Phayie: The Airline is not well informed. You should be able to travel with your student visa as you have residency status. If you have to refer them to UKVI website, do so. 1 Like |

DashBCU: It would have been best to submit on the same day you printed your statement which is 25th. Others can share their thoughts on it but I think you have 2 options- 1. Print your statement from 28th Oct - 25th Nov and upload 2. Maybe cancel and reapply |

Chisom09: It’s best you liaise with your account officer and visit the bank to provide proper explanation on how you got the huge lodgment in your account. The banks flag these things especially when it’s a savings account and you don’t do such volumes. Once you provide a proper explanation the restriction would be lifter |

I applied for Dropbox for my son. And he was invited for interview today. The VO drilled down on my payments and receipt. She explained that for every receipt there should be an itemized bill because if you show a receipt payment for say $100, how would they know your bill was not $150 and you only paid $100 and received a receipt for just that amount you paid. I used HNWMC for my last childbirth trip and I explained that I signed an agreement with the hospital stating that I would not be issued an itemized bill. She took it and made a copy. She looked through all my receipts for my two birthing trips and kept typing and updating, she asked for clarifications in between. She then asked to see my bank statement, which I gave her but refused to see my T-bills investment letter which had the bulk of all my savings. She then said to me that I should always ask for a bill and THEN receipt for every medical treatment recieved - Dr, Hosp, per, lab etc. she stated that doesn’t have a problem with me having my births abroad but that I don’t have enough ties which is why she is refusing my son’s visa. That he rides on me to be eligible and I am not eligible (irony of life, considering I still have a valid visa). In all fairness, she looked sympathetic and took her time to update all my payment records on the system, Which she told me she had done. She said that I can always reapply for my son but to wait for 6months and that was that. Truth is that I kept an open mind about the interview. I think the VOs have a mandate to deny as many visas as possible. So many people I met had the same outcome and even people that have gone for interviews in recent time. 2 Likes |

lionhead6969: Why so late? Pls don't let your wife deliver on the plane. It’s not just about the airline but also her wellbeing! Anyway, Delta and KLM does not ask for fit to fly. For the bolded, I believe it means that they won’t change the ticket for free or waive any penalties just because pregnancy is involved. So any modification to your ticket would come at a cost regardless of your pregnancy. 2 Likes |

Cretaceous: I’ve not flown BA but I had a very good experience with KLM. No fit to fly needed and infant ticket was cheap. I paid about N40,000 in their Nigeria office through my hubby. I heard BA charges a lot to add infant ticket 1 Like |
