jayfolarin: You know a president is doing the right thing for Nigeria when babangida is against him!! The very devil himself and one of the top 5 agents of the colonial powers to keep Nigeria in the dark indefinitely (Research and learn!!).
I keep saying the whole PDP resurgence and defections is nothing but old thieving politicians being frustrated from lack of free-sharing dollars, power and influence as experienced in the past. A quick look at all all the PDP controlled states across the federation and you'll realise very quickly that they have ABSOLUTELY nothing to offer! It's pathetic really
While he is not young, PMB is a breath of fresh air and an absolute upgrade from the ridiculousness we had in the past!
It's either buhari or sowore for 2019! With PDP, it's literally sliding back to hell!! Buhari ---- breath of fresh air...with RECESSION, FULANI HERDSMEN KILLINGS AND COUNTLESS SUICIDES I reserve my comment |

agwom: The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, has disclosed that bandits attacking Zamfara State and others are being funded by politicians.
He spoke in Bauchi weekend while commissioning Small Arms Shooting Range and personnel quarters at the Air Force Base.
“Some of these groups are being funded, supported and encouraged by certain unpatriotic Nigerians for self-centered political interests,” he said.
He said air operations in Zamfara and other places were being carefully organized, adding that personnel and assets would soon be deployed to support “Operation Sharan Daji”.
He said the NAF had deployed about 1,000 special forces and supported other security agencies against threats.
The Chief of Air Staff said 12 super aircraft were also expected to arrive from the United States.
Governor Mohammed Abubakar said the Bauchi said his administration was planning to hand over Lame Bura Forest to the Air force to establish an air range for its fighter aircraft pilots.

joa2013: My wife and her family members are driving me crazy. Their involvement in my home is becoming embarrassing. I may have to give my wife the red card asap. Her family poke noses into all my affairs. How I spent my money, who I give my money to, who I visit, and so on. All they want is to continue to expend money on them and live my life for them. I got their daughter a job, her salary isn't enough for them, how can I be taking care of able bodied men who have refused to work with their certificates, looking for jobs with good pays before they'll work, their pensioner father is not also helping matters, very difficult to please. I have made it known to my wife that our marriage contract did not include pleasing her family members but she won't listen then I worked my transfer from Lagos to Abuja, yet they're on my neck. My wife's younger brother is presently in Abuja without any clear cut mission other than to come and monitor my affairs. He called me around 7pm yesterday to tell me he's in Utako and that I should come and pick him from pack, I told him I didn't invite him to Abuja so why should I pick him up? I asked him if he didn't have a mission before coming and why he should get to Abuja before notifying me that he's coming to my place. I shunned him and switched off my phone. I switched on the phone now only to read 3 abusive text messages from my wife and one from her father threatening that if anything happens to his son, I'll be held responsible. My people, can you see my life? My pastor have been trying to broker peace between us before I left for Abuja to no avail, what I intended to do is to settle down here and get her relocated so that if she's a bit far from her family, things will work out. I'll instruct a lawyer to file divorce papers tomorrow, I can no longer take it. After u divorce her, and you intend 2 get married again in d near future, my brother, contact me 4 a PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT |

Celebrities › Re: Grace Oyelude Looking Graceful At 86, Years After Winning First Miss Nigeria by PierreAbutu(m): 11:26am On Jul 19, 2018 |
TheArticleNG: Mrs Grace Atinuke, born November 16, 1931, is known to be the first ever Miss Nigeria, having won the pageant in 1957.
Though she hails from Kogi State, Grandma Oyelude was born in Kano to James Adeleye Olude and Marthan Dantu, who both hail from Isanlu, present day Kogi State.
The story of how she became the first Miss Nigeria is as riveting as her enigmatic personality, even in her advanced old age.
Miss Nigeria started in 1957 as a photo contest, whereby contestants posted photographs of themselves to The Daily Times headquarters in Lagos. Finalists were shortlisted, and successful finalists were invited to compete in the live final at the Lagos Island Club.
Then, the Miss Nigeria contest did not include a swimsuit competition.
Then, Oyelude was working at UAC when she represented the then Northern region. After winning the contest, she travelled to England where she studied Nursing. Within months of gaining admission to the School of Nursing in Ashford, she was crowned Miss Nigeria.
She tells her story: “I was living in Kano then. My brother saw the advertisement in the newspapers and advised me to go to Lagos for an interview to be selected as a Miss Nigeria contestant.
He applied, and the result was that I was supposed to be in Lagos for the Miss Nigeria contest.
“I was working in the UAC then, and they also were also involved in the pageant.
“The following day, they got me on a plane to Lagos and that was it.” Oyelude currently holds the chieftaincy titles Iyaolu of Isaluland and Iyalode of Okunland. She has many grandchildren.
More recently, precisely on July 16, 2018, her ebullient nephew and a Professor of English Language at Carleton University in the United States, Pius Adesanmi, posted a photograph of the gracefully ageing Grandma Oyelude.

Politics › Re: 5 Lessons Nigerians Should Learn From The Ekiti Governorship Election For 2019 by PierreAbutu(m): 12:23pm On Jul 15, 2018 |
salvationproject: https://www.9jahyper.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/images-3.jpeg The most-anticipated Ekiti governorship election have come to past and finally a winner have emerge governor-elect in the person of Dr. Fayemi Kayode of the APC but looking at the various intriguing dramas that preceded the election, below are five things Nigerian can learn in preparation for 2019.
1. This Is Oshiohmole First Victory
I hope you must have learnt that this is Oshiohmole’s first victory as APC chairman, you should also learn that he is determined to win more.
2. APC/Buhari Is Definitely Going To Win 2019
I believe I don’t need to echo this to the ears of those who are hoping that Nigerians are tired of Buhari/APC and therefore they will lose 2019 elections. If truly Nigerians are tired, who then voted in the Ekiti election that led to APC winning one of the thought formidable household of PDP.
3. 2019 election will be war in disguise
Just for Ekiti state election, 30000 policemen + other security agencies and tough security equipment were deployed. 36 plus FCT (37) multiply by 30000 equals 1110000 policemen needed for 2019. That means our policemen are not even an inch enough for 2019.
4. Many Nigerians Will Want To Commit Suicide
To those who have made up their mind that Buhari must leave in 2019 or they kill themselves.
5. No Formidable Power Yet To Match The Federal Might
If APC can defeat Eleka/Fayose, a formidable power in Ekiti state where Fayose bragged that he controls 80% of the state, I see no reasons why they will not win in a federation where no formidable power is already in place but election is about ten(10) months away.
Add Your Own Lessons Below.

zakim: Five governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday met with Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal for about three hours at the government house in Sokoto.
Speculations were rife that Tambuwal had perfected plans to return to PDP which he dumped in the buildup to the 2015 general elections while he was Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Before the meeting, Governor Abdulaziz Yari, who led the other governors, said they were in the state to commiserate with Tambuwal, the people of Sokoto and families of victims of the recent killings in Rabah Local Government Area of the state.
Other governors at the meeting were those of Borno, Kashim Shettima; Adamawa, Jibrilla Bindow; Jigawa, Badaru Abubakar; Katsina, Aminu Masari; and Niger, Abubakar Sani Bello.
However, shortly after the condolences, the governors went straight into a closed door meeting.

Women leader of North CAN Mrs. Leah Olusiyi Solomon, knelt down, crying over the killings especially of women and children.
The woman raised up her hands while weeping.
The President was touched and he directed her to liaise with the person that would arrange the meeting.
With the CAN leaders at the meeting was Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong, whose state witnessed the recent orgy of killings.
The CAN leaders demanded a review of the country’s security architecture and an immediate end to incessant killings by suspected armed herdsmen.
The Christian leaders also called on President Buhari to ensure the release of the abducted Dapchi schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu, who is being held by Boko Haram for refusing to denounce her Christian faith.

Veteran comedian Ali Baba has pen down a heart wrenching note in reaction to the tanker fire at Lagos Ibadan express which claimed many lives
He wrote
In organized societies, where traffic is a major issue, tankers and heavy duty vehicles move at night or at specified times. In developed climes, MOT agencies... are as serious as the police force. In some other climes, that have deep shores like we do, only one port can not be used for discharge of staples like fuel, and even then, fuel and transportation of inflammable contents are done in controlled methods. We are a Lawless country. If government tries to organize these same tankers now, they will go on strike, shut down the economy and day to day running, and we will let them continue. Same thing with teachers... try to get them to go get retrained and be bwtter qualified to teach, they will strike and wr are back to status quo. We do not punish people who even chop monies meant for projects. Projects that have been captured in the budget and monies released. The same people who chop the monies will now be in the ruling party and to prosecute them becomes a No No. And as nothing is done to them another person will do it. Just imagine. Nigerians died today because of avoidable precautions and failure to create policies and laws that have consequences that could have detered that tanker from being on that road. But no. Law makers dont care. The Executives no send and the JUDICIARY is not jailing them. Bet me, more tankers will fall. Nothing will be done. Nothing.
