bettercreature:Militancy in this part of the world has nothing to do with the masses. All we are seeing is the handwork of a few hungry and greedy boys who think they can milk something out of the situation. Settle everyone one of them and see how the whole noice will die down abruptly. FG needs to initiate a sound agends that will address the situation in the niger delta. The people there deserve better than what they are getting but no criminal should speak on behalf of the people. |
Nairalanders, how did ethnicism and tribal bigotry get the better of us? These group of people are nothing but attention seekers and trouble makers. They dont have the interest of any tribe in mind. Their ulterior motive is to twist the nation into lining their pockets with undeserved share of the national cake. We have seen all these happen before and it is about to happen again. Crimianal groups seeking attention everywhere. Nairalanders/Nigerians, wake up and dont allow these people deceive you with their hogwash interest. Asari dokubo, Ateke tom, Tompolo, Gani adams, fasheun etc where are all these people? They are all billionaires and how has that help to alleviate the sufferings of an average nigerian on the street, be it in the south south, south west, south east, North east and all around. Nigerians should wake up and demand for accountability and justice, not putting your destiny in the hands of a few decietful and criminal fighters who call themselves freedom fighters or what not. Let us demand that PMB give us purposeful leadership devoid of sentiment or whatever. Nigerians are wiser now. The destiny of this country lies in our hands and not in the hands of hungry, selfish hooligans. We have been there before and we certainly learnt a lesson. It is time we move forward and move the nation along. God bless nigeria and all nigerians. |
Will loving the igbo help the economy? He can hate all the tribes in nigeria for all i care. Fix the gaddamn economy is all that matters!!! |
ademoladeji:Well said. If only all parties would heed to this short and simple advice, all this mess would end abruptly. |
My mum is the best that happened to me. Happy mothers day. |
rayralph:The ruby version you installed might be older than 2.1.5. Install newer edition and ensure you download your metasploit directly from rapid 7 github repositry. |
Has anyone noticed the lingering silence of all the governors as regards this fulani herdsmen issue? The other time a governor was in crocodile tears and declaring fasting. Something tells me the governors have a stake in these cattle business or they are scared if they move against fulani herdsmen grazing, they might step on toes. Cant these governors meets and arrive at a lasting solution to this problem. When did cattle grazing become a FG jurisdiction. If na to share excess crude account they will quickly gather under their useless governor's forum. These crimes happen under their jurisdiction, they should be the first point of call. |
kropotkin11:If the masai tribe in kenya and the cowboys in texas accept ranching, who are the fulanis to reject them. A solution is the immediate disarmament of all herdsmen in the country, proper registration of every one of them, their nomadic style of grazing should be abolished, the southern governors should encourage their agro-entrepeneurs to invest in animal grazing that is ranching based. The fulanis herdsmen will be left with no choice but to equally embrace ranching. For now, they feed on our farm produce and feed us their meat. Who loses? |
If we are going to do away with the states, then the overbloated senate should also follow. What the country needs is proper economic restructuring and management. Is it not amazing that non of the oil producing states has major stakes in the oil and gas industry. Same goes to the northern states, hectares and hectares of fertile land stretching from maiduguri to benue and non has huge, sizeable investments in rice, flour etc Yet we import these foods. The origin of this problem has to do with the purpose for which the states were created. Many of them were not created to open up the economic potentials locked within the states, but to appease the geopolitical greed and desire that existed among our leaders. Hoping that oil will continue to fund the wasteful entities that were created. For the past twenty years, military administrators and governors have become lazy and drunk on petro dollars. Reality stares them in the face, eye don clear. |
stexsy:My thoughts too. How did a person with a serious medical condition like this get into the police. Imagine if he was armed with a rifle and the seizure occurs. I dont want to imagine what might happen next. Nigeria, where are we headin? |
Cross river and akwa ibom are going to be first investment destinations in the niger delta few years from now. Let the likes of rivers, bayelsa and delta continue to turn their zones into war theatre. Maturity and right thinking is what is required to ignite properity not militancy and cultism. |
The approach of this group is what gives concern. In all of this, it is the communities that will suffer as both the militants and FG care less about their wellbeing. PMB will do well to make public a developmental plan devoid of the amnesty rubbish that characterised the last governments. The fundamental issues concerning the region should be approached with sincerity and the criminals dealt with decisively. I stand by my word that majority of those that constitute this group were once beneficiaries of the amnesty fraud. They simply got greedier and want more. How is that an agitation that is justified. Nonsense!!! |
How much does a complete DJI 2 cost? |
If we had started this project in 2012, by next year 2017 the country would be preparing to commision the power plant. For good sixteen years, we had a PDP government that was bereft of ideas, led by greedy demons who can never be of any good to hell. We will surely get there. |
I continue to say it, politicians and the nigerian police contribute 80 percent of nigeria's problem. Wherever u see a politician, you see a policeman. Patners in crime. |
I can guaranty that 80% of those that make up this NGA group have been beneficiaries of the amnesty fraud. So long as the neglect and oil pollution in the niger delta is not resolved, we would continue to have criminals masquerading as niger delta fighters. Where are those who fraudulently recieved the largesse of amnesy? The likes of dokubo and tompolo. There is injustice in the niger delta and criminals have taken over the struggle. |
If the nigerian police are 40 percent up and doing by carrying out the duty they are to perform, the society will be a better place. |
The nigerian police force is 50 percent responsible for the decay in moral decadence of our society. Very uncultured, indiscipline, inhuman, corrupt etc. This morning, a trailer moving goods into lagos broke down at berger junction. You would expect the police to help redirect the traffic and maintain law and order, instead the nigerian police joined a number of area boys to harass and extort the driver of the vehicle. The nigeria police is a national embarassment. |
Fayose and Donald Trump have one thing in common. Both think with their balls rather than their brains. |
Burger01:There is no justice in nigeria justice system. A sharia court would have been appropriate, but in nigeria $hit happens. |
The irony is that most of those who mock and crucify lai mohammed's comment will be the first to apply for a place in the ministry of culture and tourism. The same way almost a million nigerians applied for just the available 10,000 police jobs, despite the fact that we nigerians hate the average policeman on the street. I keep saying, i dont fear for the impacts that our past leaders have left, but the youth's mentality is what worries me. When i hear comments by the supposed future leaders, it worries me what future the country has. There is a need for nationwide re-orientation of our youths. Too many are negative minded. Too many have given up on niggeria. Very few of our youthe are ready to take on the responsibility of rebuilding this country. I fear for the future. |
Cyberthuq:Meet the admin and request to be whitelisted. |
kolaish:You spoke my mind. Procurement is not the problem, nepotism is the problem. Many of the procurement contracts go to cronies of the govt and extended families. Its annoying when officials try to pull a wool over the public eye. Bunch of dishonest people. |
Obiano's leadership style is unlike what we see in the past. He will make a good president. |
Will it solve the power problem? |
Some of these children will grow up someday and join the NA, stand and fight against what their fathers stood for. They need love too. |
And what exactly will a 16 year old contribute to arsenal trophy chase.
Arsenal has become a recruiting ground for teenagers.
Wenger will never learn. |
ifex370:follow him on twitter and you will get video links: @KeithBarkerCCIE |
ifex370:CCIE Security. 27 years in the industry. A very active partner with offensive security. |
Zico5:In nigeria, only idiots are allowed to old office. |
ifex370:Check out jeremy's tweets. This guy has been around since networkin itself. The days of sonet ring networks, dedicated leased circuits for enterprises, PVCs. He is so full of details, touches every aspect and best of all he makes networking look like a pizza delivery course. If you are the type that believes networking should be taught at the speed of "steroids", then check out keith barker's videos. |
oduastates:This is what i call the stark naked truth. The country is not productive but the rich business men continue to source for forex to bring in what? "RUBBISH". We are poor as a country of 180 million people with a reserve of less than 29 billion dollar and we produce what? Absolutely nothing. Today, i witnessed the offload of six containers of foreign chocolate, apparently brought in from denmark. I asked myself, who can afford to import boxes of chocolate at a time like this? The importers probably sourced their forex from the parallel market. We certainly havent learnt a thin in this country. Even if we allow GEJ and PMB to co-rule(if there is any such word) this country, so long as we fail to come to terms with the economic mess we have found ourselves, we will not make any meaningful progress. Now, we are seeing the wailers and the zombies singing in one accord, but will that solve the economic problem? The truth is that nigeria has the potential to be a rich nation, but as it is we are a very poor country ruled by people who are bereft or too lazy to figure a way out of this doldrum. |
