If you've ever engaged in campaign you will understand that you need a candidate with wide appeal to make your job easier.
When Osinbajo was nominated VP , Goodluck Jonathan wrote in his book that he knows the tide has changed automatically.

PDP VP will go to either Okowa or Ihedioha. Labour Party will go to SE and NW while NNPP will go to NW and Yoruba Christians.

No room for slittery, shady and unreliable snakes.

Even their Obi another of their kinsmen is trying to ensure he doesn't enter the ballot

Your own stood by Lawan with no achievement instead of Umahi
