There is a very reasonable explanation why Jesus cursed the fig tree even though it wasn’t the season for figs. Even before the season, fig trees produce little knobs which are eaten by a passerby. As the late renowned NT scholar F.F. Bruce noted:

"The other miracle is the cursing of the barren fig tree (Mk. xi 12 ff.), a stumbling block to many. They feel that it is unlike Jesus, and so someone must have misunderstood what actually happened, or turned a spoken parable into an acted miracle, or something like that. Some, on the other hand, welcome the story because it shows that Jesus was human enough to get unreasonably annoyed on occasion. It appears, however, that a closer acquaintance with fig trees would have prevented such misunderstandings. ‘The time of the fig is not yet,’ says Mark, for it was just before Passover, about six weeks before the fully-formed fig appears. The fact that Mark adds these words shows that he knew what he was talking about. When the fig leaves appear about the end of March, they are accompanied by a crop of small knobs, called taqsh by the Arabs, a sort of fore-runner of the real figs. These taqsh are eaten by peasants and others when hungry. They drop off before the real fig is formed. But if the leaves appear unaccompanied by taqsh, there will be no figs that year. So it was evident to our Lord, when He turned aside to see if there were any of these taqsh on the fig-tree to assuage His hunger for the time being, that the absence of the taqsh meant that there would be no figs when the time of figs came. Who is addressed here? Israel or the priests?

1. That tithing is NOT a commandment of the law (of Moses)

2. That it is "an act of worship".

Bear in mind bro, that this (#2) sort of nullifies Romans 12:1 which states that[b] the[/b] believer's spiritual act of worship is presenting his body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.

As it would appear, Paul didn't know there was another "act of worship" or maybe.  .  .  just maybe.  .  .  he only knew of (or was only speaking of) the spiritual act of worship here.  .  . tithing being the "material" equivalent 

And while you're at it.  .  . kindly provide biblical Christian examples or instructions on this "act of worship" of yours

I would love to know where the "giving in order to receive" can be found in the Holy Scriptures, what's wrong with a Christian giving without expecting anything in return knowing that our Father in Heaven is looking down and knows our hearts?

It's PURE SCAM to be "taught" the prosperity nonsense of giving in order to get something from God and the wrong application of FAITH, "faith without works is DEAD"

When you have passed this earth life and are in Heaven and have inherited all things and becomes a god.
Then someone says : You were not always a god but has to progress to the exact exalted station you now find yourself, can the statement not be true.
Look at Christ as our example.
He was a God before coming amongst men, yet he had to grow from grace to grace.

My advise to you.
Be careful in relations to things about religion.
Because in event you are wrong in your thinking, you only end up losing your way.
But don't be the means of making millions of people lose their way too.
The punishment will be more.

When people ask me about Islam, Hindu etc.

The OP was correct in saying that the LDS teaches that God the father has not always been God. YOU know this. I once discussed these issues with an LDS member who (like you) was desperately trying to make it look like this is what the bible has actually been saying all along. At least he didn't have the effrontery to outrightly deny this.
