Hello everyone,
I have been a silent reader.
I just got my ppr today.
My application was a very funny one, I submitted in January this year and I had no request letter neither did my eligibility review change until I got my passport request today. I was worried and had so much anxiety everytime that I had to stop coming on here because it felt overwhelming for me.
My timeline goes like this:
Submitted - January 27th
Confirmation- January 28th
Biometrics- January 28th
Upfront medicals- March 9th
Medicals updated to pass- March 15th
Bvl and passport request - April 27th
Ps : Today makes it exactly 3 months I submitted my application.
To everyone still hoping for a good news and waiting for ppr I pray you receive your miracle.
Shout out to Ircc cause they have thought me patience on this experience.

This isn't ghost update. It just simply means your account has been updated with ur score and u are officially in the Express Entry pool

Hello everyone,
I created and submitted my profile yesterday with crs 415 though my husband's ECA is not out yet and he hasn't done his IELTS. I received an email this morning that my application has been updated, I logged in to my account but I wouldn't find anything new, please what is the meaning of this? Is this what is called ghost update? If yes, can someone without ITA get ghost update?

Hello people.. I went for a follow up interview at the Lagos embassy yesterday. Visa was approved.

Not many questions were asked but all my documents were checked including itemized bills.
The rate of refusal was very intimidating..i was there for over an hour and only about 2 or 3 visas were approved! Blue papers were flying all over.

My advice to returning moms please stay away from hospitals that dont itemize services and also low priced ones.

Hello house, I am so happy right now cos my Dropbox status just changed to issued.
First visa was in 2014 for vacation, I wasn't pregnant then. I used for it in March 2016, then renewed via Dropbox in 2016 and used it for birthing purpose.
I delivered in Maryland and got a total bill of $12,500+ for everything. Paid $7,500+ and was put on payment plan for the balance.
I followed the payment plan strictly and paid all within a year.
Decided to renew now although I am not pregnant but I intend travelling in December for holiday. At first my husband said we shouldn't use dropbox and just go for interview but I was able to convince him to lets make use of the dropbox then if they call us for interview we will go since I have all my receipts and itemized statement of bill with zero balance.
Application was submitted on the 30th of July.
Application received and case opened on 31st July. Then the waiting game started, thereafter the Abuja embassy was closed. I nearly died of anxiety. Status changed to Adminstrative processing on 21st August then to Issued today 23rd August.
I am just so happy I wasn't called for interview.

I use Quaker oaths, I don't blend before cooking. After cooking I pour inside blender then add 1and half banana(I heard too much banana can constipate baby so I am always careful) and blend together. it comes out creamy and yummy then I add his formula and spoon feed him. Trust me its really nice.

Mummy ibeji pls don't be tired, I also tried the beans yesterday and same thing happened, I will still try it again sha. Babies are like that they reject it at first but you try again till you get how they like it. My boy rejected oaths and rice cereal at first but took it when I blended it with banana. He takes pap very well, semo and amala with ewedu and eats rice with me when I am eating. May Jehovah bless all our efforts. to them.

Hmmmn, sincerely speaking, I am so tired and exhausted. I made the beans this afternoon, they tasted just three spoons as usual and refused taking it again. I don't know what else to do, I have tried almost every cereal I know, semi draw soup, Pap, bought august secrets foods yet they won't eat. All they want is breast milk, then they ear mashed yam / potatoes and butter well. They dont take formular alone except i mix with cereal even that only three spoons. I am exhausted !

Don't give up dear, when my baby rejected oaths too what I did was to blend banana with the oaths then mix with his formula and guess what he loves it. You can try that too.

The same thing happened to me in Maryland, fortunately my husband was with me. We went to the vital records office and we were given an affidavit form to fill and sign in the presence of a notary public then take it back to vital records and was issued a new one same day. The mistake also affected the SSN, I went to their office with my international passport and a new one was sent to me the next day.

Yes, I have. Would like to know if anyone else has had same issue. The process appears quite complicated and would involve DH coming over.

I decided to make homemade meals for my daughter.

Examples of what she takes:

1. Sweet potatoes+chicken+peas
2. Millet/Guineacorn pap + apples + milk (I make the pap by myself)
3. Ground rice + carrot + milk
4. Oats +banana + milk
5. Maize pap + peanut butter or avocado + milk
5. Irish potatoes + carrots + fish

All these meals listed above, I blend them to puree, add formula before giving it to her. You can try to play around recipes too. Check mummysyum.com; you will get nice ideas

Hello drafrican, sorry to bother you again I am trying to order for my baby's birth certificate on vitalchek and its asking for my ssn to place the order, I even tried using 4 zeros but it still not going, is there another way of doing it. I filled the form at the hospital though but I don't know how to go about it or check if its ready. I just don't want to waste time in processing the documents. Please how did you get yours. After you have ur birth certificate (I did 2)
For the American passport I downloaded the form and filled them don't sign you take it to a notary public at DHL office or I think regular post office with all required documents and a notary public officer will be there and you and hubby (I Donno d process if hubby is absent) sign in his presence and he attaches his signature with ur passports photocopies and pix then you head to Howard county library and pay for expedited had my baby's pix taken there too.
For the Nigerian one you go to the website note how much and what name to address the postal/money order to,there is a place to write ur baby's name then we sent it expedited.they sent us a mail when they received it but for my friend they delayed so she headed to the consulate with the photocopy and all documents speak Yoruba well and pay for expedited you wud get it same day or next,if ur impatient u can get a visa ,the American passport took the longest

You are close to the naija consulate it's a few hrs drive do d online payment and when u get a date pay for expedited wud b out next day.
