Conner44: try to go out and look for any small sized abandoned container shop in your area, those types used by people to sell small items like provisions, etc and buy it cheap.
you can use cement for the floor and call a carpenter to build shelves, windows etc and put ceiling boards with a good roof over it. this is cheaper and faster than building anything from scratch as wood prices ain't cheap plus aluminium lasts longer too (unless you want to build with bricks)
finding one to buy and trnsport to your backyard shouldn't be too hard in this buhari period where small and large businesses have been packing up anyhow recently.
sultaan: You can try to to build one yourself with with a drawing online and a local carpenter. You may have to be there to pick quality wood, sand, interlocking brick or clay for floor.
I am sure there are how to videos online you can use to guide your carpenter
Thanks a lot for chimming in boss. Not too sure if one would get presentable wood that would withstand the elements and still look good. I wish pine wood was available and affordable in Naija. I will consult a couple capenters and see what they say.
Also been thinking of aluminium fabrication (sliding window guys) as an option. Will survey this too.
I should be switching accommodation and plan to get a small toolshed in the backyard. Between 3.5 - 5sqm should be good and it has to be a portable unit or at least not made of brick and motar.
I already got some discouraging quotes from those guys that fabricate container homes... 1.4M for the tiny size I described.
amstamon: My toyota camry 2009 not raising or revving when trying to accelerate on park(P). I've checked fuel pump, maf sensor, fuel nuzzle, coils, plugs 03 sensors and nothing was found to be the problem. No signs of misfire when turned on but has a rough or no raising/revving when try to accelerate. Pls help.
A lot has been said, Chukel covered good points. How did you do the checking of the parts in bold? E.g. Did you check the fuel pressure while checking the fuel pump? Could be as simple as a restricted air filter, but you need fuel trim data to move forward.
Peppermintflav: Fan direct and no thermostat does not have a direct effect on mpg. If the upstream sensor is working, you will get good mpg.
Not true. The car will struggle to reach optimal operating temperature and the ECU will continue to command a rich profile for the Air-fuel mix. This will certainly affect mpg.
Emman8: Last year August I bought AC compressor and condenser for honda accord 2003 v6, AC technician did flushing, setup and gas refill and everything was working fine for 2 months, until one afternoon I noticed smoke coming out of the hood, i quickly park to check i noticed the AC compressor was making grinding noise and smoking, i turned it off and took the car to AC technician. I was told I have to change Compressor and Condenser again in which I did again, now same thing happen like 2 months after again, please what could be wrong? No sign of any leaks
The gringing noise means fragments were sent from the compressor through the AC system. With this all non-flushable parts would trap fragments and must be replaced: compressor & condenser (which you did), expansion valve and drier should be replaced too. I am guessing you replaced the drier but didn't mention. Also as mosbus said, some AC hoses have inline filters in them. They should be replaced too. Lastly, I hope your technician uses a vacuum pump? If not you should change to someone that does.
For this repairs, the whole engine bay wires, dash wires, driver footwell and door panel wires had to come out and was picked individually, after which, another ABS module and engine fuse box was purchased and installed. Combination meter (instrument cluster) was opened and blocked lights were re-exposed and fixed. Also, the driver side fuse box was worked upon and repaired.

I noticed this when I had a business that used DHL for the importation of laptops to Nigeria. I also used DHLfor some automotive deliveries. The duty rate for car parts is so high. Nowadays, I don't even bother, I just use a freight forwarder and have no business with customs. While these big weight logistics companies are super efficient, I think sometimes they connive with customs in the whole issue. Could be wrong though.
This is the mileage when it was driven from the port to the painter/panelbeater and finally shop for sale.
What are your thoughts?

Only thing I see is that the Copart lot said 'not actual' regarding the mileage at US auction, meaning that copart could not guarantee against a rollback. That said, I see no evidence of Gazzuzz adjusting mileage in Nigeria.

Mottomata: Iyke this video is educative. Good job!!!
A question, how about a situation where from a previous job, the AC system has a lot of oil above the recommended qty. What do you do to resolve this issue?
Unfortunately, this will require disassembly of the components of the AC and flushing. Note that certain things should not be flushed e.g. Compressor, condenser. Compressor should just be drained. After all this, add correct oil quantity to components (eg. Compressor) and the system after you reassemble. There might be some manufacturer specifics to how much oil should be drained from the compressor or added. Why do you think the system has too much oil?
aieromon: The note on your website already does justice to the DIY but this is very beautiful for people who appreciate video illustration better.
Is the vacuum pump needed for a gas topup or one should just stick to pressure readings?
Thanks mate. No vacuum pump required for top ups. You will have to work with pressure in that case. I generally prefer to evacuate and refill personally.
Piyke: I was in Lagos recently and picked up all I need to correctly charge an AC system! Thanks to Gazzuzz who gave me the right market to get these in Lag.
I had to do this because when my magnetic clutch was replaced 3 years ago, no vacuum was applied on the system . I just couldn't find a shop with a vacuum pump. Now I know better.
My cabin now feels like trekking unclothed in Antarctica
I did this again recently and got a video this time...
