It is not Rohr's job to scout for local players.

You have still not answered what Salisu is supposed to do if Rohr is scouting local players.

You have still not answered which local players Rohr should scout for, because thee only reason you should be speaking so confidently about scouting local players is if you have a few in mind

You are purposely evading the important points because they don't suit your narrative that Rohr must work like a jacky.

If you cannot recommend these gems in the local league, or tell us what Salisu is doing with his own free time (at least we know Rohr visits players abroad), then everything you arei saying here is okoto meow skrrrr
Chukwuka unuwa is a highly rated play maker in the nigerian league. Heis compared to modric and plays for enyimba even though he used to play for mfm. Incidentally mfm is a good team witg young players. There former coach fidelis illechukwu spots talent. Stephen odey who is now in Belgium used to play for mfm fc

Dead, cold machine football. And it's all down to the the white man's obsession with efficiency.
Call me anything but I dont agree with these maurinho like ideas. Guardiola at man city uses play makers. Creativity is important in football. Another brand of attacking football will defeat these ideas. Guardiolarism emphasis creativity and self expression kevincde bruyne is a play maker

We Africans should create our own original style of football. Efficiency or defensive discipline is overrated.
Its thinking like this that destroyed Mikel.

Abduljeleel Ajagun of Kortick shoul be tried in the attacking midfield role.
He plays in the belgian league regularly and beside iwobi, we are short of options in this position.
He should be tried. I dont know why Rohr is ignoring him. We have a lot of wingers and strikers

Kelechi nwakali should go to salzburg its not too late for him. African players are talented but dont make it in Europe because they need good football education loke salzburg provides.
Also our football academies should partner with salzburg

This is very good. That Monaco coach wants to send him into sheer oblivion and irrelivance. He will still come back to france or a better league or club in future. For now he needs to build his skill, career and reputation. The guy is a good player and the monaco coach is spoilling his image

charlesemeka85:
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that former Everton winger Henry Onyekuru has agreed personal terms with Galatasaray, paving the way for him to join the Turkish champions in the January transfer window.

One of the great young Nigerian talents, Onyekuru has struggled for playing opportunities since joining Monaco in August 2015.

Saturday, December 21 will make it three months that the Super Eagles star has not featured for the Principality outfit.

It is understood that Galatasaray have successfully negotiated a loan move with Monaco and Onyekuru is patiently waiting for the transfer window to open before flying to Turkey to formalize his switch to the Super Lig club.

The 22-year-old had been linked with possible moves to teams in Russia and Spain but Galatasaray are poised to confirm his capture in the coming days.

He enjoyed a successful loan spell at The Yellow-Reds during the 2018-2019 campaign, scoring 16 goals in 44 games and helping them win the domestic double.

The Turkish winter transfer window opens on January 4 and closes for business at the end of next month.

This mathematics is based on probability. Probability and statistics are the sciences of inexactness. If a player does not play well
given he has less minutes per game to prove himself, the probability that he is a bad player is maybe 55% BUT if a player does not play well and he features for 90 minutes everytime, then the probability he is a bad player is probably 85%.

Now players perform badly for different reasons it might be formation, loss of interest or anything. some players play well in one club and do not play well in another club. Miky batshuayi's probability of being a bad player is 55%.
One interesting variation is Kelechi Iheanacho. He does not play often but the few times he plays, he plays well and even scores and thus the jury is still out on him. If Iheanacho moves to another club where he is featured regularly, then he will play well as he has proven himself with the few chances he has.
However, probs and stats is not an exact science

komekn:
That's not what l am saying.

My position has been consistent and without variation.

My view is very simple, More Minutes played is not a mathematical equation that automatically equates to more goals will be scored.

For example how many minutes did Solanke get at Liverpool. Not a lot but did he do anything substantial with it CAPITAL NO. That's why they didn't give him anymore minutes to waste and sold him to the mugus Bournemouth.

So now he has gone to Bournemouth for £20 million and is playing a way lot more minutes than he has ever done. How many goals has he scoredhuh ❓ Zero NUTTIN.

This your theory and or assumption is just WISHFUL THINKING.
SportsRe: Leicester V Norwich: Why I Substituted Iheanacho Before Halftime--rodgers by Philosopher1979: 8:47am On Dec 17, 2019
Saying kelechi iheanacho is not a good player shows your ignorance of football. He is unique as he is a false 9. Your sheer ignorance shows your lack of understanding of who a false 9 is. Stop demonstrating your ignorance to me. He entered man city as a teenager. The problem is that he is not too good as a winger and he can only play begind the striker. Saying he is not a good player is a combination of madness and ignorance

Since the introduction of mri machine we dont use overage players for youth competition and it is helping our foitball. I have said it many times. Iheanacho is a false 9. His pattern is like messi, dybala or firmino. You play him with a striker and give him the chance to roam in midfield and attack. It is not his fault his coaches dont appreciate his style of play.
Ok is firmino a striker or midfielder. He needs someoqne that understands and beleives in him
AT HIS BEST HE IS A UNIQUE PLAYER

I think Victor Osimhen can play in Manchester united. Hey Victor fans lets go to Manu page and presurize them. The need a center forward. I hope they get him instead of Halland (that boy from Norway).
Manu strikers are at worst average and at best inconsistent.

He needs playing time to get back in form

WHY THE GOLDEN GENERATION COULD HAVE REACHED THE SEMI-FINAL OF THE WORLD CUP

The golden generation of the 94 to 2010 super eagles could have reached the semi-finals of the world cup and perhaps won more nations cups BUT for some unfortunate reasons

1. SACKING COACHES AND PLAYERS AT THE LAST MINUTE TO A COMPETITION: This happened in france 98 and 2002 world cup. You see you do not change your coach months before a competion. Prior to France 98, we hired a new coach which was disastrous. We should have continued with Trousier or at least hired a coach who was already part of Nigerian football to continue with the team. Bonfere or even Amodu will be better. You dont change a winning coach or team.
It was worse at the 2002 world cup. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE DISBANDED THAT TEAM. THAT TEAM COULD HAVE AT LEAST REACHED THE QUATER-FINALS. IT HAD THE RIGHT BLEND OF TALENT AND EXPERIENCE. SACKING MOST OF THE PLAYERS WAS A TRAGEDY FOR NIGERIAN AND AFRICAN FOOTBALL. Amodu should have just managed the teams ego and indiscipline. WE LOST A GREAT OPPORTUNITY. WE DID NOT REALIZE THAT YOU CANNOT BUILD A WINNING TEAM IN A FEW WEEKS.
BY THE way amode should have been left with the team in 2010. the revolution should have started AFTER THE WORLD CUP.

2. INDISCIPLINE AND COMPLACENCY ON PART OF THE PLAYERS: This was why we did not qualify for the 2006 world cup. We were so careless that when we woke up and defeated Algeria 5 2, it was too late (by the way i remember that sweet Kanu dribble against Algeria). and Angola qualified ahead of us. Again we could have made a quaterfinal in the 2006 world cup if we had qualified.

we need to understand how to develop a winning team. If our team is going through periods of indisipline, sacking everybody (players and coaches) does not help.

3. NOT GOING TO THE NATIONS CUP IN 96 AND 98: IF WE HAD GONE, THE TEAM WILL HAVE DEVELOPED FURTHER DUE TO COMPETITIVE FOOTBALL.

IN CONCLUSION I SUGGEST WE LIVE ROHR WITH HIS WEAKNESSES UNTIL 2022 AND THEN WE CAN BRING IN ANOTHER COACH. THIS TEAM IS DEVELOPING AND IT WILL BE SUICIDE TO CHANGE IT.
I DONT BLAME OUR FOOTBALL ADMINISTRATORS AS THEY DID NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND HOW TO DEVELOP FOOTBALL AND THE DYNAMICS OF A WINNING TEAM.
NOW THAT WE HAVE LEARNT FROM HISTORY, WE SHOULD NOT REPEAT OUR MISTAKES. IF THE PRESENT BUNCH OF VICTOR OSIMEHN, SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE, IWOBI AND CO START MISBEHAVING WE SHOULD HANDLE THEM WITH CARE AND NOT START SACKING PLAYER AND COACH. WE SEEM TO BE PRODUCING ANOTHER GOLDEN GENERATION AND WE MUST LET CONSISTENCY BE OUR WATCHWORD

Victor Osimhen is TACTICALLY AND TECHNICALLY OUTSTANDING
and might be better than we think. In fact, a tactical analysis of Osimhen shows he may be one of the best strikers in Europe right now.
HE IS BETTER THAN WE THINK.
HE CAN BE BETTER THAN DROGBA BECAUSE DROGBA AT 21 WAS VERY AVERAGE WHICH SHOWS HE IS A FAST DEVELOPER

http://youaremyarsenal.com/victor-osimhen-2019-20-scout-report-tactical-analysis-tactics/

"Combining Osimhen’s intelligent movements with the talented skillset, the youngster possesses and you have someone with the potential to be a world-class striker.

“He always knows where the goal is even when he receives the ball with his back to goal he is able to quickly turn and make a shot. His finishes are lethal as he generates immense power on them."

quote youaremyarsenal.com

However, he is very young BUT HIS POTENTIAL IS SCARY TO SAY THE LEAST

if Godwin Imama had done well with the home based team. Rohr will not need to go round. He simply could have contacted Imama about the issue of the best players in the Nigerian league. Unfortunately Imama is suspect and incompetent. In fact, CAF introducted home based nations cup for this reason of harnessing talents in the local league. Godwin Imama just made Rohr's job harder in this regard. I am sure Siasia should have done a better job if not for the ban.
Anyway, Godwin Imama can still help him out. In my humble opinion, chukwuka onuwa of Enyimba can be a good substitute for iwobi as a play maker in the Nigerian team

TheGoodJoe:
Very few European clubs will give our coaches jobs despite how good they are.

By the way, I am glad they have pointed out that Rohr should watch the local league. He has been too poor in that respect and people keep quiet about it. Wish him the best but Rohr needs to show improvement with respect to harnessing talents from the local scene.

You are right. I think Uzoho is a star in the making. He even has international exposure. Making good saves against the likes of Messi, Gabriel Jesus and Aguero. Uzoho may be a prodigy compared to the upstart called Ejimadu. I think most people are the fans of foreign born players and assume they are better.
Uzoho is pure quality and at a young age he is making amazing progress. Ejimadu is nonsense compared to him

Kbs468:
Which Ejimadu is better than UZOHO in a US division 3 club?

Which kangaroo award by Fans in division 3 in only 12 Matches under his belt? Hasn't he been conceding Goals at all?

Please just check the below for yourself.

PHILIP EJIMADU

Ejimadu played in the youth academy of Nacional Atlético Clube in São Paulo, Brazil before returning to the United States to go pro.

He signed with Major League Soccer outfit, Los Angeles FC on February 21, 2019.

On March 29, 2019, Ejimadu went on a season-long loan to third-division, FC Tucson.

The next day, Ejimadu made his professional debut for FC Tucson starting the entire match in a 3–1 victory at Orlando City B.

International

Ejimadu is eligible to represent Brazil, Nigeria, and the United States on the international level.

In 2018, he was called into the training camp for the United States under-20 national team.

FRANCIS UZOHO

Born in Nwangele, Uzoho joined the Senegal branch of Aspire Academy in 2013, aged 14;initially a forward, he was converted into a goalkeeper after being deemed "too slow" at the age of 12.

In 2016, after impressing on a tournament in Barcelona, he joined Deportivo de La Coruña's Juvenil squad.

Age rules meant that Uzoho could only become available to sign a contract with Dépor in January 2017;[6] shortly after signing his contract, he started to train with the first team.

Promoted to the reserve team ahead of the 2017–18 season, he made his senior debut on 10 September by starting in a 3–0 Segunda División B home win against Real Madrid Castilla.

Uzoho made his first team – and La Liga – debut on 15 October 2017, starting in a 0–0 away draw against SD Eibar.

At the age of 18 years and 352 days, he became the youngest ever foreign goalkeeper to debut in La Liga, and the second-youngest player to appear in the league during the campaign, only behind Real Madrid's Achraf Hakimi.

On 24 August 2018, Uzoho renewed his contract for three seasons and was immediately loaned to Segunda División side Elche CF for one year.

In February 2019 he moved on loan to Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta, in the search for more first-team football in the run up to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

After making his debut for the club, concerns were raised about his health certificate. As a result, Anorthosis Famagusta were deducted 9 points, which they appealed.

The club's deduction appeal was rejected, although Uzoho's appeal against his personal penalty of a one-match ban and €1,000 fine was successful.

In July 2019 he returned on loan to Cyprus, this time with Omonia. He said he hoped his return to the country would be positive.

International

Uzoho represented Nigeria under-17s at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Aged only 14, he was an immediate backup to Dele Alampasu.

In October 2017 Uzoho received his first call-up to the Nigerian senior squad. He made his full international debut on 14 November, replacing Daniel Akpeyi in a 4–2 friendly win against Argentina.

He was named in Nigeria's 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. By that time he was considered Nigeria's first-choice goalkeeper.

He withdrew from the national squad in November 2018 due to injury.

He was a squad member at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Francis Uzoho was in goal for Nigeria in the 3rd place match against Tunisia.

In October 2019 he suffered a ligament injury in a friendly match against Brazil, and underwent surgery in November 2019.
