There is leadership failure in Nigeria and EVERTHING IS COLLApSING Our leaders are serious failures. The fact that they have money is what we fail to understand. Incidentally, they stole this money from us through corruption. The issue is we are not been ruled by intellectuals. We are been ruled by political thugs who are shallow minded and cannot see beyond their selfish interests. Education, security, economy is collapsing everyday but our leaders have no clue because they have lost the capacity to think and be intellectual. When you alienate intellectualism from leadership, society will disintegrate into war, poverty and anything. We have to realize we have failures as leaders. Okay those in charge of education in the country are simply FAILURES. They are so confused and myopic |
TheSuperNerd:Yes apart from that i was going through rashid yekinis profile and i saw that he has over 500 career goals. I think he is the only African ti achieve this feat. Try and notify the nff (Nigerian football authorities) about this. Eto, drogba etc did not score up to 500 career goals. We need to make it more public. The white people celebrate their heroes and keep records more than us |
TheSuperNerd:I became alerted to his potential when the footballtalentscout website likened him to Victor Osimen. I will shiw you the site later. The boy is going places |
Alhassan muazum ibrahim scored for beershift today in the Belgian second division. The guys career is now rather mediocre. I hope thigs improve from here. He was struggling for game time in the portuguese second division last season before he came to beershoft |
mostob:Manchester United should use players from their academy and forget about the stars they have. They should concentrate on team work and tactics. The kind of formation they want to use and how the players fit into the formation players like iqbal, elanga will improve with time. The set of paul scholes and the like were academy players. If they should buy players they should target players under 25 who want to work and are proud to be manu players. All these stars will lead them to disaster with their lack of commitment. Academy players is the way forward and they should instill discipline and team work on them |
charlesemeka85:Almeria are selfish. They need him to help them escape relegation. They are not desperate for money as they have a rich arab who brought the club a few years ago. A few years from now sadiq umar will start fighting with them as he will be desperate to leave. I suggest he should refuse to sign a contract extension. Next summer willbbe war between sadiq and almeria. They are too selfish and greedy |
BannedLarge:Tactics matter in football. Okay play Cristiano Ronaldo as a central defender and see what will happen. What a player can do is important. Aribo is simply not a central midfielder wven if he plays for real Madrid. Nwakali, iwobi etc is better in passing from midfield. We gave heard about club form. |
TheSuperNerd:Nwakali will prove a lot of people wrong. He will be one of the best players in segunda division and move on to something better. Some clubs are monitoring him but he mist perform. He should take a cue from sadiq umar and play himself out of obscurity |
jihday:Forget this Monaco thing. His effectiveness in the last third of the pitch is needed in the national team These Europeans are funny with our players. Who will see this kind of player and drop him? His coaches at Monaco must be ridiculous Im sure he is the kind of player that can only play in a kind of formation. Monaco made a serious mistake not using him. He is too devastating to be ignored This kind of player can win the Nations cup for us. Europeans again are not GOD and their judgement is not always infallible |
Subzero047:Manchester United have a psychological problem. Maguire should be driven away from the club. As the captain he is infecting the players with his lackadaisical attitude. They should hire a psychologist to psychoanalyze the players. They appear unmotivated and simlly dont care. The team needs discipline, hardwork and leadership. Anyway this wasvhow the golden generation of Super eagles werewas jn france 98 and they were dropped for the 2002 world cup. Manu needs to do something drastic. They should use their academy players. These big names are doing nothing. They badly need leadership. It is not about quality players anymore. |
According tobwikipedia rashid yekini scored over 520 career goals. This is astonishing for an African let alone Nigerian. Not many africans have done that.he deserves commendation for this. Let us see if Osimhen has 500 career goals. Very impressive |
TheSuperNerd:He is from idol football academy in Nigeria. i checked. He went to sweden last year. WHAT pROpONENTS OF HOME BASED pLAYERS DONT REALIZE is that our grassroots football is tied directly to foreing and European leagues. They have bypassed the npfl and go straight to the football academies attached to the grassroots. Any npfl player that you call to the national team is probably from a football academy and will get out of the country in less than a year |
charlesemeka85:Give us the source of your information |
Subzero047:I agree with you. A club in the Belgian league will be good for him. From there he can go further to ac milan. All these big clubs dont develop players. Except he matures fast both emotionally and football wise. He needs development and game time not bench. The time to move to a big league or club will come. |
JohnBullMySon:Creative passing is an essential skill in football. Without creative passing football becomes athletic, unintelligent and it will be difficult ti score. Playwrs like nwakali will allways be needed. Stop worshipping these Europeans tget are not God your maker. Nwakali is simply needed in tge sup5 eagles. Is the English league the only leagur in Europe. As per tackles thud is what guardiola said about tackling. '"I dont play for tackkesvwhat is tackling?" Nwakali will do well this season. Dont worry. I know you hate him but he is needed. |
Mujtahida:I am tired but the absolute truth is that NWAKALI HAS QUALITY. Time will prove us his supporters right If he played against ghana he would have dominated partey and we will be in the world cup now. Europeans are not GOD and we cannot continue to rely on their perception of our players. This aribo you rate is not as important as Nwakali in our team. Even his new coaches at ponferadina know that he is good as he is the one that requested for him. Succeeding in Europe does not allways mean you are better than one that doesnt succeed. no one in our midfield apart from iwobi and maybe alhassan yusuf can control the midfield the way he does. Look, we won the nations cup before our players started going to Europe in the time of Stephen Keshi in the 1980's. he will do well this season and move to a better club. |
isan:We dont need gim. We have too many forwards. Is he even better than Godwin saviour or david okereke |
Victory beniangba to celta vigo from Egyptian club. Of course he is a striker. We are blessed with many talented wingers and strikers. I hope our midfielders can take a cue from our strikers and excel |
TheSuperNerd:It is as if we are genetically wired to be good strikers and wingers. We are good in those posutions in every league in the world. Iys amazing. Any way ehy is collins yora sor not in the math day squad. Is it injury or transfer to a bigger club |
Cecco90:As long as we africans srnc our players to Europe wr have to reach a compromise with them. MOST OF The best players from Africa will end uo in Europe. We all want our best players to play in Europe but then we cant compromise with them |
TheSuperNerd:Look alhassan yusif will soon overtake him as pur best midfielder in a few years time. Im baffled he has not yet been invited. He is a natural midfielder and not a converted one. If he keeps improving a top 5 league team will snap him up Our national team needs natural midfielders and you are righr Joe Aribo is not a natural central midfield conductor Kelechi Nwakali is simply better in that aspect of the game people may underrate him but supernerd to be honest if Kelechi Nwakali or Alhassan Yusuf played against Ghana we would have won. Both or one of them could have taken the midfield from Thomas partey but Eguavon got confused. Time will prove me right. The issue is it takes time to get into these big leagues of Europe but club form is not everthing. Also, ovie ejaria should be drafted into our midfield to see what he can do WE LACK OpTIONS IN MIDFIELD!!!!! |
Danielnino00:There is no money in the Croatian league. It is only in saudi and china that there is money. If he wanted a new experience brazillian and argentine league would have been good. He lacks ambition and the move is not even financially rewarding. Rohr made our players not to go to obscure leagues as he threayened to drop them if they did and i now understand why. Some of our home grown players have a poor mentality and are just not ambitious |
TheSuperNerd:Samuel nnoshiri is about to break into the reak oviedo first team. He is constantly training withthem and he was among the six players picked to play for the first team. I will keep my update on him |
TheSuperNerd:Tolu arokodare u17 set. Also ishaq abdulrazaq of anderletch is part of it. And also adeleye the goalkeeper in Israel. I learnt that team was truly young and some players were even 15 or 16. Youth development allways work in the long run. They lost because they were very toung vut now it paying off at last |
Victor of eletu of ac milan youth team should be capped by Nigeria immediarely. I mean he should be our midfield general from now on. He shoul be seen as the next mikel. Uf he plays well for us ac milan or any other club will have to put him in their first team. Gabj is allready in the first team of barcelona and spain and why not Victor Eletu |
charlesemeka85:By the grace of God this boy will be the next Mikel obi of our generation |
Yeah, i have been monitoring him since he was in division 2 with the same team. These Nordish leagues are like mother leagues. They nurse African players till they are ready for the big leagues He is moving to a big league in a year or two time. Ignoring the Nordish league may seem nice but it is unwise and counter productive because they offer developmental football which is what most Africans need. Look at Kamaldeen Sulemena and our own paul onuachu, frank Onyeka even Mikel played in Norway for sometime TheSuperNerd: |
femianski:Kels needs to go beyond average. Kels is like a student that has the ability to get 90% but he settles for 50% because of his attitude. He is a 2nd class lower student when he can be a first class student. There us a book called the enemy called average. He may rrmain average if he does not work in himself. He needs 3 seasons of scoring 20 goals each season and an ahmed musa like perfomance in the world cup to win afcon pkayer of the year. If not he will remain average. |
TheSuperNerd:Fantastic. The nordish league is a talent developer for Nigerians and africans. They are honest and sincere about developing black players andbselling them to the major leagues of Europe. They fill a hole npfl is not filling |
elyte89:Relax its not. We have young players under 25 all over Europe and in our academies and youth in nigeria. With time they will mature and get there. Our talent development is working so calm down it rakes time. We have solved the problem ffom the root with tome the tree woll grow. Okey there is victor eletu in ac milan youth team and danuel francis in bayern youth team. The most important thing is to find talent from the grassroots and at least our academies and youth teams are doing that. The next thing we have to do is develop our local league. Besides our foreign borns are still there. Calvin bassey can win it one day and among our home grown talents Victor Osimhen is commming close to it |
Justinbright:There are many brilliant writers, mathematicians and inventors in Nigeria. Whu not have a reality show about an inventor. We are too shalow minded in this part of the world |
Anthony nwakaeme to hull city loading. He is a late bloomer and is underrated on this thread. He has the problem mist home griwn talent have: Spending too much time in obscure leagues. He got to tge turkish leafue in gis late 20's. Also he is a late developer as i said before |
