7 years later... I am here to announce my BFP here again o. What can I say but to thank Jehovah God.
Team November here again o.
phummy1821:
Good evening to all mamas in the house, with great joy, happiness and grateful heart to God I am glad to say after 4 years and for the time time in my 32 years on earth I finally got my BFP today. Uhmmmmmm it was such a long and tiring journey but I give all praise and honor God. I did hysterocopy in August 2014 and iui last year February but it failed, one mama on iui/ivrcthread gave information about one hospital she used in india I contacted them in November, did all the required tests and was set to go to lagos for visa when suddenly my husband said he wasn't interested again, I was devastated I stopped taking all medications even folic acid, started eating all the things I stopped eating cos of ttc in short I was depressed. It even affected my love life with my husband, fast forward to February 14 this year my husband surprised me by taking out to spend the night in one of the biggest hotel in town apologised for cancelling the india trip which was suppose to be in February and informed me that he had made appointment with our doctor for another iui in April, we made up and had a nice time. My sisters the result of which came out to be BFP today. I just want to encourage all that God is still there, He listen to prayers and make things beautiful at his own right time, even though Satan makes our problem look so big we forget to thank God for other things that count. Jehovah God that remembered me even when I thought he has forgotten about me will remember and show mercy to all mamas in the house. So according to an online calculator another #teamnovember here grin. Pls o mama what is the next thing to do now, can I resume my folic acid now or pregnnacare? I be JJC o

IT'S PPR
#January24th2021applicant
Family application
Primary applicant: Husband 43
Spouse (me): 37

LONG POST ALERT

You are too faithful to fail me
You are too faithful to disappoint me
You’ve proven yourself in my live
And I have to realize
You’re too faithful to fail me

You’re too loving to leave me
You’re too loving to leave me halfway
What you start
You always finish
Lord I‘ve to realize
That You’re too loving to leave

Application submitted: 24th of January 2021
Biometrics: 26th of January 2021
Upfront medicals: 19th of May 2021
Medicals updated: 20th of May 2021
I ordered 3 GCMS notes but nothing tangible was there, kept sending emails to them from time to time yet nothing.

8th of September 2021: PPR for my husband
I thought mine will come in the next days or weeks bot for where grin grin. We were happy but couldn't really celebrate it as we wanted to go as a family.
October
November
December nothing still. So I contacted the MP of my husband’s school. She got back to me in January 2022 and ask for my proof of vaccination which I sent to her immediately.
On the 8th of January, exactly 4 months after my husband’s PPR I started sending 10 emails to them daily at exactly 8am in the morning. It became a routine for me.
Later the London office which is our secondary office replied me that they can't trace my application. I started crying and told my husband let's reapply through the new portal.
Last week Saturday, Nairobi office replied me that I should send evidence of my husband’s enrollment which I did immediately.
This morning I was about to send the 10 emails when I received email from Abuja that I should log in and check my account. Lo and behold my PPR was there.

After a year of submitting a family application and over 4 months of my husband’s approval, IRCC finally released my PPR.

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED
For my husband:
All IRCC forms
SOP
Introduction letter from work
Leave approval from work
Bank statements
Admission letter
Deposit receipt
Properties documents (4)

For myself:
Introduction letter from work
SOP
Leave approval from work
Salary account
Marriage Certificate
Family pictures
Our son American birth certificate

All in all I give all the praise to Jehovah, the wait was not easy. It affected my mental health especially when I think of the probability of my husband leaving us behind. He already started his classes online.

Sorry to hear about that. Have your spouse in Canada tried to contact their MP about this yet?

Hello, I am also in this situation. Submitted together with my husband on the 24th of January, my husband's application was approved on the 8th of September. I have been waiting since then for my own passport request. I have sent countless emails and webform to them, I send at least 6 emails daily yet nothing. Pls what else can I do? I have been waiting for over 2 months now.

Akannitommy:
Hi,

Congratulations! Send your own passport immediately. Once it is stamped, you will likely get a request for your wife. There is nothing to worry about. You have already crossed the main hurdle. If there is a problem with your wife's application, it would most probably have affected yours too. So I don't think you or your wife should worry rather be grateful and send your passport to Abuja ASAP!

It was likely the case of a lazy VO who didn't finish his work once or madam's case require one or more item to finalize (on theirs or your end). You will know only after you send your passport. BUT add a letter of explanation to the passport or you may risk sending for madam and support it with a LOE. They may treat both together; however, I don't trust our people at VFS to use wisdom.

When my kids study permit was approved and their mother's SOWP and brother's visit visa was pending, my MP said I should send all 4 passports and add a LOE but I DIDN'T comply for fear our people at VFS may get cranky and return or put those with PPR aside. So a day after counterfoil showed online, the PPR for my wife son showed and we then sent their own passports.

It shall end finally in praises.

Hello nairaland family, I just found out this forum. Please I have an urgent question.
I submitted my application with my wife (SOWP) application.
Program is fully funded PhD. I submitted NSE requirements (IELTS, and MBS), but my spouse didn't do IELTS .
But we submitted every other necessary documents (marriage certificate with photos, wife's academic certificates, proof of her works). Note that I showed financial capacity to take care of her.
My worries: My study permit has been approved yesterday, but her application is yet to be finalized, I thought both applications should be finalized at the same time?

Can anyone give me an idea why her application is yet to be finalized and how long can we be waiting (submission is 3 months now), I have sent emails to nairobi, but no response. Please, I need your contribution, I really want to travel with her...

Thank you for your wonderful works here.

I don't know about Lagos cos I did both biometric and medicals in Abuja.
For biometric, you should be done in an hour but for medicals I got there around 8:20 am for 8 o'clock appointment and finished around 2:30pm.
Emmasonic4me:

I have medicals appointment with IOM on 3rd June at 8am. I've been monitoring the vfs booking platform for biometrics to get appointment for same 3rd June or a day before or after. Getting an excuse to leave work to travel as far as Lagos has been a tricky one.

Do you think I can still achieve doing biometrics same day with medicals?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by phummy1821: 10:52pm On May 24, 2021
So I did my upfront medicals on the 19th that's last week Wednesday, on Friday 21st IOM called that the results will be uploaded that day. I have been busy and not able to upload the e-medical form. I tried uploading this night only to see update of medical passed without uploading the form IOM gave me.

Congratulations to you and your family![q1uote author=gugu40 post=101571624]Hello everyone. I have come to give thanks to God ooo!!!!! He deserves all the praise.

Just got the family ppr and visa (SOWP and 2 Study permit for the kids)

Special Thanks to all those that still keep this thread alive, A big thanks to @Frankrobbn1, @Justmellow, @justwise and @Akannitommy for the advice for my wife’s study visa application and my family’s visa application.

My wife got her study permit approved in November 2020 but she is still studying online here, waiting for the family to get our visa.

Na God ooooo, I want to use this platform take encourage people ooo. Age no be criteria to get study permit or SOWP because I and my wife don old ooo. We are over 40 and this na her third masters ooo.(She had done two Masters before). God can do it for anybody. Thanks.

Here’s my wife’s timeline :

Application: July 22
Biometrics request – July 23
Biometrics done – July 29
Medical Request: July 23
Medicals done – July 31
Medical Passed: August 1
BVL / Passport request: October 21
Passport submission: October 25 (Sent by Post)
Passport posted back: 1st November

Family timeline 1

First Application(SOWP and 2 Study permit for 5 and 10 years old):

Application: November 15
Biometrics request for spouse – November 18
Biometrics done for spouse– November 25
Refusal for family– January 11

Refusal reasons:

1. based on travel history
2. based on my immigration status here
3. based on my family ties in Canada and in my country of residence.

I tried to get the GCMS notes from one of the online agents so as to get a better understanding on why we were refused but as fate would have it the agent sent me a mail that my order was delayed that IRCC sought an extension of 90 days beyond the statutory time limit of 30 days to process the request. This means it will take a total of 120 days.

I have a feeling that my refusal was based on my visa here; because it was to expire in one month on the day I saw the refusal email. So I waited for my office to renew my visa and with faith in God, I reapplied.

Second Application (SOWP and 2 Study permit for 5 and 10 years old):

Timeline for Family 2

Application: March 18
Medical Request for family: April 7
Medicals done for family – April 12

2. You can request through companies who now request for ur notes from IRCC,
U can use gcmsonline, just for Canada, Getgcms etc.
