Sleeping is the easiest way. I always wake up much better after a long sleep. I also use this method when I'm disappointed.
If I can't afford to sleep at that point, I just listen to music or write a song about the negative emotions I'm feeling at that point.

I've found that talking about how you feel helps you ease off it so sometimes I just talk to my niccas.
