Subtract penalties, abeg I wan check something ![]() |
andrew444:FdJ na joke to you, abi? They have the same profile. If you want Kimmich, carry 50m come and add De Jong on top, then we can start discussing. |
andrew444:You dey shako dey select player. LOL. Person wey go better una life. See your mouth like Kimmich. Come carry am nau So what do we call Kessie now? A success, definitely not. A flop, you no go gree. OK, dependable spare tire nko? ![]() |
andrew444:You no fit escape this one. Kessie flopped. Barca probably thought they were getting a Yaya Toure regen or at least a Seydou Keita. Lmao. DeJong, Gavi and Pedri are all world-class abi? Dey decieve yourself. Goretzka walks into Barca today and Gavi gets a seatbelt on the bench. |
andrew444:LOL. Kessie didn't flop, but you guys are already looking to move him on after just a season. I no need watch all Barca games. I've seen enough and read enough on this thread to know say the guy don cast. Una go buy person wey dey statpad with PK for Milan, think say you don buy quality B2B Persin wey Gavi dey bench at times. Bring 60m, make we give you Goretzka, and you go see levels. |
monerozi5590:I was never really a fan of this guy at Bayern, despite him being one of us. His contract dispute that led to him leaving the club even made it worse. I only got to appreciate him later in his career. No one has mastered the science of efficiency like Toni Kroos. His shooting is world class but you hardly see him take shots. He has the vision and passing ability of Xavi and KdB, but he doesn't make many line-breaking passes and his assist numbers are nothing out of the ordinary. This guy could hit double figures in goals in a season, if he really wanted to. His game doesn't stand out, but a true student of the game would never underrate his impact on his team. He is also one of the very few players capable of playing all 3 midfield positions at a world class level. Undoubtedly, one of the greatest midfielders of all time. |
andrew444:Who go buy your Kessie for 40m? Lmao. You got someone for free, e flop, you say you wan sell am for 40m? Person wey suppose dey hawk around dey beg people say make dem buy, come add jara player on top. |
So nobody fit change the title of this thread abi? Who dash una Champions of England? Since 2021, you people have been living a lie. Man City fans on NL suppose carry una go court. |
Fun Fact! Serge Gnabry is the only Bayern Munich OR Germany player to have scored at least a hat-trick in each of the last 4 seasons. 2022/23 - 6-1 vs Werder Bremen 2021/22 - 0-5 vs Stuttgart, with 2 assists to boot. 2020/21 - 8-0 vs Schalke 04 2019/20 - 4! in a 2-7 win vs Tottenham Shows how devastatingly good he can be when he's on top of his game and playing in the right position. |
AdisaOwala:'Demola, dey calm down Bayern's approach in the transfer window has always been to pick up the best local talent and complement them with international quality. We can't be overpaying for players everytime like the English clubs. If we don't pick them up, they will go elsewhere. The only problem is that our recent recruitment has been heavily concentrated on Leipzig, making it look like we are deliberately weakening them. |
raumdeuter:Gvardiol would cost an arm and a leg, and honestly I'm tired of raiding Leipzig. Haba! Upamecano, Nagelsmann, Sabitzer, Laimer. I hear we are now looking at Max Eberl for the role of Sporting Director. It's like Dortmund all over again. We couldn't be more cynical. Make we allow them grow, and knock off Dortmund as the second best team in Germany at least. Sane can fucck off. I'm more interested in what Tuchel plans for Tel are. Playing him as a wing forward rather than a 9 seems to be the best way to boost his development. This Vlahovic thing had better be a joke. I'm OK with Kolo Muani as long as he doesn't cost more than 60m. Anything more, na cheating. |
FirstbornWds:Because Lewy wanted to leave. No way JK is leaving Bayern for your dusted club. |
BlueAngel444:LOL. The same Kane we've been keeping an eye on since last summer? Las las, na Man Utd the guy go end up for. |
FirstbornWds:Keep dreaming, man. Izz allowed ![]() |
CAPdan21:Lmao. This guy! Congrats on the Master's, bro. Greater heights awaits. |
Remember that time when Havertz10 used to tell us his boy would end up at either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich and we all laughed at him? Yeah, looks like it's happening for real. I expect one hell of a comeback from Jude when this deal gets completed. |
FergieRaww:Sane has not been the same player since that ACL injury. He's still fast but mentally, a part of him is gone. He can no longer take on players and now prefers to play through combinations with team mates. Guy is more of a number 10 than a winger these days. His attitude can also be uninspiring. We are definitely not loaning Sane, if he's leaving its going to be an outright sale. But we fit consider a swap deal if you people give us Rodrygo ![]() |
BlueAngel444:Madam, long time no see. I see your hatred for Bayern hasn't mellowed one bit. Wetin we do you? |
Capaldi:Capaldi, Capaldi. . Saturday go soon reach, shogbo? |
andrew444:Lol. Perisic was mid for most of his time here. He only turned up in the CL mini-tournament. We wanted to buy him but na Inter do ojukokoro. Why should we overpay for a player, just because he played 2 or 3 good games for us. We wanted James and he wanted to stay but the stupid coach we had at that time alienated him. We are not paying 100m for Basmati. Our maga never reach that level. |
raumdeuter:I will say Laporte to replace Lucas if City are willing to do business. He's injury-prone but so is Lucas. His team mate at the Spanish National team, Pau Torres of Villarreal is also another interesting option. Left footed also. Or we could raid Ajax one more time for Jurrien Timber, who can also play RB. In my ideal world, I would want Cancelo to stay but I just don't see us coughing up 75m for him. Mazraoui looks settled, so we don't need to splash the cash on that position. Stanisic is a capable backup. Mane and Sane can leave. Chiesa would be a decent addition, if the rumors are true but his ACL injury is still fresh in my mind. Loan with option to buy. |
FergieRaww:Lmao. We be scam artists nau and the format no dey ever cast. That particular season, we had Odriozola, Coutinho and Perisic all on loan. None of them were signed permanently. Classic case of 'use and dump' Cancelo wey just go sef, I knew we were never going to sign him, not at that price Man City were quoting. We were very close to signing James permanently but he wasn't happy playing under Kovac unlike when Jupp Heynckes was still the coach and we did sign Coman after two seasons on loan from Juve. So, we are not that bad, you see. |
Rarre:GODriozola still dey Madrid? His 2019/20 season will forever remain goated ![]() |
If dem give hensben funds to run a club like Real Madrid walahi, all 100+ yrs of history, prestige and success go turn to dust in a few years. I just can't can. . Una wey dey vex for Boli, make una just dey thank God say no be hensben buy una club. Na administration after 2 seasons at the most. Dude's decision making fit crash a Fortune 500 company in no time. |
hensben:I love you, my guy!! No homo ![]() |
CAPdan21:So you be Liverpool fan?! I always thought you were a Shekpite. Seeing as you dey always drag Android17 as Eruditor on the Chelsea thread The other day, I was even thinking where this guy go sef. Great to see you around.Una Liverpool fans sef just dey hide for inside here. Una no dey show face outside again. I didn't even know AnfieldFan was still active. Wey Kloppo sef? E get another one wey dey constitute serious nuisance that year, I can't remember his moniker. |
I'm surprised the firesale hasn't began yet. There is no time to waste. Clear out those underperforming players earning a lot with little to show for it. Number 1 for me has to be Sane. There is no better time to cash in on him than now. He's been here for over 3 seasons now, and I can't think of any impact he's made in that time. He's lost his ability to beat players 1v1, and is now moonlighting as a 10, even at that his numbers are not impressive. E don carry him UCL QF curse come here from City. Since he's been here, we are yet to make it to a CL semifinal. City, on the other hand have made 3 straight SFs, and are playing their second final in three years since he left. Talk about ill luck. He will never get back to his previous explosive best and we should just move on. He has two years left on his contract and is perfectly sellable. Asensio would have been a perfect replacement. Same profile, same age and on a similar level, I would argue. He would have cost us nothing, and lesser wages to boot but he's now gone to PSG. Selling Mane wouldn't be bad either. I've not written him off completely but I don't think he still has what he takes to win those CL crunch games for us and he's not going to hit 18-20 non-pk goals in the league either, so no point in holding onto him if we are not getting full value for his wages. If a decent offer comes in, sell him. Gnabry has to deliver this season. Serge na my guy but no more excuses. Post-covid burn out and Nagelsmann playing him out of position won't count again. I think he will cook under Tuchel, provided he plays him regularly and in his best position. Coman is not as good as the other two, but he has an elite mentality. He's a fighter and though he frustrates me more often than not, I respect that especially in light of his injury troubles. Needs to work on his finishing and crossing. He should be doing double figures in the league, at least. And yes, Tuchel, don't ever play him and Davies on the same side unless you absolutely have to, e get why. The Musiala-Muller conundrum is an interesting one. Both players are on opposite ends of the age spectrum, which can lead to inconsistency in their performances, as we saw last season. But this also makes passing the baton much easier. Muller's competitive spirit won't let him back down but it's clear age is catching up with him. I'm in favour of rotation with Jamal, of course getting the lion share of minutes. I wouldn't mind seeing the two of them starting together once in a while, with Jamal playing as an unorthodox LW as he has great chemistry with Phonzie. Leon Goretzka. Jack of all trades, master of none. Another one of those hiding under German tax. Tuchel is clearly not a fan, and for good reasons. His performances is a major reason we are looking for a quality DM to complement Kimmich. Sucks at build up play, seems tactically unaware of what he is supposed to do, and even his muscles can't help him win duels again. All he does is run, jump and sweat. Might as well compete in a triathlon next season. |
Ibime:Hmmn. . another angle. But King of the World sounds much better to me ![]() |
Ibime:Not necessarily, the World Cup already covers that. It's like asking a student to write junior WAEC when he has already passed the senior equivalent. |
FergieRaww:Yeah. Completely forgot about Kaka. Me wey be Bayern fan sef no remember Kalle, Gerd Muller and Der Kaiser. SMH. The complete list would be Bobby Charlton, Gerd Muller, Beckenbauer, Rumminegge, Paolo Rossi, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Messi. Pele gets a honorary mention, imo. Mbappe looks most likely to be the next entrant on this list but Vinicius, Alvarez and even Rodrygo are close. No hope for Haaland sha ![]() |
BlueMann:Still has to win a Ballon d'or. The ideal 'complete Football' challenge would be winning a domestic league title, the national cup, the Champions League, the World Cup and the game's ultimate individual prize, the Ballon d'or to top it all off. Zidane, Ronaldinho, Messi, off the top of my head are the only ones to have completed Football. |
