s why Anambra people love him with their blood. |
