One of my lecturers; Prof. Okereke told us his story that when he married his wife (who's also a prof now), he was running his Master's program and he has no income. That his wife accepted him and now they are good. He said one thing he was known for was his simple lifestyle.
Today, while hanging out with our shawty/girl/bae/bestie, we often bragged or talked about Range Rover, G-wagon, S-class Benz, 7series BMW, Lexus etc. We positioned our Lady's mind into abysmal standards and at d end, we continue to struggle. We men are d cause!

Not standards we have forced ourselves into, but standards we either grew up with, or want to live by. I keep saying, it is very unfair to take a woman from her father's house where she is guaranteed 3 square meals to come live with a Man with whom even 1 meal per day is not guaranteed.

Standards we grew up with? No,no,no & hell no! We didn't grow up with no such standards. One thing I know is, most us grew up being driven in Peugeot, beetle, shagari Benz or Volvo. It was never a standard. These are achievements our parents struggled to acquire perhaps after marriage. Their wife then respect their hustle/struggle. Anyway, if I'd accent to ur claim, why then didn't we discard other styles such as teenage sex, gambling, thugging and other mediocrities? So ideally, we forced ourselves into these standards our ladies accepted them as our responsibility and we'd have to live by it until something happens.

I once confessed to a new girl I gat, that d breakup I had before I found her was my fault; that I cheated on d said girl couple of times and when she found out, it was a red card. The new girl asked if there was no 2nd chance and I said I messed d whole chances up. Do u know that it was d turned point? My raw honesty was what won d new girl for me. She told me that that means I've learnt my lesson. She is a daughter of a strong politician, though they relocated to U.S when this administration came in.

Only God knows what she may have subjected her poor husband to, for him to go this callous on her. But on d other way round, this Atiku of a guy should restore her nah. I'm sure she has learnt her lesson!.
