Terrorists can be two faced liars when seriously under fire. The NA should continue the offensive, lock down all border routes for ther ammunition, fuel and food supply. They will all soon start singing like parrots. Every jihadist taking up against a democratically elected govt is an enemy of the state. PMB should stick to his plan, the planned 8,700 joint military force should come on board and we will continue to employ our own in-house military plans. |
hinwazaka:Hear yourself talk; "Abacha was a sucess" when did looting billions of dollars, the commonwealth of a country of 170 million people become sucess? Walahi, You need mental assesment. Do the country a favor, check yourself into the nearest mental hospital :@ |
This explains why our democracy is soaked in blood. Every politician aspires to that pinnacle, its a matter of do or die for them. |
Nigerian pastors are taking advantage of the poor economic situation to exploit nigerians. |
Chai, where are those jona apologists who are ready to die for their saint leader. 7 billion naira equals $35 million dollars. They have finished this country and bala mohammed is aking for more like he is oliver twist. Bala mohmmed should be arrested and prosecuted. |
Facebook is a nuisance. |
Get a usb wireless card from anywhere, try connect a wifi network with this. If connection is stable then ur laptop wireless card is faulty. |
Small business owners and corporate firms, especially those within populated metropolis should be encouraged to also have camera surveillance coverage covering @ least distances that are up to 50 metres public view. Govt cant do it all alone. CCTV footages from a nearby store was all that was needed to expose the two boston marathon bombers two years ago. The public should take a cue. |
Ayanko:He use to be a monkey. ![]() |
Joavid:In other words, guys should see a relationship as a give and take and not a room for charity givings. Op, the ladies have spoken, be wiser next time. |
Nairalanders, please lets be honest. If you wre to be in fiday's condition, would u rather be taking to the hospital or turned into a public show? Nigerians, where did we lose our sense of humanity. 767 or 112 is the only hope he has got. Many have smart phones but little do they know its not only built to take selfies and photo shot but to also save lives. |
Pleaseee...... |
Which sane country in africa will obtain a loan of that mangitude to build airports. What impact does expansion of airports have on the common man? Ethiopia, congo took similar loand and they all embarked on rail project expansion in order to revive and improve their transport sector. Even with so much money allocated, many of the airport projects accross the country are nothing but fallow projects. NOI, in her statements only said the money was not marked for rail projects but for projects that are not of direct economice impact. Now we know this woman never meant well for the common man in the street. This project has been long over due according to economic experts. The lagos-kano rail project would have been a game changer for our economy but this controversial woman chose otherwise. God will surely repay this woman in her own coin. |
Smart phone, modem or whatever, its the same system of exploitation and all the telcos are neck deep involved. The excuse they give does not hold water. How many nigerians make calls on the go with skype and whatsapp on the go?Its all lies, lies, lies. These companies are responsible for pricing the cafes out of business, they did so and now they settle down to exploit nigerians. Case scenario, anytime i fire up my etisalat modem, GUI interface starts to count without me running a program. Its all fraud and they know it, NCC knows this and will do nothing cause they get their own share of the fraud. We are left @ the mercy of these capitalists who are bent on milking us dry. NCC should stop issuing spectrum licenses to the GSM companies, as their actions is a stumbling block to full broadband coverage nation wide @ an affordable rate. |
Hmm...a certain barcanista will not be seen commenting on threads like this. There are too many facts and figures that will rope him in. Shame to the detractors of a better nigeria. Nigeria will be great again. |
Barcanista, you and reverend kukah should go and search your conscience if you have one. Reverend kukah's statements had undertones (add to abdusalami's) that suggested that buhari was going out of bound contrary to the peace commitee's agreement that never took into cognisance the true wishes of the people. Kukah's statements are indirectly painting PMB as a no respecter of the civil right of a nigerian. As far as the matter is concerned, neither the reverend's utterances nor PMB's stance so far has trampled on the right of anyone, but what disturbs most is the reverend's decision to sort of play the role of a spokesperson to GEJ and his past govt. Reverend kukah had decided to play the role of spokesperson in the post GEJ's govt. GEJ himself should come out and deny any allegation of corruption during hid tenure as the president. |
Democracy should not be a full fledge day job. Senators should get a job or start a business and serve on a part time basis. No wonder they turn elections to war front. |
Nigerians, what have we become. Life means nothing to us these days. Another person's misfortune is now an opportunity to gain cheap publicity. Totally pathetic. |
dimexilux:The way forward is for NCC to look into this fraud and revive mobile arm of nitel. The telcos are out to rip nigerians of their hard earned money. They take nigerians as fools. |
Shwarz:Sorry, are u transgender. Why are you coming down hard on both sexes. |
Nigerians should rise up and support PMB's crusade against corruption. Corruption has turned our citizens to pauper, destitutes here and abroad. We want justice, all stolen funds must be refunded and examples made out of the culprits. That is the only way the country will genuinely move forward. |
MissEse:Seriously, nigerians are very funny people. Why should anyone invest his or her hard earned money on govt property, only to start wailing and crying and claiming witchhunt when demolition exercise begins. In most cases, the monies are sourced through fraudulent means if not its just pure stupidity. |
Sweetguy25:We should ask what variety they are producing and is it organically grown or genetically modified. |
Must every good and bad news be tainted with tribal bigotry. Nigerians from all over the nation are making us proud home and abroad and all u tribal masqurades can contribute is sectionalism. No tribe in the league of nations that make up nigeria can replicate 20 percent GDP of a single nigeria if the different regions are allowed to sail on its own. The southern cameroon still long to be part of nigeria, decades after seperation from nigeria. Shouldnt that be a pointer that we all are feeding off each other. Pls, can u all quit this tribal tug of war for once and open youer eyes and appreciate the opportunity that nigeria has presented us. |
MosakuAW:The poor economic situation has made a lot of nigerians "walking bomb". Many cant afford two square meal not to talk of a medical test. |
ionsman:Who betide them to lie if this was heaven. |
Seamareggae: |
handie:I believe its a face saving move. PWC is a renowned audit firm recognised globally. The entire world is waiting to see what comes out of these probe. PWC owes nigeria an apology after this. |
divinehand2003:Pdp was never a political party, it was more of a gathering of political vultures and hyenas. Have you seen hyenas and vultures devour preys down to carcasses? Nigerians, we are too tough and smart to be someone's carcass. |
aresa:Pls, save us us all the rhetorics that dont hold water in any circle of discussion. In as much as i support and append BRF's massive contribution to the lives of lagosians and nigerians, this project was an overkill and uncalled for. Why should an administration use public funds to fund a project that solely publicises the works a public office holder, making it look like the former governor was doing lagosians a favor. Ideally, a noble idea of such should have been included as part and parcel of the entire lagos state establishment with or without BRF on seat of govt. A subdomain attached to the numerous LASG websites would have been appritate and cheaper to maintain, e.g brfprojects.lasg.gov. Whatever the intent of the project was, it was overpriced, over valued and controversial. It did more damage to BRF's image than good. All the same, BRF is my man any day. |
On this one, i am dumbfounded. I cant imagine what a 78 million naira website should look like. Whoever executed this contract obviously had a looting intention. But amiable BRF shouldnt have let this one fly. Websites are objects of public domain, they are meant for all eyes to see and scrutinise. All the same, i still give him my vote for a ministerial portfolio. |
donholy28:The distribution companies have refused to use them as the chinese imports are their choice because of the kickbacks they get. PMB should include imported meters among the products that are prohibited from accessing forex. |
