holluwai:My thought too. Vocally and lyrically, she is nowhere near both tiwa and sheyi. I think what endears her personality to the african crowd is her ability to blend her african heritage, look, style to her brand of music. She is in a league of her own. At the moment, she seems to be the only african female artist with that african diva statute, others are tilted to the western style and blend. She hasnt got more hits than tiwa maybe a bit more than sheyi shay, but she is doing very well for herself |
In sane clime, serous attention would be focused on south east to rid the region of these nefarious crimes. These cases are one too many. The campaign should be taken to the root i.e the family tree to sucessfully tackle this problem. Instead of we screaming and making mockery of a particular tribe, we should as a nation channel our energy towards distorting a trend that is becoming a norm in the south east.I believe its a psychological thing that should be worked on. The igbos just like any other tribe are hardworking and enterprising people. Every region has its own fair share of these nefarious internationally co-ordinated crimes. Like i said before, the family is the root cause of this problem and that is where the solution to this problem will come from. |
hahn:Reckless drivers! Reckless drivers! Reckless drivers! |
internetpirate:what is mediocre about this feat. Individuals attain this feat at lesser age abroad. If the lad deserves it, then he should be awarded on a platter of merit and not heirarchial discrimination. |
I can imagine some people on nairaland are already having stomache as they hear this news. Lest not forget, FG should deploy specially trained security personnels made up of all arms of security to protect the oil pipeline nation wide. At least five thousand in number and please leave out the police force. That arm of security needs seven day baptism. |
armadeo:My thought too. Ask any niger deltan if they would be part of BIAFRA and the answer you will get is a big no. The so called biafra in itself has a caste system in place where the delta igbos are regarded as second hand ibos, and you expect the other tribes to be part of that formation? FYI, niger deltans will rather have their own entity than be part of biafra. The call for biafra is always emanating from those individuals in the east who have no investment in other part of the country (i consider this rather selfish not to consider other kinsmen who have laboured to build their empires through sweat). If biafrans want their own seperate entity, they should approach the UN in unity, but please leave the niger deltans out of it. |
@bidexii. Keep up the god works as u do the nation proud. Your reportage is rare and coinicise. |
I remember the days of nuhu ribadu's efcc, somehow those powers fought back. The same scenario is playing out now. How i wish we could send these people to china. |
Dee60:Believe me, many nigerian wealthy are stupid and gullible. If nigerians fail to buy those fruits and opt for local fruits they would be sourced locally. Fruit business for retail stores is a huge business. Are our business men and farmers tapping into these opportunities yet? If u dont believe in urself, dont expect others to believe in you. |
Get into europe or die trying. This is serious.Odikwa risky |
hensben:Which stupid, rich man would run after a married woman with four children. Is he jinxed? |

To wenger, arsenal is just another investment. Profit comes first before trophies. |
Starships4u:The diversification of the economy is not the responsibility of the FG but that of the state govt. Education and solid minerals development are suppose to be areas that the state govts would handle and pay tax to the FG. As it is, the state govts have their myopic eyes set on petro dollar as this is the only source of national income that can meet their insatiable thirst for looting and appropriation of undeserved, ridiculous salary package. Even if oil falls to ten dollars, they will not bulge. |
BeeBeeOoh:And immediately, you are quick to politicise an issue of national concern. This is the bane of our retrogression in this country. Cant nigerians observe a line between economic issues and politics. Always quick to politice every matter. |
Until the FG completely remove the nigerian police from guarding the oil pipelines, we will never see an end to this menace. The police is too corrupt minded to be able to man the pipelines without sucessfully. |
atlwireles:And u do not understand the technologies behind the efficiency of a drone.:| |
These towns should be garrisoned by the MOPOL in conjuction with the CJTF, the army should focus on advancing to the next BH stronghold. Its high time we make effective use of the high number of security personnels that are available to us. |
I didnt use this then, but i started with computing win 98. Then, we would do our typing practise in the dos environment as there was no marvis beacon.Very laughable. This was conceptualised before the advent of the internet. Wow, we 've come a long way. |
Keziehenry:For hands on practical laptop repair and engineering, go to computer village, pepple str, behind west gate computers, ask for engineer sammy.Lots of young guys making something out of their life there. |
Since u said he wasnt like this some time ago, maybe the company's finance is dwindling. Try and know the financial state of the company. |
DonXavi:Please spare us all these he doesnt understand english bla bla bla. Please give us links to statements directly made by the president or his spokesperson where GEJ was public insulted. Most of what you call insults is a denial of the gross abuse of office by the last administration. And come to think of it, must former ministers tag along like ''pack of wolves who have been chased away from their carcass delicacy'' just to register their displeasure on bahalf of GEJ, the same way orubebe tried disrupting the last general election result. If their hands are clean as they claim, GEJ should be allowed todefend himself. For all i percieve, GEJ might have little knowledge of the magnitude of corruption and embezzlement that was going on while he was in office. Please... |
Gradually, we are journeying back to the genesis of this boko haram crisis. Corruption and public embezzlement of funds meant to cater for the impoverished populace is now been diverted to wherever. Why do we never learn in this country, why has greed been hard coded in our sub-consciousness. Whoever is in charge of these IDP camps should be fired immediately. Corruption and terrorism are like brothers in hand to hand, they are destroyers of humanity. |
May the souls of the victims rest in peace. As for boko haram, their dooms day is a matter of countdown.Their Logistics supply has been cut off, no fuel to run their motor cycles and hilux vehicles, they have resorted to the ancient mode of transportation. The security agencies know what to do. Long live nigeria. |
And the last 16 years was better right? With all the wastage of billions of petrol dollars. PDP is, was and still remains a curse. |
Amaechi's body language and manner of speaking oozes nothing but ''scam, scam, scam''. I guess its a case of the scammer getting scammed. |
lekjons:Welcome to the world of capitalism. Only the daring and innovating make the bick bucks while the rest are just ''tag along''. Mind you, these monies are peanuts compared to how much the companies make from the masses who consume the services and end products that these industries churn out. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer and the govts are too helpless and confused to do anything about it. |
Where is the police when you need them. Nowhere to be found. Nigeria police is not understaffed, many of them are just redundant and mere salary and pension seekers. |
UrennaNkoli:Question is are their lives insured? Big NO. MAYBE THEIR LIVES MEAN ANYTHING TO LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT AND THE AGENCIES THAT EMPLY THEM. RIP, VERY SAD. THEY NEED TO BE ENLIGHTENED AND EDUCATED BEFORE BEEN DEPLOYED TO THE STREETS. |

Maybe, the NNPC spokesperson does not understand the crude oil pipeline layout.
