Politics in Nigeria is full of hypocrisy. People commit crime and go scot free. We need sharia law to put an end to all these corruption. It's the only way to sanitize this country
Tell me, how are you different from Boko Haram?
Politics › Re: Insurgency: Air Force Deploys Fighter Helicopters To Kaduna, Niger by PHijo(m): 2:19pm On Feb 09, 2020
AlhajiImam:
These are people given us bad names because we are not supposed to kill another, only for self defence.

Terrorists are not Muslims. They are extremists.
What we want is sharia laws to guide us for peace to exist in this nation. It is the instruction of the most merciful Allah
Campaign for the country to be split with respect to late Major Gideon Orkar's boundary so you could go and practice sharia. The president is an Islamist, he may support your cause.

by anioma,you mean delta igbo.
Because sincerely i dont know what you mean by you are from anioma.
Can anyigbo man or woman here explain how i can differenciate an anioma(delta igbo),with other igbos.
Anyway we ijaws are the leaders of ss.i wontt say nigerdelta as they are about 2 core igbo state in it.
And most ijaw leaders either support biafra or dont condemn it.
And remember even silience is an answer.
Please the weak derty afonja muslim should not qoute me.
This is purely a brotherly issue.
Ijaw leaders condone the Biafra agitation as long as it doesn't extend into Ijawland.

The Yoruba, just like the Igbo are neighbours to the Ijaw nation and we respect both ethnic nations. We can't choose one of them over the other. Stop misleading people.

Bros I'm not Igbo!!!
Can't a Yoruba hold divergent views ?
Do I have to follow the herd?
You are talking about Opara when the international community has acknowledged the influx of terrorist into Nigeria ?
Slowly but surely IDPS are spreading south
Yes, Nigeria has failed. That doesn't make Biafra a solution for all. If Nigeria should split, we can't be together with the Igbo except for one condition. That country includes the middle belt and the whole of southern Nigeria, the status of every ethnic nation is enshrined in the constitution. Except that, forget it.

There is nothing wrong with an Igbo, Yoruba or anyone else having a divergent view. What we have problem with is threatening our very existence through political arrangements that have been tested and cannot be trusted.

Nigeria has destroyed your lives and environment
If you know history you wouldn't make noise!
Nnamdi Azikiwe, Michael Okpara, Aguiyi Ironsi and Ojukwu laid the foundation for the mess Nigeria is today.

I hope you know Igbo people quelled Ijaw people's quest for freedom from Nigeria.

How can you claim to offer us what you denied us?

How is that possible?

We shouldnt fight our selves.
Ss,se and some part of middle belt are biafrans.
I just hope they know that biafra,is not only an igbo thing.
I am ijaw and i love and support biafra.
If you are truly Ijaw you should know their history and antecedents.

Ijaw nation cannot form a country with the Igbo. We can only work together with them in Nigeria.

Christianity Etc › Re: 50% Pay Cut: Pastor Adeboye Tackled By Lawmakers by PHijo(m): 3:22pm On Feb 08, 2020
Pastor Adeboye is right on this! These politicians want to earn as if they've helped create a world class economy. In case these ignorant politicians don't know, churches on the long run strengthen the economy through 'religious tourism ' and contributions foreign missions make over the years.

Politicians were [s]elected to deliver the dividends of democracy. The same cannot be said about our pastors, people can choose to be part of what they promote, with the political class we don't seem to have a choice because choices are not respected.

tobidipity:
You all be shouting those in diaspora to come back home to better the country as if they are the problem of this country. Those of you that are back home in Naija, what have you done?
(What can you do sef) Nothing and you expect someone who as gone to better his or her life to come repair the country for you. The government haven't done their part in providing basic amenities and you expect them to come back. Is it those Abroad that will come provide good roads, stable power supply, education and infrastructures for you? You better face your government and leave those in Diaspora alone.

As for Jollof or what ever he calls himself, I'm sure he's only joking.
In as much as I agree with you, I think we shouldn't lose sight of the opportunities Nigeria offers despite the failure of her government.

Nigerians both home and abroad are leaving the opportunities to outsiders because we've failed to tap into the opportunities.

Another issue is integrity, let's learn to place integrity before anything else.

I remember a article here on a foreign based citizen who lost a lot of money due to the mismanagement of his bakery business back home.

Another one who came back only to find out his sister had sold all he had.

If those on ground are honest those abroad may not have to come back. Their cash could help support the desired transformation.

Ethnicity and religion remain major factors in Nigeria's woes and we should take a critical look on how these issues could be resolved in the interest of everyone.
Politics › Re: The Socioeconomic Impact Of The Lagos Okada Ban, One Week After - Nairametrics by PHijo(m): 2:56pm On Feb 08, 2020
What this tells us is that it is in Lagos state's interest that other cities are functional. A very easy solution would be to designate 10 to 20 cities with Abuja's status. Give them top priority in terms of infrastructure. That would help de-congest Lagos.

Cities like Ibadan, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Warri, Calabar, Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Yola etc. Readily come to mind.

Number 1 consideration when picking such cities should be the economy, geography and to a lesser extent ethnicity.

For instance it wouldn't be fair to pick only Ibadan while Enugu and Owerri make the list or vice versa.

Nigeria needs strategic thinkers today more than any time before.

The clock is ticking!

The population explosion of almajiris in the north (conservatively beginning at 20-25 millions) is, in a decade or two, going to provide an inexhaustible supply of jihadists/terrorists/extremists that will definitely be coming over to the south for conquest!!!

The issue is not heterosexual sex or same gender sex. The issue is body fluids. Once there is a exchange of body fluid the possibility of contracting various STDs which include HIV is high.

Anyone that hails Jonathan doesn't really have sense.

Ask Buhari to resign but leave Jonathan out of it.

If he had done well, Buhari will be piggy backing his grandkids in Duara at this moment.
People like you can never have sense!
If you were not smart enough to see Buhari was not a solution in 2015, repeated the same mistake in 2019, then you are beyond irredeemable.

No matter how some of you try to demonize dr Jonathan, history would be fair to him. Despite the bullying by those who think they own Nigeria he was able to change things for good.

You are smart and knowledgeable.
Nevertheless we need an Igbo next otherwise the country will be over.
Igbo are not eager for the presidency. If the country is restructured they don't care if the Fulani maintain the presidency for the next 1,000 years. A space they could express themselves matters more than the presidency.

People have learnt from Jonathan's 5 years, 5 years he didn't get the support of parliament to implement policies that would have benefited his region.

A restructured country is what certain ethnic nations want, not a presidency you would lack support in the parliament.

In summary, STAR BOY PYO will make a good President and Leader
As things stand now, the only Yoruba man that can win a presidential election is Akinwunmi Adesina, the AFDB president. Any other one will be wasting his time and resources.

" Star boy" can start a tour, maybe he could be lucky to get a Grammy nomination like Burna boy. As for the presidency, let him forget it. Maybe Daddy GO still has a pulpit for him.
