The law of life unlike science says "Like attracts Like". If you are good, you will attract good people and vice-versa.

No matter how anonymous the forum is, a discerning mind can see through the good people here.

First question you should ask yourself is, "are you a friend.." (I do not mean an acquaintance)?
Deep and i agree
He that seeks friends must show himself friendly
U cant giv what you dont have

buggaboo: The market forces of demand and supply will always determine the balance of power.
It simply boils down to how replaceable you are. Whether man or woman, If you can be replaced easily with an equal or better person then your partner holds the power in the relationship.

Unfortunately for women, on average they are more replaceable than men at the moment.

they use these language to try to bully guys into submission

BlackKenichi: That's because a lot of modern day women have been subconsciously indoctrinated into feminist propaganda.

Even other ladies use it routinely

The issue is really powerful..

Hamas is sworn to destroy Israel and they are the govt of the PLA

Until they are removed.,.. nothing will happen

Israel too will not stop building on the disputed territories so the PL believe Hamas is better suited to faceoff

So catch 22 - who go stop huh

Thanks.. i wonder why no other poster of Igbo origin has explained this obvious reality

chulla12: Anyone conversant with Igbo culture will tell you that there was NOTHING sexual between the two women involved in this type of marriage arrangement. This sort of thing happened when the "woman husband" was barren in her original marriage.

The only reason why she claims "husband" in this scenario is to have full ownership of the child that born to the acquired wife, in union with her husband. I'm not even sure that the "new" wife had any say or rights in this scenario as the children born are noted as belonging to the "woman husband" and the real husband.

This is an insurance policy for barren wives as most women who allowed outright polygamy (i.e. legitimate second wife) when they were barren lost their place in the home when the second wife gave birth to children.

Buchi Emecheta referenced this tradition in one of her novels...The Joys of Motherhood, I think.

There is no reference to actual Lesbianism or Homosexuality in Igbo culture, as far as I know.

Nice one

Can u open a thread on snial farming and share your experience

Coldfeet: Giant african land snails A.K.A GALS are considered an economic risk in most western countries as they can breed millions in just a couple of months! The effect it has on the farm crops are one of the reasons these countries prohibit their import. Many whites don't eat them rather they are seen as disease filled pests! Which is true but then we blacks have been eating them since God knows when and nothing mega! grin. Americans have got there own specie of snails that don't multiply like our GALS do but I tell you an African man will not touch it we see those species as poisonous (talk about one mans meat being another's poison undecided). Anyway as it stands no crime was committed so the owner will just have to count his/her loses and forget about ever bringing GALS to the states alive or dead/BBQd. For those unemployed graduates shouting no job GALs farming is VERY lucrative and requires little capital to start if at all any sef! I farm them for consumption I started with the wild ones that is I got them from my village farm these ones are better and produce more than majority of the ones sold in the market which may be second hand snails. Egg shells, fruits and vegetables are some of the foods snails eat. A little trick I was taught on how to get snails in the wild was to place peeled pawpaw skin or pour fruit juice at a clearing where snails may be found come back later and you'd be surprised at the number of snails you'll find there. smiley
