the problem is that she insisted that it is too much that I should not spend more than 500k that's been a problem to us but later settle it. because she won't just listen to me she wants me to spend less than that the reason why I wanted to spend more than 1 million Naira was because she deserves it.

So because of that we adjusted the marriage to three months time since it's just 500k I am spending now my question is can I spend 500k for a moderate marriage? And I wanted to do something tangible for her because she deserve more than everything I have, please what other things can I do for her that will be equivalent to everything she has done for me.

Since we have been dating she has never asked me for big money and also when ever I give her she always tells me that she gat money that no need to give her, in fact she love me so much that she don't even accept money from me unless gift. Now I want to do something tangible for her because since I have been dating her she doesn't allow me spent on her that much, and she doesn't complain.

To be candid,your woman is not a Nigerian lady by character. The ones I know would even suggest you spend up to 3million so that their wedding would become the talk of town.

Let me not bore you guys with my relationship history but this girl is my first love, i met her while i was in school 300l. Because of my nature i don't believe someone's bad nature should change my own nature so i still sent her some money because i also no she is broke.

Since then i just forgot about what she did and all of those stuffs because my money kept coming and i don't keep grudges i keep taking care of her. Now i had issue with my business i want to fix something up i was also telling her. this girl went ahead to start asking me to send her money. It has been observed that Nigerian governors love building overpasses .They are so obsessed about it .And after building it,they enjoy posting it online to receive accolades for good performance . I'm not sure who started the trend but it seems to have become a mainstay and prerequisite for what is considered development by Nigerians.
It's become so bad that even if a Nigerian governor fails in other areas , he or she would be venerated for building one or two overpasses and other vanity structures outside of the realm of government's obligation. With that said , The Nigerian governors and by extension the citizens have wrong perception of the purpose of an overpass. The truth is that most of Nigeria's towns do not need overpasses , all they need are wider roads and traffic signs . Overpasses are meant for like freeways ,especially around interchanges , which Nigeria has none of . Most of the Nigerian overpasses i've seen look so out of place . Perhaps only Abuja and Lagos and to some extent Onitsha expressway even look like freeways and would need a few .

I think wider roads would do than overpasses. A few overpasses would do where needed ,and when there's actually real freeways . Nigerian governors , Please stop embarrassing the world by building vanity structures that are outside government's obligation.

Overpasses are a necessary necessity.
Have you ever wonder why skyscrapers are being built? Skyscraper saves the land around you as you can build towards the sky with no limit. Creating wider roads consumes more land then overpasses safes you the headache.

In years to come, those places you don't see reason why there should be an overpasses would be in need of it. Population increases on the daily and so also vehicular movements. Better to prepare now and I think Lagos State should be a good example,they never expected traffic would ever look like what it is now.
