How many players dey throw through pass for history of African football? Lol. Through pass requires creativity, if there is anything African football has always lacked, it is creativity. We have enough players with flair and physicality but the continent is lacking creative players.
This is why you should appreciate Sadiq umar and kelechi nwakali. They are genuinely creative players.
Nwakali creativity could make a difference in this nation's cup
Please help me ask them o. Onyeka that is even better than Ndidi in the EPL this season. Onyeka and Aribo have been our best two midfielders in Europe this season as Ndidi has been struggling with Soumare pairing. No coach will select Nwakali over these guys except by favoritism.

I have a feeling that Nwakali will get to the AFCON and when he gets gametime, he'll put on a howler that will show how far he currently is from the level of the best midfielders in Africa who play for the top clubs in the top leagues in Europe. It is not by being technical or commanding midfield, if you are not on the top level professionally it will show. Imagine Partey and Kessie who have been playing consistently against the best players in the world coming up against Nwakali in midfield. Who do you think will win the duel?
Mark my words, Nwakali will boss them as brain is mightier than brawn.
I have watched enough football to realize this.
Algeria proved it to us in the semi final of afcon 2019 when they bossed the midfield and Etebo ran out of ideas.
The league you play in is overrated.
Midfield conductors are very efficient and difficult to mark and at the end of the day they win matches.
I can vividly remember i used to think like you and underrate Kanu when Nigeria needed to play.
At the end of the day Kanus passing and creativity was needed.
Anyway we can play Nwakali with ndidi and onyeka or even play 4 players in central midfield with one winger
and ask aribo to play close to the box 18 like Lampard.
In a few years from now Nwakali will be in a better team.
What is Thomas partey. Nwakali will take him to the toilet and defeacate on him. He will do gra gra and collect a red card.
Midfield conductors are unique in football and you can keep on underrating these kind of players. Time will prove me right.

One or both of Algeria and Senegal will not reach that finals. This I can tell you, free of charge.

AFCON no be by who get best team in paper. Even Euros no dey follow that pattern, how much more AFCON
Yeah Morocco may not even get anywhere. They often do not do well in the nations cup.
A team like Mali might just defeat them.
We have many underrated players that can do stuff in our team.
We are a tournament team and we have reached the semi final 15 times before and that says something.
Egypt are Mohammed Salah and nothing else. In fact, we have better players than Egypt minus Salah.
Egypt were beaten by South Africa in the last nations cup.
As per Senegal and Algeria, one of them might not go far.
The difference between those two teams and other African teams are overrated.
Burkina faso can beat either of Algeria or Senegal on a good day.
Football is funny.
Burkina faso is full of players from the french, belgian, russsian and North African leagues.
players in these kind of leagues might be better than those in the top 5 leagues.
This is why you see players moving from the lower leagues to top teams and it seems surprising.
We shall see.
These top teams are overrated.
Chidera Ejuke and Onyekuru can surprise everybody and tear the Algerian defence apart if we meet.
We shall see

Nigerians believe that

part of the reasons for suicide in NIgeria is that we have what is called Shame theory.
We bring up our children to be ashamed of everything.

If you carry a plate and it falls in your hand, your parents will make you feel ashamed of it.
As time goes on, the child cannot express his or herself properly and it limits his intelligence and communication.
So when a child runs into problems like a girl child been sexualy harassed by someone around her,
she cannot tell anybody because she will be laughed at even by her elderly ones or parents.
A boy having problems with drugs simply cannot share it because of shame.
This shame theory makes everyone to believe any incident is the end of the world.
We need to be open to talk about issues.
Also the shame theory breeds
1. Ignorance
2. Inability to solve problems
In the name of not been laughed at.
Most people commit suicide because they do not have anyone to talk to without judgment and shame
We need a lot of help in this society

It seems Patrick Viera doesn't rate Eze at all.
Eze has returned from injury in more than a month now and has been making CP bench but till now Vieira still hasn't felt starting him.
I think he has only made a cameo once or twice when Palace were convincingly winning.
Gallagher has taken over and Eze career that started brightly with Palace last season is shacking already this season.
Eberechi Eze should have played for Nigeria.
We need him and he needs us.
It will benefit his career to play for us.
From his own sellfish point of view, an international career with Nigeria will be good for him.
England wont give him more than ten caps and he will get a lot of caps for Nigeria.
Nigeria also needs him and so both sides will benefit.
Im surprised he refused to play for us

Sadly they just do not understand. Even at the peak of JJ's career, there were clubs that would never have signed him because of the way he played. This isn't in anyway trash taking okocha's talent, he is one in a generation player in my opinion, but the way he plays is exactly why top clubs in England didn't sign him.
This is why is is not allways good to rate a player by his club.
A player like peter crouch may seem more relevant to Liverpool in 1995 than Okocha
It depends on your style of play.
With all that Okocha always collected the midfield from manchester united and arsenal anytime
he played against them.
We Nigerians have our style of play we need to be proud of.

did I watch jay jay play at all? Your monicker says it all cus no grown man will tolerate being called a boy let alone adding sugar to it

Football don evolve and that old number 10 role is dying off with rapid effect
How about kevin de bruyne. He is a no ten.
One mans meat is another mans poison.
The way we see football is different.
You can use a so called outdated style of play to beat a modern opponent four nil.
It depends on your perception.
Football needs players that can create space for the attackers to run into.
Bally carrying, chance creation, space creation are needed in football. In fact wingers need space to run into.
no tens have this skill and will allways be needed.

Nwakali to Nice

Ighalo to Newcastle

Where did you get the information from.
Anyway as per Nwakali he really improved last year
At least he played over 35 matches and is now a regular in sd huesca.
He was majestic with alcorcon and saved them from relegation to the third division
and he is playing well with sd huesca
Again where did you get all this information from

MY AFCON ATTACK

Our attack should be Samuel Chukwueze, Chidera Ejuke in the wings
playing just behind Sadiq Umar as our top striker.
This way, we have 3 dribblers in our midfield and attack.
We can even play with 3 defensive midfielders with these kind of players in our attack.
Also, Nwakali can be tried in midfield to see how good he can be.
I mean Nwakali with 2 defensive midfielders.
Iwobi needs help, competition and rest in that midfield role of his.
He is overworked playing for Nigeria.
I just hope Nwakali will take his chance.
If he does not play well, then he has himself to blame
If he plays well, then it will help his career

Well, you people should stop underrating peter Olayinka.
Remember his perfomance against Barcelona
Also, he has been playing well for slavia prague in the last 3 years
and he is one of their best players.
So he could explode in this afcon.

Our depth of talent is due to:
1. Our football academies and grassroots football
2. Our ability to assimilate our foreign born players

That's right
We hope we will have a good amount of friendly matches as Rohr did.
Rohr wasted those opportunities to blood in new players and try out different systems

I look forward with great enthusiasm
It is the musa, ighalo conundrum that is blocking dessers.
When they were clamouring for Ighalo, i was annoyed. Dessers should have played against car and Liberia.
Dessers case proves why we should not ignore foreign borns in the name of loyalty.
Some foreign borns are more loyal than some home grown talent.
Cant we see Dessers seems more commited than emmanuel dennis.
Anyway Musa, Ighalo and moses simon are wasting space in that team.
Better players are queuing up everyday.

Dennis really loved Watford. While other players chose to help their countries, he volunteered to stay and save the club. Greater love has no than this grin grin grin
Dennis should be careful. International football is important.
Another player could start shining a few months from now and it will make us forget about him.
We have many young players scattered in Europe waiting for a chance to shine in the top 5 leagues.
playing at the world cup will boost his reputation to no limits.
This is what made Ahmed Musa earn his place in Nigeria and it is even helping his club career.
If dennis plays well in the nations cup, then he can go to the world cup and play well and this will boost his career
and cement his international career.
Anyone can go and take his place at anytime. Football is unpredictable and fickle.
What if peter olaynka, collins yira sor, akinkunmi amoo etc move to a top 5 league next season and
start doing something spectacular or peter olayinka takes the nations cup by storm and moves
to a better league.
Nigeria has too many good players for him to be doing shakara.
The future will surprise him

Yes, enough is enough. If we’re going to hire foreign coaches because of lack of competence, foreign administrators has to also be employed.. how can someone possibly forget the deadline to send player invitation?? So, they sent ekong name on time while not sending Dennis name?
Watford has no right to keep him.
Instead of fighting for Emmanuel dennis pinnick was fighting for Osimhen.
We can still get Dennis if we press home our issue.
Dennis himself should insist on going.
Nff should not allow themselves to be taken for granted

Striker's well outstanding ones are always on the move, because there is an incessant demand for strikers across all leagues.

Why then has he remained in the Segunda Division for two seasons.
Because Almeria put a hefty price tag on him.
In fact, a lot of clubs (including villareal were interested. Villareal could have brought him if not for the thirty million price tag
and so they brought the Senegalese guy from France instead.
Another bidding war is comming up next summer and even this January Newcastle are interested.
He has been noticed and analyzed by a lot of clubs allready.
His analysis is on

and so next summer will be big for him

Sadiq Umar Don land for camp
Eguavon chose Sadiq Umar because of his creativity.
He is a creative forward with 7 assists allready this season.
A team that struggles to create chances from midfield needs a creative forward like Sadiq Umar.
He can play a a support striker, wing forward, striker and made to roam the final third
while he scores goals and creates chances.
people here wont see things this way and claim he is not good.
But skillset matters in football.
What a player has to offer and how he fits into the system
can be more important than where he plays.
In fact, Man city were once interested in him which shows how technically astute and creative he is.
Guardiola cannot like a player that is not creative and technical
