safarigirl:Chukwuka unuwa is a highly rated play maker in the nigerian league. Heis compared to modric and plays for enyimba even though he used to play for mfm. Incidentally mfm is a good team witg young players. There former coach fidelis illechukwu spots talent. Stephen odey who is now in Belgium used to play for mfm fc |
Iheanacho in the team for leicester today. Match at 6 30pm |
Blueelf:It took klopp 4 years to win trophies for liverpool while it took pep one year to win trophies for man city |
Mujtahida:Call me anything but I dont agree with these maurinho like ideas. Guardiola at man city uses play makers. Creativity is important in football. Another brand of attacking football will defeat these ideas. Guardiolarism emphasis creativity and self expression kevincde bruyne is a play maker We Africans should create our own original style of football. Efficiency or defensive discipline is overrated. Its thinking like this that destroyed Mikel. |
Abduljeleel Ajagun of Kortick shoul be tried in the attacking midfield role. He plays in the belgian league regularly and beside iwobi, we are short of options in this position. He should be tried. I dont know why Rohr is ignoring him. We have a lot of wingers and strikers |
Kelechi nwakali should go to salzburg its not too late for him. African players are talented but dont make it in Europe because they need good football education loke salzburg provides. Also our football academies should partner with salzburg ChrisKels: |
Where did u get the information from. His case is a transfer saga like that of a teenage mikel jihday: |
Why did you say so? Do you watch his matches. I may be wrong but maybe he should stay at lille for 1 to 2 years to fully develop his game. His stats are very good anyway and people are singing his praises all over and i am even one of his fans. BUT young players need time to grow and learn. ARE YOU SURE HE IS READY FOR ENGLAND, SPAIN AND THE BIG LEAGUES AND CLUBS ONLY TIME WILL TELL zuchyblink: |
Is kelechi nwakali sinking into oblivion? He is not even making sd huesca bench. I hope this is not another rabiu ibrahim or our failed youth products. He may end up in the finish league if care is not taken. Anyway he still has age on his side |
This is very good. That Monaco coach wants to send him into sheer oblivion and irrelivance. He will still come back to france or a better league or club in future. For now he needs to build his skill, career and reputation. The guy is a good player and the monaco coach is spoilling his image charlesemeka85: |
This mathematics is based on probability. Probability and statistics are the sciences of inexactness. If a player does not play well given he has less minutes per game to prove himself, the probability that he is a bad player is maybe 55% BUT if a player does not play well and he features for 90 minutes everytime, then the probability he is a bad player is probably 85%. Now players perform badly for different reasons it might be formation, loss of interest or anything. some players play well in one club and do not play well in another club. Miky batshuayi's probability of being a bad player is 55%. One interesting variation is Kelechi Iheanacho. He does not play often but the few times he plays, he plays well and even scores and thus the jury is still out on him. If Iheanacho moves to another club where he is featured regularly, then he will play well as he has proven himself with the few chances he has. However, probs and stats is not an exact science komekn: |
Saying kelechi iheanacho is not a good player shows your ignorance of football. He is unique as he is a false 9. Your sheer ignorance shows your lack of understanding of who a false 9 is. Stop demonstrating your ignorance to me. He entered man city as a teenager. The problem is that he is not too good as a winger and he can only play begind the striker. Saying he is not a good player is a combination of madness and ignorance Kallmerb: |
How mri machine saved Nigerian and african football Since the introduction of mri machine we dont use overage players for youth competition and it is helping our foitball. Since 2009 (,when fifa introduced it) we have started producing truly young players Victor Osimhen Iheanach Samuel cukwueze Ramon Azeez are products of this. THIS present u17 team will go places watch out for Akinkunmi Amoo |
I have said it many times. Iheanacho is a false 9. His pattern is like messi, dybala or firmino. You play him with a striker and give him the chance to roam in midfield and attack. It is not his fault his coaches dont appreciate his style of play. Ok is firmino a striker or midfielder. He needs someoqne that understands and beleives in him AT HIS BEST HE IS A UNIQUE PLAYER |
I think Victor Osimhen can play in Manchester united. Hey Victor fans lets go to Manu page and presurize them. The need a center forward. I hope they get him instead of Halland (that boy from Norway). Manu strikers are at worst average and at best inconsistent. Osimhen will shine in manu i swear |
All he needs is a chance. The boy is still very talented. Ithink he is misunderstood he us a false 9 like firmino or messi and not A striker like lukaku. This boy can do wonder s if he gets a coach that understands him. He woll explode iinin Turkey if he goes there. He needs playing time to get back in form DrKlever: |
What i don't understand about Moses Simon is that he does not play well for Nigeria andrewbaba44: |
Etebo played well in nigeria vs croatia and Nigeria vs uceland in the world cup. Match commentators even applauded him chrisooblog: |
Esiti is a carpenter player. He is just average or even pure rubush. Alhassan Yusuf should at least be on standby lust Eartquake1: |
WHY THE GOLDEN GENERATION COULD HAVE REACHED THE SEMI-FINAL OF THE WORLD CUP The golden generation of the 94 to 2010 super eagles could have reached the semi-finals of the world cup and perhaps won more nations cups BUT for some unfortunate reasons 1. SACKING COACHES AND PLAYERS AT THE LAST MINUTE TO A COMPETITION: This happened in france 98 and 2002 world cup. You see you do not change your coach months before a competion. Prior to France 98, we hired a new coach which was disastrous. We should have continued with Trousier or at least hired a coach who was already part of Nigerian football to continue with the team. Bonfere or even Amodu will be better. You dont change a winning coach or team. It was worse at the 2002 world cup. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE DISBANDED THAT TEAM. THAT TEAM COULD HAVE AT LEAST REACHED THE QUATER-FINALS. IT HAD THE RIGHT BLEND OF TALENT AND EXPERIENCE. SACKING MOST OF THE PLAYERS WAS A TRAGEDY FOR NIGERIAN AND AFRICAN FOOTBALL. Amodu should have just managed the teams ego and indiscipline. WE LOST A GREAT OPPORTUNITY. WE DID NOT REALIZE THAT YOU CANNOT BUILD A WINNING TEAM IN A FEW WEEKS. BY THE way amode should have been left with the team in 2010. the revolution should have started AFTER THE WORLD CUP. 2. INDISCIPLINE AND COMPLACENCY ON PART OF THE PLAYERS: This was why we did not qualify for the 2006 world cup. We were so careless that when we woke up and defeated Algeria 5 2, it was too late (by the way i remember that sweet Kanu dribble against Algeria). and Angola qualified ahead of us. Again we could have made a quaterfinal in the 2006 world cup if we had qualified. we need to understand how to develop a winning team. If our team is going through periods of indisipline, sacking everybody (players and coaches) does not help. 3. NOT GOING TO THE NATIONS CUP IN 96 AND 98: IF WE HAD GONE, THE TEAM WILL HAVE DEVELOPED FURTHER DUE TO COMPETITIVE FOOTBALL. IN CONCLUSION I SUGGEST WE LIVE ROHR WITH HIS WEAKNESSES UNTIL 2022 AND THEN WE CAN BRING IN ANOTHER COACH. THIS TEAM IS DEVELOPING AND IT WILL BE SUICIDE TO CHANGE IT. I DONT BLAME OUR FOOTBALL ADMINISTRATORS AS THEY DID NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND HOW TO DEVELOP FOOTBALL AND THE DYNAMICS OF A WINNING TEAM. NOW THAT WE HAVE LEARNT FROM HISTORY, WE SHOULD NOT REPEAT OUR MISTAKES. IF THE PRESENT BUNCH OF VICTOR OSIMEHN, SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE, IWOBI AND CO START MISBEHAVING WE SHOULD HANDLE THEM WITH CARE AND NOT START SACKING PLAYER AND COACH. WE SEEM TO BE PRODUCING ANOTHER GOLDEN GENERATION AND WE MUST LET CONSISTENCY BE OUR WATCHWORD |
REMEMBER EJIKE UZOENYI can anybody remember ejike uzoenyi very creative player in CHAN. I am stunned he never made anything out of his career when he went to South Africa. Till today, i wonder why. He was such a dissapointment |
Ighalo was average until he went to watford. He was a late bloomer even though he showed some promise when playing in u20 for Nigeria. Even at his best, he lacked mobility. ChrisKels: |
Victor Osimhen is TACTICALLY AND TECHNICALLY OUTSTANDING and might be better than we think. In fact, a tactical analysis of Osimhen shows he may be one of the best strikers in Europe right now. HE IS BETTER THAN WE THINK. HE CAN BE BETTER THAN DROGBA BECAUSE DROGBA AT 21 WAS VERY AVERAGE WHICH SHOWS HE IS A FAST DEVELOPER http://youaremyarsenal.com/victor-osimhen-2019-20-scout-report-tactical-analysis-tactics/ "Combining Osimhen’s intelligent movements with the talented skillset, the youngster possesses and you have someone with the potential to be a world-class striker. “He always knows where the goal is even when he receives the ball with his back to goal he is able to quickly turn and make a shot. His finishes are lethal as he generates immense power on them." quote youaremyarsenal.com However, he is very young BUT HIS POTENTIAL IS SCARY TO SAY THE LEAST |
if Godwin Imama had done well with the home based team. Rohr will not need to go round. He simply could have contacted Imama about the issue of the best players in the Nigerian league. Unfortunately Imama is suspect and incompetent. In fact, CAF introducted home based nations cup for this reason of harnessing talents in the local league. Godwin Imama just made Rohr's job harder in this regard. I am sure Siasia should have done a better job if not for the ban. Anyway, Godwin Imama can still help him out. In my humble opinion, chukwuka onuwa of Enyimba can be a good substitute for iwobi as a play maker in the Nigerian team TheGoodJoe: |
Are you sure. can you come out with substantial evidence to support your claim. I mean give me concrete examples and logical arguments. I want an explanation i am not saying you are right or wrong kellycute: |
Pinnick should try and contact a player like Alhassan Yusuf in sweeden if eze keeps snubbing him. I am not saying he is better but at least, he is available and decent. i read he is the best player in the sweedish league and he is only 20. We should give him a chance and let him prove what he can do instead of chasing shadows Kbs468: |
You are right. I think Uzoho is a star in the making. He even has international exposure. Making good saves against the likes of Messi, Gabriel Jesus and Aguero. Uzoho may be a prodigy compared to the upstart called Ejimadu. I think most people are the fans of foreign born players and assume they are better. Uzoho is pure quality and at a young age he is making amazing progress. Ejimadu is nonsense compared to him Kbs468: |
there is a trophy attached to it with the advent of Big Brother Africa. That is why i am against that programme. We should stop showing programmes that promote immorality. It is giving our youths the wrong impression maximusprime2000: |
even if she goes to court, what is the evidence that she did not consent to the release of the video? Was their any written evidence, she did not want it to be displayed? The school CANNOT support her in anyway as sexual immorality is not part of the aims and objectives of Babcock. The best the school can do is reduce it to a one year suspension instead of expelling her. She only has herself to blame |
Babcock is a brand for academic excellence. She did not make scientific discovery or achieve any intellectual excellence in any endeavour. If the school does not punish her it means they support immorality Maybe she can go into pornography or act big brother the girl herself is stupid philip0906: |
I THINK ROHR SHOULD STAY UNTIL 2022 WORLD CUP. THAT WAY HE WILL BUILD A STRONG TEAM HE HAS TRIED AND HE AT LEAST HAS SOMETHING TO OFFER WE SHOULD JUST WORK ON THE FACT THAT HE SHOULD LIVE IN NIGERIA AND TRY AND USE HOME BASED PLAYERS. LET US LEAVE HIM AS COACH I WANT TO KNOW PEOPLE'S OPINION ON THIS. SHOULD ROHR STAY UNTIL 2022 WORLD CUP OR LEAVE NEXT YEAR I PERSONALLY BELEIVE HE SHOULD STAY AS THE ADVANTAGES ARE MORE THAN THE DISADVANTAGES. HE SEEMS TO BE BUILDING A STRONG TEAM THAT CAN DOMINATE AFRICAN AND WORLD FOOTBALL FOR SOME TIME TO COME |
