Did u see the number of IT certificates shared among them? It takes years and valuable resources(money and time) to aquire them. A young mind would definitely age to acquire those knowledge and skill.
Politics › Re: CCT: Court Orders Saraki's Arrest by persius555(m): 3:50pm On Sep 18, 2015
A good way to commence the fight against corruption. Using a stubborn PDP turned APC lone wolf like saraki as scapegoat. If he is eventually stripped of the senate leadership position, he should blame himself.

His arrogance is really annoying. His emergence was anti-party but they let him be.

Asset declaration, he faulted.

Appear before court, his overbearing pompousness got the better of him.

He has shown to the electorate that he is not worthy to be bestowed the postion he craftilly occupies.

Too many controversies in such a short period of time.

Naija is tough @ this point. In the absence of an effective police, the people will continue to resolve to jungle justice.
Its a shame this is how we would rather express our anger towards crime. Out of poverty, the thief robs the poor who is equally improverished. Sad

I take exception to you calling me a liar. That said, I don't have to prove my identity to you. If the truth hurts you, deal with it. If I was fixated on ethnic issues, I won't marry from the ND. You can't develop the Delta when Ogoni 8 is fighting Ogoni 12, Ijaw vs Itsekiri vs Urhobo. Okpe vs Uvwie. Anang vs Ibibio. There's too much individualism here. Try floating any business and you'd spend more time negotiating community quota and ex-gratia payment than in running the business. You wonder how a warm, friendly and fun-loving people can't get their acts together for the benefit of the community.
Thank you for this post. This rent seeking mentality of the average ND community is another great obstacle to socio-economic development in the region. Warri, agbor, bayelsa, benin, brass, ogoni and all over. Genuine development will continue to elude the south south if there is no change in the mentality. GEJ's accidental stint in aso rock produce very little despite the enormous opportunity that was presnted on a platter of gold.

Seems like PMB is not in anyway comfortable with Saraki as d president..He is now having to fight different battles up and down... The next move for saraki is to jes decamp to PDP cos those are d people that obviously gave him d senate presidency.. u can't short change ur own people and expect peace.. Politics is dirty but shuld be done with common sense..
Its obvious that saraki is not wanted in APC. He should just honourably resign and head back to PDP where he will be welcome and start all over again. Nigerian politicians and sit tight tendencies.

Representing edo state. The problem with the south south is that politically, we have not been sincere with ourselves. Like somebody said earlier, there is too much selfish interest and individualism (i can do it all by myself attitude) entrenched in the mentality of the leaders. In the absence of true leaders, we have thrown up people like james ibori, lucky igbinedion, asari dokubo, tompolo, GEJ,Timipriye sylva etc. Out of all those i have mentioned, which one could fill the shoes of past leaders like Adaka boro, ken saro wiwa, Anthony enahoro? Your answer is as good as mine. It all boils down to lack of unity and dearth of leadership. If we respect ourselves and show purpose, the other regions would reciprocate. Finally, there is more to the niger delta than crude oil. Its high time we inculcate the culture of common sense, self education and drop the culture of hooligalism and thuggery.

So Ogun don dey get militants too? If so, get ready to face the music too.
Many of the vandals are of ijaw extractions who have shiftedbase from the niger delta to the ogun axis. With the right technology and adequate manpower, vandalism could be dratically reduced but the right people should be trained for this job.
Politics › Re: Pipeline Vandals Kill 10 DSS Operatives In Ogun by persius555(m): 10:06pm On Sep 16, 2015
Somebody gave out information to the vandals. By the way, why would the DSS be fully geared and armed without fore knowledge of whats ahead? They probably underestimated the firepower and potency of these vandals.Pipeline vandalism is a multi billion naira industry in nigeria. So sad, RIP to the dead.
Christianity Etc › Re: Muslim Migrants Threw Christians [Nigerians] Overboard To Their Deaths [CNN] by persius555(m): 11:10am On Sep 16, 2015
And to think they were heading to a christain dominated nation, in fact the birthplace of modern day christainity. They could as well drown everyone one in rome including the pope since they are all christains. The problem with islam is that its extrimist followers think they are in a race to please god. The indoctrination is so hardcoded in their way of thinking that they think they are doing god a favor. All religions think they know god better than the other, but the truth is that god does not need any of the religions to know every one of its creation. Muslims are just as intolerant as christains, hindu etc. But muslims take it way too far.

PabloAfricanus:
Spot on!
Any informed observer should have known something fishy was afoot when Buhari and his APC crew staged publicized visits
to 10 Downing street before the last elections.
Government after government, Africans get shafted in the rear by willing accomplices of Western imperialism.
Cant blame the West though, they put in a lot of effort in safe guarding their interests...compared to our
chop today and wait for tomorrow leaders.
A question that has always been on my mind is...what do these men do with power?
Like really what? Stack up their loots and marry more wives? Or build more mansions in America and Europe?
Sometimes I wish to believe Africans are not intellectually cursed or something...cos the glaring lack of
thinking and intelligent minds is too obvious.

My prayer is that a repeat of the IBB austerity/devaluation dose should not be visited on Nigeria.
What these old men and political jobbers gain from shooting their country in the foot is well beyond me.
They've seen it all...enjoyed it all at the very highest levels...so what's the game?
Over 50 years of rule by autocratic and despotic military rule...and they could not provide the one thing a country
as large as Nigeria needs to take off...power.
Who held their hands? Who or what prevented IBB from using military fiat to make sure the power plants worked.
Or that clownish CIA plant OBJ...$16 dolllars to generate darkness!!![b]
The very amazing thing is Nigerians have not risen up in revolt.
Sit back for a minute and think of it.
A sitting government supposedly spent $16 BILLION dollars to generate power...
Not only was power NOT generated, but the very department responsible for that huge funds was sold off less than 5 years later
to private investors!!!
What happened to the $16 billion dollarshuh
Or the huge amounts wasted on federal roads across the country...with attendant loss in lives on the bad roads being constructed.
I wont even bother to comment on the Jonathan comedy and the circus crew of entertainers he surrounded himself with.
Something as basic as generating and distributing electricity has proved to be a herculean task.
Haba! I spit on African leaders and their minions. angry
Nigerians indeed deserve what they get...cos they have collectively condoned nonsense from irresponsible leaders.
Finally, a right thinking person comes along. Wombraider makes GEJ look like a saint even to the bewilderment of GEJ himself. There is nothing more that i hate than 'ethinicism coated in sensationalism''. Ethnic bigotry is resposible for africas underdevelopment.

Seriously I hate work under foreigners especially the Asian. Not xenophobia, the last time I worked under the Chinese at Ikorodu, I resigned after two weeks. It's purr slavery in one's homeland. I would rather work as a site labourer than work as an Asian company owned worker.
That is what happens when majority of those that have the resources and wherewithal to set up industries are next to idiots and have acute mental inferiority complex. What is it that these asians do with their resources in nigeria that we cannot do. A serious nation cannot afford to leave the industralisation of its economy to foreigners. They will feed on your carcass and drop u for dead when there is nothing to feed on.

No. Its operations is under the nigeria space agency (cant remember acronym of agency). Its currently being used for some serious security operations. Its not a waste of resources afterall, just wish we could make better economic use of its payload.

Scrap JAMB, scrap NYSC, scrap NECO , scrap POST UTM,Escrap everything!!! Sometimes, i wonder what value we are adding to our education. Instead of finding ways to rectify the defects which these laudable programs have in other to make it work we rather throw everything away and be left with nothing.

Its just the nigerian mentality,''if it doesnt work in my favor, to hell it shouldnt work for anyone else''.
