I don’t agree on some you have put out there. Our leaders are just lazy and lack creativity. When I go to Tesco in uk to purchase some fruits like bananas and cucumber, I dares say ours is better than what they sell here in the UK. Question is when signing trade deals, why can’t we push our products for export and try to increase output here in Nigeria. All they do is to travel without impact. We can do a lot in agriculture , we can rebuild our educational system such that we can be able to export talent to the world taking a leaf from India this will increase Nigeria remittances.

We don’t railway system all over the country at the moment in my opinion, rather build to targets areas where we make product for export.

But we do need railway. Railways and trains would be needed when the Government decides to end fuel subsidy.
Use of trains cannot be over emphasised. Tell me any developed country that doesn't have a working railway.

And for agriculture, the Government first need to improve it's security. Any policy the Government takes on agriculture will be useless if the farmers are not secured in the farmland.

Buhari's government have invested the most in agriculture, but we can't see the output cos our farmers are getting killed by bandits....
For ever farmer that is killed, so is 100 of bags of rice or beans or maize or onions.

You can’t jump to the bank for borrowing if your earnings is poor. Currently we earn too little and only way out is to look for what to sell to the international community to earn foreign exchange.

For now oil is only what we can sell. And even if we wanted to invest in other resources, we'll need money to do that. We need our roads, railway, electricity to be available so even outsiders can come and invest.. And how do we do this when we don't have don't have the money

He will have to pay subsidy (since you all want cheap fuel). He must pay salary. He will definitely have to allow the senators to pad the budget else they won't sign it. Same thing happened to Buhari. He must pay salary. He must spend money on securing the nation. He must do this and that. After doing all these what else is remaining to save?

Any politician that promises to end subsidy is who I will follow no matter who it is. Whether it is Atiku or Tinubu
It is when you enter sit that you'll know that Nigeria is broke.. Forget all this money you're hearing politicians are looting. When you'll get there you'll see that even if they don't loot one kobo, the difference will still not be that much...

Buhari could swear to Allah that Nigeria was the richest country when he wasn't in office. But when he got there shey he was the one that said Nigeria is broke?
When Fashola was not there he boasted that 6 months was enough to end light problem in Nigeria. But see where we are now.

No matter who the next President is in Nigeria, if oil price doesn't get to at least $120 per barrel, he will seem clueless for about 2-3 years before any of his policies start to work. And 2 years is enough for us impatient Nigerians to write any President off as clueless and useless..

So the only candidate I'll support is the one that not only tells us what he'll do but how he'll accomplish it. It's not about telling us you'll give us constant power, but how will he get the money to do it.
And and candidate that say it with his full chest that he won't borrow is a no no for me.. Cos he has already lied.

They have to be paid, and they have to recoup their investment. Nothing goes for nothing.

We don't have a working power sector because power tarrifs are controlled by government. And kept low so that 'poor benefit'. As a result...no profit, and there is a lot of loss in the sector.

Whereas, I can type this from anywhere because GSM companies and ISP's do not have their prices controlled by government (excpet Ntel, the GSM subsidary of Nitel which collapsed as a result...too many loses. Now rebranding as a private ISP ).....and made enough profit to build all the stuff they need to give us phone and internet service...and here we are.

Allow the DISCOS and GENCOS make a profit while giving us power...and we need not call China, or any global power.

The problem is will they invest when they know people won't be able to patronise them?

And don't say they'll only generat power that people would be willing to buy. They will run at a loss if they do that. Cos even if people buy or not, they'll still have expenses and bills to pay. So they'll need a lot of customers to make profit

It happened back then when I was in boarding school ( secondary school).

I didn’t know my closest friends were against me getting the Senior Prefect post. It was later I realized that they even voted against me.

But people I barely knew in the school, both older and younger voted for me. We were two finalists.

The other guys parents were royalty. His father is one of the prominent kings in Aba. I never had much. I couldn’t even bother my mom too much then. My dad was late and she shouldered all the responsibilities of raising 5 of us.

But I won.
I was made the SP and that was when jealousy started.
