coogar: some men?
it's easier said than done. remember, ghosts see everything. the biggest torture known to any man is watching another man hump the wife he left behind.

if the ghost was a police officer or a military man before he died then the new husband should start praying. he's going to get shot or have his black arsë thrashed with koboko one day soon. grin

SirShymex: What would the Los Angeles Clippers be worth if Donald Sterling sold the team?

By Neil Greenberg April 29

Sterling, the NBA’s longest-tenured owner, bought the team for $12.5 million in 1981. According to the latest valuation by Forbes, the Clippers franchise is now worth $575 million, a 34 percent increase over the 2013 valuation.

Just some back-of-the-envelope math shows that the Clippers, based on the multiple of value the Bucks went for, shows the team could fetch in excess of $780 million if put up for sale.

Interesting....my bad

Nice one however like in any business acquisition value is ultimately determined by the market with focus on potential income streams
Analysts feel that Sterling as a person undermined the brand of the Clippers with HUD racial discrimination lawsuits and refusal to pay top dollar talents

Ballmer must have some solid ideas of turning around the brand..
The sale to Ballmer comes at a unique time for the Clippers and the NBA. Both the league and the club will see television contracts come up for renewal no later than the end of the 2015-16 season. The expectation is that the NBA’s national television contracts will double; possibly more. The eight-year deal that was reached with Walt Disney owned ESPN/ABC and TNT are approx. $930 million annually. The Clippers current broadcast deal averages $20 million a season from Fox Prime Ticket. That is expected to go as high as $75 million annually, according to Michael Ozanian here at Forbes.

coogar: that's what i thought too....
female ghosts are only concerned about the kids they left behind. male ghosts are only concerned about the böobs & the bütt they left behind.

if any man encroaches a ghost's property, he must be ready to face the consequences. i am too young to die. i don't want to sleep & have ghosts chasing me in my dreams.
grin grin
Some men allow their women to remarry in case they die first n the woman is still nubile.

I will be more concerned about kids though...God forbid

cococandy: Good question.
Can you help us ask?

Child marriage is an old practise hence can be found in the history of many religions. But since everyone has moved on,why are they still stuck and why do they use religion to try justify it?
And why aren't their religious leaders calling them out on this practise which is against islam.

I just don't know if there's something we are not being told here.
I am also asking the question myself
I was wondering why it seemed to be degenerating to a religious war as Jews also married young

If you have read the thread from the start..Islam says the girl must be mature

They don't think it is best

I am curious as to why the practice is widespread myself

Good to see there is a human behind the moniker

I will have ignored your rant but I thought otherwise... as some hypocrites are already making crappy allegations of cyber bullying.

Now to your post

zboyd: OK...ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

There IS no smokescreen here...no matter how you wish it to be so. You are just another one of those Naija people I detest. You are so caught up in your stereotypical mindset that you can't see the forest for the trees, same as some narrow-minded African-Americans who hold a similar mindset.

But let's be real, shall we? Your REAL PROBLEM with me is that I dare challenge YOU...A MAN....or is it a BOY... in a man's body. You are no better than American men who have issues, when confronted with an intelligent WOMAN who dares to voice her opinion on serious issues, specifically DOMESTIC ABUSE.
I have never denied here males perpetrate abuse on their partners . however it is posters like you and the multitude of females that go gung-ho when there is some way to bring down males.

If you look at your own threads dispassionately...you will see the theme of your topics

Naija Men are abusive
They phock AA women and abandon their offspring
Naija men are dominating
Men should not be heads of the home
Men should be emasculated

Bla Bla Bla...

But women happen to b divine and don't fart..

Tell me something good and new

You and your co-signers are no better than the cops and politicians over here that protect dirty cops and politicians, when they know damn well their cohorts are dirty.

Instead of standing up and denouncing the dirty deeds men inflict on women, you'd rather 'kill the messenger'.

Why is it that you'd rather portray me or any other woman who speaks her mind, regarding the actions brutish men as men-hating, feminist, bitter, lesbian bitches, rather than women who care what happens to their fellow Sisters....no matter where they reside?

SHAME ON YOU!
Insults already?

Same words . Different posters...you aggressor females never fail to disappoint

I have no issue with assertive females..its insulting females like you who see no good in the male gender I call out

Shame on you also

Thank God ALL men, Nigerian or otherwise, aren't of your ilk!

YOU ARE A DISGRACE!

You're so caught up in your stereotypical mindset that you can't EVER imagine a Naija man finding love and happiness with a non-Naija woman.
Keep whatever offline issues you have with haters offline..

You say u r no misandrist...your posts speak otherwise
Deal with your anger..woman

Me a disgrace?..you are so far from the truth..maybe you are the disgrace..

TOO BAD!

In your narrow-minded world, such couplings don't exist or fail. WRONG!!! They do! And you and your co-signers can't stand it. Ya'll rather listen to and believe, as the gospel truth, "How A Naija Man Done Me Wrong Blues" sung by some embittered women who post here.

There is no such thing as "Family Utopia".

What there IS...is men...Nigerian and otherwise, who are DAMN GOOD MEN!

Are they perfect? NO! No human being is...no marriage is...so why even voice such a fantasy?
Good you know there is no perfect man..
You and others like you will do well to know that.

Question your OWN motives!

Why are you so reluctant to acknowledge the reality of Naija men beating their girlfriends and wives senseless?

Why are you so reluctant to acknowledge the numbers of Nigerian women murdered by their husbands?

Why aren't you up on your soapbox denouncing the brutish behavior of some of your fellow brothers?

Why are you portraying me as a man-hating, bitter feminist because I dare speak out on domestic abuse in the Nigerian community?

Why do you assume I am a product of a Naija Man-African-American Woman relationship gone wrong...where the Naija man is missing in action...no where to be found...leaving the AA mother, alone and bitter? (Note: My Father is AA.)

Why do you assume that ALL Naija men who father children with non-Naija women, in general, would abandon their offspring...never to see them again?

Why is it that you seem to know next to nothing about the Naij men who have children with non-Naija women, love their children to death and will fight tooth and nail to be in their lives...no matter the cost?

Why is it that you seem to know next to nothing of marriages between Naija men and non-Naija women?

This is a monkey on your back that YOU have to deal with, mate.

Ignorance may be bliss...but it's still ignorance!

CHECK YOURSELF...OR...WRECK YOURSELF!!!

Your choice!
Check yourself with your anger and misandry before you wreck also

A woman who claims to be happily married for 5 years will not be as dismissive of the marriage institution and make head ship of the nuclear family as your posting history show not to talk of 2 decades.

If it works for you in your home, don't spread your poison

Your problem is that people like you project the lack of responsible male authority figures in your life to all men

Men are not perfect but with great power comes great responsibility

Fathers have been known to give their heart to their kids
Fathers intercede for the home and their children
Fathers go into mines to work months at a stretch to ensure their kids have a decent shot at life

In your community with all the empowerment to single mothers we have increased crime and more young sons being killed

I'm sure you know of the issues in Ferguson

Read into that anything you will..

Lawd.. back to religious hate....

SOmethings never change

Cant a debate be devoid of bigotry..

Can this rest now... in the old days.. jewish maidens were married 12-14

They have moved on...

The issue now is why is Child marriage still in practice

She married Joseph and accompanied him to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born.[3] Dale Allison states that in ancient Jewish custom, Mary could have been bethrothed at about 12, but does not claim that this did happen in her case.[4] There is no direct evidence of Mary's age at betrothal or in pregnancy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_(mother_of_Jesus)
The historical challenge is to explain why Jesus was accused of illegitimacy, why he was called Joseph's son and why the view developed that he was born of a virgin. By examining the ancient Jewish commitment to the maintenance of family lineage, which was the cultural context of Jesus' birth, we can explain all these features of the New Testament and discover one of the most profound influences on Jesus' personal development.

Mary would have been some 13 years old -- the age Jewish maidens of that time married -- when the widower Joseph came to her village of Nazareth, perhaps to repair the house of her parents. Joseph was a journeyman from nearby Bethlehem (in Galilee, not Judea), a roofer, stonemason and rough carpenter. It makes sense that he would have met Mary in the early spring; he could ply his trade then before he was needed at home to tend his fields of wheat and barley. The calendar of Christianity from centuries after the New Testament -- bowing to the Imperial Roman feast of Sol Invictus, the invincible sun, which became ensconced during the third century C.E. and was applied to Christ a century later -- has Jesus born on Dec. 25. But reckoned from his parents' probable time of meeting, his birth was earlier, probably in the autumn.

Mary's family had agreed to a contract of marriage with Joseph, but the couple was not yet living together when her pregnancy became obvious. The wording of the New Testament itself, although written many years after the events and richly laced with legends concerning Jesus' birth, attests to this simple fact: before they resided together she was obviously pregnant (Matthew 1:18).

The well to do nigerians are actually less than 35%

More than 5-10%.. (this support the population at large) - a pop of 16 million (max)

Then 60% of this...

Good?Bad? Depends on the side you look at

TheBigUrban2: It can be argued that the percentage is way overestimated. Yes, but it is possible given that it is a percentage of a small percentage of Nigerians (60% of the 35% of Nigerians who are well to do)

The value i saw and had seen for a while was 2bn - this year

SirShymex: At the bold - I don't think the owners association would've sanctioned it. If a black man were to bid 2.5 billion, they will get a next white man to bid 3 billion. Even the 2 billion Steve Ballmer paid for it was highly inflated. The Clippers was valued at 1 billion earlier this year.

That's the politics, bro.

He was given a lot of time to clarify his position but still went along his path

satope1: The topic brought about that line of thought. I guess he was trying to rationalise keeping a kid dressed with that although very poor at use of words and arrangements. That's why words are never to be taken out of context else they convey different meanings.

More like looking at two goats mating and that view conjuring a new image in your head and this gets you turned on. I bet we all know he isn't turned on by the goats but the visual simulation going on in his head. That's why you snap out of it when that occurs. The brain is a complex thing and you don't allow it fester on ill thoughts and don't go on staring at a kid's body. It is irresponsible.

Then she needs to be counseled spiritually and psycologically. IMO, I don't think she really wanna bade her lifestyle goodbye yet.. Same thing..the point is I don't see any urge to warrant an intervention

You can't save someone who does not want to be saved

Do you expect her to be normal. When her mates have gotten married bearing and raising children, she is locked in the vicious cycle of looking for fresh victims to lure into her deviant sexual acts. Even in relationships between men and women, sex can only get you so far and there have to be other things to make you happy. With her, what will she fall back on? Not to talk of diseases that will almost inevitably arise. This thing is like hard drugs, it wastes a life.

If this particular one can kick the habit, the better for her before she ends-up horribly.
