Wolgrace: Ecowas is a scam bridge between west african countries and Nigeria. It's a bridge that favours them against Nigeria and a long straw to milk our overflowing financial prosperity.
Our government's failure in correcting our bad systems forces many exporters, and foreign companies to establish their warehouses, stores, hubs, plants, branches and affiliates over there because of sound systems and use our borders to bring in their goods in other to milk our internal financial flow through smugglers due to market population. Other reasons for the closure are also valid but we need to work our systems first as naija don scatter beyond redemption. Our corrupt system also breeds the smugglers to benefit from the system too.
Ghana govts and other west african govts should do the needful because if they don't learn through faults, they will be forced to learn by accidents. It favours Nigeria more than others. If not for your foolish leaders I wonder how well the region would have been |

You have proven beyond doubt that you are a dunce. 1.Who facilitated the Chatham house visit? 2. Who used the Nigerian Governors Forum platform as an opposition vehicle? 3. Who set the platform for your party's campaign against Jonathan? 4. Who gave your party the credibility they lacked based on his religious and regional affinity with Jonathan? 5. Who attacked his economic plans on behalf of your party if not Rotimi Amaechi? 6. Who denied the existence of the rail infrastructure Jonathan built and the financing he had negotiated for further developments? 7. Is it not in Rotimi Amaechi 's apartment in Lagos the NSA boss hid money that was meant to fight Boko Haram? Is it not Rotimi Amaechi that did all this? The only reason the international community tolerated the jihadist APC was because of people like Amaechi. Can you see that the world is beginning to close her borders to Nigerians because they can clearly see were the APC's real interest lies. Bbut since we got married, just two months and 5 days after our marriage, my shop caught fire. I have lost almost everything only managed to save some few things, had to pay for all the damages to my landlord (the shop owner ) I’m still owning him money and I’m now renting a small shop but things are not working.
I have so much debts to pay to so many people including my previous shop landlord, can’t afford a 3 square meals, can’t afford to pay house rent, can’t afford to pay my shop rent and we have moved to my parents house.
My wife is pregnant and due in April, we haven’t bought anything for the baby. I wish never met her in my life cos she has completely destroyed my life and I have nothing left. She is evil. Haven’t confronted her cos of her condition, don’t want to add more stress to her and am waiting for her to put to bed then I will confront her and chase her away. I will keep the baby with me so she can go with her child she had before we met. I just hate her so much and I want nothing to do with her anymore.

By the way, what Nigeria show for the close to $1trillion they have looted from the Niger Delta? Although I'm a very fine guy no doubt most girls would fall for me the way she acts I kinda feel she loves me but the child is the only problem and she doesn't even have any friends she is mostly with me all the time.. Single mothers will ALWAYS have issues. Either the single mother, her child/ children or ex. One way or the other issues will surface. I feel very sorry for them. There may be few exceptions but I think most won't just work. Even if you are nice to the child, most times she will read meaning. It is a situation one should avoid if one can. I don't think the person is talking about your looks, the person is talking about how they fall for "bad boys" and come for good guys after learning their lessons the hard way. I have had two ladies I really liked. I withdrew once I knew 1 was a single mom. The 2nd one decided to marry another guy( probably because she felt he had money). Today she's out with a child. If not for the child I would have considered her. Children change a lot. It is also a financial burden. Logically, one would ask; why settle for one with baggage when you can settle with one who has none of that? |

I see that those women were made to break the law by overstaying their visas and boom! Their troubles begin. I once saw a Naija man in a village in Eastern Europe in this same wahala. He was looking for a way to cross into western Europe. The thing I see is that they look for women who are interested in trying their luck abroad. Of course top executives will not leave their livelihood to go start afresh abroad. They don't have to do much to get whores to travel abroad. My worry is for naive women. Even if those girls are whores, they do not deserve to be abused. Not at all! No human deserves that treatment. If you don't like her anymore, just let her be. Most of these men are big men in Africa but in their countries they can barely survive. Having to feed an extra mouth gets them agitated. |

Virtually all of them are less educated or gold diggers. I wonder what they think when they follow white men abroad!
Most white women ( except they meet you in Africa). Will insist you remain with them in their country.
Our desperate women, with only sex to offer, elope with oyibo at the slightest opportunity.
What most of them fail to realise is that, if all a man gets from you is sex, you are not different from the prostitutes they meet along the streets.
Spending on African women in West or East Africa is for the most part not expensive. When these men finally get to Germany or some other Western country, they count the cost of maintaining their "exotic animals " and get pissed off!
That's what causes much of these atrocities. |

EU officials claim Nigeria is not doing enough... [Schengen Visa Info 21 Feb 2020 EU Plans to Impose Visa Restrictions on Nigerians
The European Union is planning to soon tighten the procedures for getting a Schengen Visa for the nationals of Nigeria, as the latter is failing to play its part in the return and readmission of its nationals staying illegally in Europe.
According to the EU Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Virginie Battu-Henriksson, the EU may introduce several measures what will make it more difficult for Nigerians to get a Schengen Visa, as a result of the country’s noncooperating government.
“What the EU can do since new rules on short-stay visas to the EU became applicable on 2 February 2020, is to adapt the rules on processing short-stay visa applications, depending on whether a non-EU country cooperates satisfactorily on the return and readmission of their nationals staying irregularly in the EU,” Battu-Henriksson explains while adding that this is by no way a ban on Nigerian nationals, like the one the US President Donald Trump introduced lately on Nigeria.
The new rules on Schengen visas that Battu-Henriksson mentions derive from the recently updated Schengen Visa code, which the EU Commission to regularly assess the level of cooperation of non-EU countries on the readmission of irregular migrants.
If the level of cooperation is insufficient, the commission, together with member states, can decide on a temporary more restrictive implementation of certain provisions of the visa code.
This could have an impact on the processing time, the length of validity of the visa to be issued, the level of the visa fee to be charged and the fee waivers.
Spokesperson Battu-Henriksson also claims that Nigerians are still among the top 10 nationalities detected as staying irregularly in the EU although the number of Nigerians travelling irregularly to the EU had dropped.
“Nigerians still place among the top 10 nationalities detected as staying irregularly on the EU territory, although the number of Nigerians entering the EU irregularly declined drastically last year,” she said.
Statistics by SchengenVisaInfo.com show that in 2018, Schengen embassies and consulates in Nigeria processed 88,587 visa applications, 44,076 of which were rejected thus marking the highest rejection rate of 49.8% among all third-countries in need of visas.
France was the top favourite country for visa submission, as 33,308 of the applications submitted in Nigeria were for Schengen visas to France, followed by Italy with 13,295 and Germany with 10,847 applications.
In terms of expenditures, in 2018, Nigerians spent €5,315,220 in visa applications to Europe, €2,644,560 of which money was spent by applicants who had their visas rejected.] https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/news/eu-plans-to-impose-visa-restrictions-on-nigerians/ |

selemempe: I honestly think we are divided in the eastern region. Yes we have a unifying factor in PDP but we are not working towards common agenda
That Eyo Ita emerged in the first place shows that Igbos were not bigots. Enugu's mayor as at the time was a Fulani man. Enugu was the capital of the region... imagine that! Louis Edet emerged as at the time other easterners like Ironsi et all were emerging...that shows Igbos placed merit over clannishness. Don't forget we are the majority in the eastern region and we are not backward people...naturally we would dominate the region. Did ijaw not dominate old Rivers state? Is there anything you accuse us of that ijaw didn't do worst in the old Rivers state including siezing Igbo properties after the war!
What happened in other regions (including the old Rivers state) are very relevant in understanding how Igbos treated eastern minorities. Don't forget Adaka Boro was an SUG president in UNN!
Yes palm oil was the 2nd largest foreign exchange earner in the eastern region...was it not found all over the region including Igbo areas? Even up till now!
I say again...Igbos are guilty of many things but mistreating the minorities of the eastern region isn't one of them.
We should all work together like Arewa are doing Maybe you are not familiar with your history or you are just living in denial! To start with, Rivers state was supposed to be a homogeneous Ijaw state. In fact we were promised 3 homogeneous Ijaw states. Some of those who joined Rivers state were supposed to be part of the South eastern state as it was called then, they begged to be part of us. Ijaw domination of the old Rivers state is a myth! If dominance was in our nature we could have as well done that in Rivers state. If we were bent on dominance we wouldn't have built all the infrastructure we built in Ogoni and Ikwerre land. Till date, much of the infrastructure Rivers state enjoys was built under 3 Ijaw governors. Out of the 3, 2 were democratically elected and their tenure didn't last longer than 7 years. You are not well informed on the so called "abandoned property " saga. Most of them were stolen properties, stolen in the course of the eastern region or during the Biafra-Nigeria war. Our people were murdered and their properties stolen. There were several cases of abuse during eastern regional rule. For instance, late Chief Marshal Harry was chased out of class because he was Ijaw. There was a deliberate attempt by Igbo teachers to intimidate our children. Ijaw fishermen were subjected to taxes your Igbo farmers did not pay. It was no coincidence that late Chief Harold Dappa Biriye left the NCNC to form NDC. During the London conference late chief Harold Dappa Biriye called for the creation of an Ijaw region from the defunct eastern and western region. It was Nnamdi Azikiwe who vehemently opposed it. Awolowo was not strongly against the idea initially. We suffered a lot under the defunct eastern region and Biafra, if Igbo people suffered a quarter of what suffered at their hand, today hell will be let loose. We oppose being part of Biafra due to past experiences. Are you saying both Biriye and Boro were mad to point out discrimination under Igbo rule? Let's just focus on the issues that we share in common. Anytime you call for a Biafra that includes us, you remind us of all the atrocities your people committed. |
